0:33 the eternally sample is from a SOPHIE pack,,, txt and sophie being remotely in the same project is the best thing i've found out this week LOL ❤ love the video!!!!
YES I REALIZED THAT TOO!! I was like wait a minute... babymonster?? while listening to seOul drift the other day. I'm glad I wasn't just imagining things haha. Good ear!
My mind is blown. I had no idea half of these songs were samples… especially those LESSERAFIM songs! Great sample analysis video! Also, I need some help finding a sample. It’s from WEi’s Ocean. I heard the guitar stem in a commercial, and I tried finding it online but no luck. If it’s not too much trouble, could you access Splice and find it if it exists?
another song sampling Funk & Soul Kits by Unmüte is NMIXX's Dash, i found the beat drop sound after the first chorus; KIT6_90_Organ_Licks_1_Cmin.wav from splice
are u going to do another kpop sample compilation vid? if yes, badvillain's song +82 has a sample in it that is widely used specially in drill beats/songs, i think it's some type of snare because i found the same sound in a lot of hip hop sample packs... le sserafim's smart and ciipher's that's okay uses the cashier fx which is also in a lot of free sample packs and is widely used in a lot of hip hop and drift phonk songs :) !!
i dont remember if you already put this one, but enhypen "10 months" used the same sample of kim petras "i dont want it at all", and keembo "99" sound kind of similar too (the "tan tan tan. tan tararandan tan tan" is the same but how it sounds is different) idk the name of the sample, but just to mention it if someone knows it 😿
I’ve watched a few compilation videos of songs/pieces of music that Andrew Lloyd-Webber ripped off, it was weird to see one of his songs be the one sampled this time 😂 For the next video, I’d really appreciate it if you included Wish from NCT Wish 🙏 I’m dying to know which Gershwin song was sampled
For anyone who wants to know: Sample - an existing sound is used again Interpolation - an existing melody is used again Plagiarism - using existing work with the intention of passing it off as your own It's a bit of a spectrum and up to interpretation, some music leans more sample/interp. and others lean more plagiarism A good way to tell is by how it is used in a song. If the sound/melody is edited or well mixed into the song, it leans sample/interp. If it is not edited or is straight up the same sound/melody without changing anything, it leans to plagiarism.
