What are some safe good neighborhoods/areas around Sammamish?- Any with real estate in 200k for 3 bedrooms? Also, is it pretty diverse? I ask because my children are biracial (Caucasian & Chinese) thanks so much!
It's kinda dead. Only 2 excellent restaurants, no night life, nothing new or enticing. Traffic is increasing to suburbia but nothing new in retail to get excited about. Issaquah: character, history; Bellevue: diversity, history, acceptance and cooperation. Sammamish: A soul-sucking nightmare of Stepford families, standard pleasure models and pod people. The high schoolers are very kind and polite and will become great role models. Their parents though managed to spawn a self-sufficient and morally kind generation (oblivious to their own shallowness). The city seemed to communicate with the Vancouver "No Fun!" committee. So it's withering. People seem pretty icy. Just my observations, though. I went to the farmers market and felt like there should be more than just vendors. Make it interesting. Live music or demos. Special note to: Nightmare at Beaver Lake: don't use child actors for scares. It's not a school play and I don't care that your kid is in the show Also, don't hire street vendors to do the scary clown crap. It's annoying.
