Sample variance and standard deviation (for the @CFA Level 1 exam) explores how to compute the two measures using longhand formulas as well as the DATA and STAT functions of the BA II Plus Professional calculator.
I am very thankful for you explaining how to do this in the calculator! It is very helpful especially for me who is a first time user of a financial calculator. It saves me a lot of time. Please never stop doing this!! I love your content.
Explained in the best way possible.I appreciate the efforts. Please make a video on the P- value, that is the most complicated topic in Quants, is what I believe.
This is so helpful. I'm studying for the CFA and quant is not really my strength. I am using Mark Meldrum, who I really like, but I must say that this explanation is far superior to his. If I were the author of this video, I'd consider making a CFA study curriculum.
Hi there, thanks a lot for your comment. As the author of the content, I really appreciate your opinion! I am currently recording a longer video series, covering the entire Level 1 Curriculum, which will be available to channel supporters. I plan to launch this in February.
The style of your teaching is what i liked most, i am preparing for level 1 for Feb 24 attempt. Someday i would love to meet and work with you once i complete my charter ✌
Hi, I am in the process of creating longer videos (45 - 60 mins long) which will cover the Curriculum in a more comprehensive way. I will be posting the initial ones in early February and they will initially be freely available. Once I have built up a fair catalogue I will be making further videos available to channel supporters only. Everything will be done by the RU-vid channel support feature. I still have not decided on the fee, but expect this to be something like 10 USD per month. Once I get over the challenge of creating and uploading the entire Level 1 content, I will proceed withe Level 2 and so on. This is a long term effort, but the support feature for a flat monthly fee will provide access to all content.
Hi, thanks a lot. I really think that Quantitative Methods is one of those areas where you have to expect a broad scope of questions. Its really difficult to pinpoit a favourite or hot topic. They are all equally important ... unfortunately :)
Thanks for your comment. I appreciate the suggestion. You know, I wanted to create a recording environment where I could write and face the audience/camera and that is something which I can only do on a lightboard. However, in order to make the writing visible, I need to have a dark background. A white background would not provide enough contrast for the coloured pens. So, I will need to stick to the dar background until I can think of a better technology :)
