This is the other album of Sammy Kaye that we had back in the 60s. As young children, we listened to this a lot because it is one of my dad’s favourites. My dad and mom would slow dance to this album in our living room and my siblings and I would also pair off and follow their steps. My childhood years are my best memories! My dad has long gone and my mom no longer listens to this music as she’s far from me. Our youngest brother who now looks after her does not know about this album and this music. How I miss both of my parents but will soon see my mom! ❤️
The most lovable music in this album is the last number THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM...need to repeat that portion again and again.. I really love that piece, excellent.
Entre 55 e 70 foi o auge das grandes orquestras , e não fosse o grande inventor das gravações tudo estaria perdido ,agradeço a eles ,por nós estarmos com tudo isto a nossa disposição das grandes Big band
Hey Lucio 49, thanks for uploading. This album is my father's favorite and mine too. I have an old 33.5 vinyl record of this but already scratchy and has portions where the needle jumps. I've been looking for a copy of this record for years now but to no avail. I downloaded yours but I see some rolling and panning of the high frequency, but good enough especially the memories it brings about my papa and mama, now long gone, and our tiny little home where music like this fills the corners. So sweet! Thanks and Gbu.
I'm trying to find one of Sammy Kaye's 1950-60's album that my father purchased a long time ago. This cover looks like the cover of the album we had back in the day. Oh!!!! THIS IS IT!!!!!! i KNEW IT. The first song, I remember, then the 2nd - "The More I See You" Wow!!! I'm glad I found it here. I'm trying to remember and recall how we all loved this album esp. my father. He was always happy and smiling and enjoyed this album so much. Even me, I have played this album so many many times esp. when he was still alive. I miss those days. I miss my father. Thank you so much, lucio49 for posting it here and I felt relieved I found it.
I play this album many times everyday...so delightful lovely selections of songs particularly one of these is the music on the last part... The Impossible Dream...ohhhh what a lovely music i ever heard.
