#SaminaKarim is the mother of #ArfaKarim Randhawa who was a Pakistani student and computer prodigy who, in 2004 at the age of nine, became the youngest #Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). She also at 10, earned a pilot's license. She had her name in #GuinnessBook of World Records. She kept the title until 2008. Arfa represented Pakistan on various international forums including the TechEd Developers Conference. She also received the President's Award for Pride of Performance in 2005. A science park in Lahore, the Arfa Software Technology Park, was named after her. She was invited by Bill Gates to visit Microsoft Headquarters in the United States. She died on 14 January 2012, aged 16, following a cardiac arrest.

Thanks to Samina Pirzada Gi. Solutes to parents of Arfa Karim for such a noble intellect daughter perhaps rare borne in centuries but by virtue of our holy prophet(pbuh) by the grace of God. I have seen great Shaheens of Allama Iqbal's perspectives. But Arfa was a "Child Shaheen" of Iqbal which comes on this plannet very dear and royal to Allah. While in Lahore as Prof/Supervisor with my graduate and PhD students I have been to Arfa Tower for traffic and transport studies of Lahore Metropolitan Master Plan areas.
