Lucky for me, I learned about the "1994 Rangers destiny" hex that was on the Panthers. So I used my Mighty Morphin Power Rangers blockage card on it. Yet, my card still almost didn't work. You were an extremely difficult team to get through. If it went to 7 I feared my card was used up. Sorry to the Rangers fans. But congrats on a great season.
Not in your lifetime. Or mine for that matter. This Ranger team can't close the deal. And the stars were MIA most of the series. No urgency. Just pathetic. And the coaching was below average the whole series. Need big roster changes next season.

@The1WhoKnowsTheTruth losing doesn't mean they didn't show up. They still got lots of shots on Bob but Bob stood tall most of the series. The thing about great goaltenders is that it's not easy to score on them. Rangers also got far more penalties called through the series, which doesn't help. It doesn't mean they couldn't control themselves it just means that the Panthers got away with alot more, which is exactly what happened last year until the played Bettman's Golden Knights. Anybody that thinks it's just the players that determine the winner is not paying very close attention.
It was a great season but obviously such a disappointing end. Thank you for all of your videos this season! I enjoyed watching them! We’ll see what they do in the offseason and I believe they’ll be back next season strong and cup ready!
Man I am a Dallas Stars and this sucks for both of us. Same old story for my team when we have been going to the 3rd round and collapsing even though we did make it to the Finals in 2020. I was really looking forward to seeing a Stars vs Rangers Stanley Cup Final. Just like the final seconds also where the Stars just lost 2-1 and trying to tie it up as well.

Painful ending to a great year of Rangers hockey! I was on my honeymoon in 94 watching them win the cup. In Florida this week celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. So sad to see it end this way. Florida was just better. PERIOD! Stay well bud...love your channel. 🙏🏻
Igor deserves better. I actually hope he requests a trade when his contract is up. He deserves a ring, not what they did to Hank. I've loved this team since I was 8 years old but I can't do it anymore. I'm taking at least one season off hockey and everything I own with a Rangers logo is going into storage. I have way too much BS going on in my life without the added stress and disappointment this team promises every season. If any team since 94 was going to win it all this was it. I feel like they may never win a cup again.

Too soft.....Can't be a soft team in the playoffs. You can win in the regular season playing that style but when you play a more physical team in a 7 game series soft teams get exposed.
I caught slack all season from co-workers who are also rangers fans for saying our defense wasn’t good enough and it truly showed. They need a new defensive core. I would give Miller a pass cause he young and has shown much potential but he also didn’t play with enough passion or grit. Once again when it matters most out key forwards absolutely disappeared and that shit is getting tired. Must build around Igor and not waste his talents. Feels like what we went through with the King all over again.
Igor is the only reason this was close. NY about to waste the prime years of yet another world class goalie. Also, Trouba might want to learn how to actually play defense
@@ChrisLamia I said before game 5 that they should start Quick. Not because Igor was bad, but MAYBE the team would've woken up a little bit in front of the goalie. Was definitely worth a shot.
Good season overall but Shesterkin and Quick papered over the cracks on numerous occasions. Zibanejad is a highly skilled player but has no snarl or pushback in him.Compare both Tkachuk brothers with him and who would you rather? Laviolette can only work with the players he's got and actions count not words Kreider is a perfect example, always knows what he's not doing and more often than not continues not to do it.He goes missing for multiple games.This team is not built for playoff hockey as we clearly witnessed. Trouba is past his prime, the defence is not physical enough and Shesterkin is run over all the time with no one prepared to protect him. On the plus side Trocheck has been superb , he has skill and grit and Lafreniere has been another standout. What would Igor's save percentage be like with say 20% less shots on him.Until the back end is sorted out there will be no Cup.
31 years and counting now. Can't get almost no production from your top 3 guys this deep into the postseason and expect to go win the Cup. I know it's still quite early on in Igor's career, but I get a strange feeling it's going to be another Lundquist situation, amazing goalie with no team in from of him to get it done.

I'm a 40 year die hard Rangers fan. I don't miss a game. I knew we weren't beating Florida unless Igor shut them out. I love this Rangers team, and of course Florida is built to beat the Rangers... that's why they are going to the Cup finals and we are hitting the golf course again. All I am going to say is we are very, very close. Remember when we won the cup, Neil Smith and Keenan traded Tony Amonte, Mike Gartner and Todd Marchant for Matteau, Noonan, Glenn Anderson and Craig MacTavish. All two way grinding players. Look at that 94 Rangers lineup. That whole line could grind with the exception of Kovalev, who could hold his own and Zubov who was basically a great passer and stick checker needed for the Power Play. This 2024 Rangers team needs the grinders at the right time. Add a couple in the office season and a couple during the deadline. What sux is if Wheeler was healthy, Mika and Chris would have been fine. I wish we tried Wennberg on top line sooner. He made a difference. Will be surprised if Rasolvic is brought back. Like him, but not for playoffs. See you next yr

Rangers need tougher players....soft teams can rack up wins during the regular season with offense but as soon as they have to play a skilled physical team in a 7 game series soft teams usually get exposed.
As a Panthers fan, i feel for Igor man. Bro played out of his mind and it wasn't enough to get over the hump. The rangers will be back and i believe they'll win the cup sooner rather than later.
The Rangers really need to take a page out of the Florida Panthers team that just eliminated them... The Panthers were just so much more hungry for this win, for the series win. They were beating the Rangers to pucks, constantly skating, moving their feet. Rangers players, practically gliding out there half the time. They just didn't seem to have any desire or fire under them.

Until the Rangers are able to build a quality 5v5 team they’re going to be stuck in the same mold they have been the past 3 years of relying heavily on the PP and needing Igor to be an absolute god at all times. That’s not a great recipe for success. Sure it could potentially work and result in a Cup but the odds are much slimmer than if the Rangers were actually a good 5v5 team.

Florida smothered the Rangers, If not for Igor standing on his head the Rangers would have been swept, Pretty hockey doesn't work deep in the playoffs. The stronger more physical team won.

Changes need to be made not sure how that happens when your star players have multiple years left on there contracts this team will never win mika and kreider playing like they did and its concerning because its becoming a pattern in the playoffs watching mika play is concerning cause he was crap all year not just in the playoffs he doesnt shoot, he can't win faceoffs he doesnt hit and when was the last time he showed any emotion and kreider is no better you need your best players to be the best and again they weren't dont get me started on trouba come july 1 he puts in his list of 15 no trade team list so drury better find somebody to take him. Drury has some work to do this off-season.

To be a champion, you have to be willing to pay the price. In 1994. We had a player named Adam “Braves” Graves who had broken bones, broken teeth and scars all over his face. He’s a multi Stanley Cup winning player we had many more just like him on the team in 1994 Messier, Essa Tikkanen, Anderson, Kypreos, J Wells, Jeff Beukeboom there’s more but I’m sure you get the point.how many can you name on this team today? The only one that comes to mind is Lindgren. Let’s hope that we don’t waste another incredible goaltenders career “ Henrik Lundqvist,” build a team that wants to win please. If Chris Kreider only had Ryan Callahan’s heart, he would be a Ranger legend.

Thank you Saps VERY MUCH for all the reactions throughout the season, great job 👌🤟👍 This team is what it is, unfortunately so many guys that didn't show up have the biggest contracts on the team, they are untradable, so we'll most likely be looking at guys with huge contracts playing as third liners next year. It's time to stop treating some of these guys as first line players. Laf, Shesty, Cullye, Schneider, Miller, Kakko, Jones, Othmann, Edstrom, Perrault should all be improving or being integrated into the lineup the next two seasons. If Drury us smart he'll start building around Laf instead of looking at another Cup run with vets that aren't good enough.
Just gonna spit facts… rangers went 3-6 in last 9 games. They were outplayed again by Carolina and Florida in the 2 series. Yes they won games they shouldn’t have but you can’t depend on that formula. The eye test doesn’t lie, florida was significantly better, we just had an Igor!
This hurt a lot but we still have a few years left with this core. Drury has to find a permanent RW1 this offseason, we haven’t had one since Buchnevich. They need to move on from Trouble to find someone better than Gustafsson.
Maybe... and hear me out... actually commit to a rebuild... the letter was sent out, and 3 years later, the "rebuild" was over. That is not how a rebuild works at all... The window is closed... it was probably closed last year, but Igor was trying his hardest to keep the window cracked.
The window is definitely closed at this point... Mika, Krieder, Panarin, and Trouba are all still gonna be there next year and will be another year older and another year slower... Laf is turning into a NHL top 6 but where is all the young talent? Kakko is disappointing, Chytil is great but I worry about his health, Rempe is a 6'9 240lb 5 minute major machine who gets manhandled by smaller dudes in board battles, Cuyll (sp?) isn't the guy either... Igor should probably start fielding offers from other teams and dip out... "The Letter" was sent out promising a rebuild and three years later it was over and what we actually got was an expensive, disappointing retool. The Devils and Flyers are gonna win another cup before the Rangers do... 😰
It was a good run this year, but we gotta face reality. Never gonna win a championship with Panarin, Trouba, Miller and Kakko on this team, they need to move those guys and get guys who show up in the clutch moments. That’s just my opinion.
Its the weight you carry of choosing the Rangers as your Hockey team eternally. Some day they'll win, but no where close to now. Its heartbreaking yet typical. Anything less than the cup this year was an absolute failure. You play amazing all year but the 5on5 problem comes back to bite in the most important 3 games of your entire season. Just so sad man.
