They probably ended up together in the last ep she was like them why does he keep texting me, and i forgot where but someone said that in a deleted clip that she was ready to start things again with him
The fact that Sam was still in love with Mercedes in S6, but they literally gave him to Penny Loafers pisses me off. The final episode we were hinted at them still talking when Mercedes said Sam was still texting her plus RIB deleted a Samcedes scene!!!! Whyyyy? Even at the Pailey Fest L*a Michelle even said Samcedes had a scene and they took it away from us. They truly dropped the ball on Mercedes storylines, Sam’s storyline, and a Samcedes endgame. They really had something against non toxic friendships (all of Mercedes friendships) and mature relationships.
They should have had more duets together. Their rendition of “Human Nature” was really good. Next to Brittana and Finchel, they were one of my favorite couples in Glee.

The writers had the nerve to break Shane heart and NOT have these two together?! There's an error, has to be a deleted scene somewhere where they get together
In my mind they continue being "friends" but being really close and invested in each others lives. Sam goes back to school and full on becomes a special ed teacher while also being a music teacher. 2 years after the last glee episode Mercedes wins her first grammy and on that same night in front of all of their friends at the celebration party he proposes. They are currently married with 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls... I had a little too much time today.
It's the real canon ending tho, they actually did end up together...it was written in the script...judt wasn't recorded or it was deleted don't remember which one

Can we also talk about the fact that the writers really tried to frame Sam as a cheater after he get sexually assaulted? This would’ve been an interesting plot to dive deep into since Sam had expressed previous ignorance to the topic of male survivors, and it’s absolutely ridiculous why we never got to spend more time with him after it happened and how he coped with it. Say what you want, but it kills me how Sam just told Mercedes “yeah, I just cheated” and it was left at that. No further discussion was seen, no comfort, no justice, no resolution or apology with Ryder about what Sam had told him previously. Nothing. Ridiculous. This would’ve been a great plot line as well so we could see Mercedes actually supporting Sam for once. We never spent much time with them in general, but when we did, Sam was usually the one comforting and complimenting her. We never saw much of Mercedes reciprocating the love and she usually nagged or acted cold towards him due to his immaturity. That’s all well and good if it works for their relationship, but this would have been key to explore how much Mercedes loved Sam if she was helping him through his trauma of the assault and was the one to comfort him. This storyline could’ve easily replaced the stupid Samchel plot that didn’t need to take place along with many other things that happened in the show. Edit: also, Sam’s tragic dye job shall not be discussed. Thank you.
The only couple that were mature. I hate what they did to them. They are so cute. My endgame. They always had to put him with someone in every season. He kissed every original character, Mercedes the only one that made sense to me. He will never get over her.
at first I didn't really liked them together bc the show didn't build anything they just started the couple saying they had something over the summer. I love them now and watching this again really shows how they should have been endgame
I'd include "Hell to the No" when Sam writes "Hell No" on a notebook and holds it up while grooving, and also when he's grooving backstage to the Troubletones performance (I Will Survive/Survivor)

I am so mad at the writers for destroying this. 🤦♀️ Sam was even was ready to wait for her!! And I understand the kiss thing but I believe they could have worked it out!!!
They could’ve had their own sitcom spin-off that would’ve been loving and sweet and if they broke up there it would be heartbreaking, when they get back together it feels magical That’s how much amazing chemistry these two had😭❤️
So youre telling me that they started dating by the end of season 2, broke up in the begining of season 3, had a teenie weenie fling for the remainder of that season, and we, as viewers, don't get an explanation of the breakup until season 5? The writers were on one.
i will always and forever hate the writers for not making samcedes endgame because they were just undeniably perfect for eachother. their chemistry was so beautiful and im so damn sad it didnt last.

Rewatching glee made me soo mad.. just gonna watch till season 3 then skip season 4 watch some season 5. And just the last episode of season 6 bcos samchel made me literally threw up in my mouth. Like the writers made sam a backup for finn?? Wtf?! He was his own character and sam who was so sweet, supporting and funny had to 'replaced ' finn in season 6 like wtf?? The being a teacher was finn not sam. And the finale peopleee!!! In the script the writers wrote that sam and mercedes got back together after he asked her for dinner and she accepted and he told mr shue that he and mercedes are ready to get back together and settle down but they just didnt shoot it. So at least they are canon. I just placate my heart with that fact and read a lot of fanfiction.
I'll never forgive the writers for hucking Samcedes when Mercedes wouldn't have gotten to where she was WITHOUT SAM. The fact that they weren't endgame breaks my heart 💔💔
I wish they’d do a reboot and Mercedes would be a superstar! I mean it fits her character so much plus she could definitely be a hugeee star with her voice!!

Facts this makes so angry every time..absolutely no need breaking them up in season 5 only to put him with rachel in season 6 as a replacement for finn only to put rachel with jesse in the end and throwing away the development of sam and Mercedes. There was also a scene where they were endgame but they deleted it 😑
The direction they went the second half of S5 should have been the direction they went the whole time instead of bringing in Wish versions of the original cast
I feel like it's implied that they ARE endgame, they just aren't back together YET. Like, after all these years, Sam is only dating other girls casually but still texts Mercedes? When they broke up, it was a maybe someday kinda thing. I think it's just a matter of them being ready to truly commit to each other.

I love Tina and mike, and I know they loved each other but mike had his own path and so did Tina. Tina lied to Artie but their friendship grows on during the show and I felt like the were endgame fr fr
