I noticed that the one on the left tended to shine best in the soft and feminine looks while the one on the right looked better in the more geometrical pieces.
I use to work for David's bridal and the round about way I had to convince women with curves to buy the dress a bigger size and pay for the alterations, was like explaining rocket science. Most full figured women are fuller on one half of their bodies. So with a fitted dress, if you want to be comfortable and have the dress fit like it was made to fit, you have to buy the dress for the fuller half of you. Everybody says they are going to lose weight before the wedding. Why would you do that? Either get married as you are or do the weight lose thing before trying on dresses. 3 to 6 months before your wedding you need to just maintain the body you have. Don't gain weight don't lose weight. That way what ever dress you fall in love with at that time you can say yes to and save a ton of money on alterations. I have seen so many women pay more for alterations then they paid for the dress because they gain to many inches body building trying to lose weight or they lost to much weight and now the dress a way to big. I use to always say the man is marrying you be yourself on that day. If you need to lose weight or gain weight for health reasons then you can start that journey after the wedding. It's kind of poetic that way when you think about it. You're starting a new life on that day let that day be the day everything changes.
The flowy dresses (except dress #2) looks better on the heavier model and the fitted dresses looks better on the thinner model. Either way, they both looked good.
No matter what body type or shape you have, never forget that you are a beautiful person and no one can ever take that away from you. Both are killing these dresses and look amazing 🤩
These styles looked beautiful on both models, and I think dressing this body type is the easiest regardless of size because they both have curves. It would be nice if you could feature models who are not hourglass or pear-shaped. This would showcase what wedding dresses look like on less curvy models.
That’s what I would like to see…not just different sizes but different shapes as well. And harder to dress shapes! I feel like hourglass is the easiest no matter the size
Love these dresses. The woman on the right killed the last two and the Avril one but the woman on the left ate up the rest They are both so beautiful. Crazy how different dresses can look on different body types 💙
I liked the Caine dress the best out of all of them, but especially on the curvier model, it just had a more sensual vibe. The model on the right looked the best in the blush one.
Cattleya: Double Trouble 👑🏆👑🏆 Frey: Nobody wins 😞 Miata: curves take the 🍰 (pun MINORLY intended) Calathea: slim allows for more fun drape 😋 Avril: there is no wining 📉 Caine: ❤ is all-around sweet
What I love most about this video is the lack of assigning good or bad to the way each dress looks on both models. Like both of them are smiling and elegant in every gown, and I love that
Honestly the slimmer grl looked stunning in everything. My eyes just went to her. I'm not body shaming anyone but some dresses suit slim girls, some suit curvy.
Is it just me? Only two of two of the dresses - cathalea and the Miata - looked good in the smaller figure. Everything else looked more amazing on the full figure. Thanks for showing this!
They both look gorgeous but some of these look better on one than the other to me. Like the first looks better on the brunette, and the second looks better on the blonde etc.
Can we stop with the 'who looked better' nonsense? Everyone has their own beauty. When people say they prefer the bigger girl, it's often pure bias, usually because they're bigger themselves and want to feel better about it. If it were the other way around, preferring a slimmer woman would get you labeled as fatphobic. Let's drop the double standards and appreciate all body types without the need for validation.
I’m big. I liked the way most things fit the smaller model better. The bigger model is gorgeous and was definitely working those gowns though. I loved this. Thanks! Disclaimer: just my opinion!!! Don’t come for me!!!
