Best Video to get a good idea for beginners of how SAML works. Explained with good examples and application/interface which he is using was too good. Content - 10/10 Interface - 10/10 And by the way, does anyone know which application he uses for the explanation. We can maintain good notes by using that.

A great explanation! I was working with SAML for almost 5 years but I didn't know what are passed in the Metadata file. Now I have a clear picture of the whole SAML process. I appreciate for doing this in the right way!

Thanks a lot for sharing this video. It strikes the right balance between the technicalities and the big picture needed to introduce someone to SAML 2.0. Most of the resources I found before were either too technical such as the specification itself or were focused on configuring a specific product without explaining the underlying concepts. If I would recommend a resource for a beginner, it would definitely be this video.

I agree, this is so far the best explanation video that I have encountered which explains very accurately and simple what SAML is and how it works, after going through different pages and videos to understand better the SAML protocol, this one literally in the first minute explains everything in a simple way and very straighforward. Very well explained...saml concept is cleared now...much things are done at the background..such as authentication and authorization and many more.. between IDP and SP.
