Amouage is definitely a house to try before you buy……they are powerhouses across the board. I own Material and Overture (woman). I have a decant of several others that I’m playing in. Sunshine (woman) is challenging for me as well. Love Tuberose is a hit for me, although I’m not a white floral girl. Guidance I need to wear more to make a decision
I like Blossom Love a lot my absolute favorite so far from this house is Lilac Love. The most feminine powdery fragrance ever! You must try. I need to try Love Tuberose from your description.
You have me interested in Love Tuberose!! I've avoided it because heavy white florals kind of punch me in the face and give me a headache, but the smoothness you describe gives me hope. 😊

I just got a sample of Lineage and was absolutely blown away I love the fresh peppery scent on me! I liked it more than Guidance which on me smells like a high end floral scented powder that’s been sitting in a damp wood drawer.

Amouage has slowly become my favourite fragrance house . Sushine was my first addition a year ago . I get a beautiful creamy nutty scent from it no sour fruit at all. That I’m thankful for . I have Honour , Guidance (a lifer ) , Lineage ( which is a strange but calming scent for me ) and Material . Lilac Love is on its way. Now I really want to pull the plug on Love Tuberose . There are so many bangers in Amouage , overture and Epic were instant loves for me but I live in a tropical country and unfortunately would be hard to really wear those heavier spicer ones
Ok. Seems like I need to check out Material. I agree with everyone else. Overture is a cold weather type of fragrance. It's really strong too. You might like it.
I'm a man, and I have and use Sunshine Woman and Lineage. I love Amouage; it's probably one of the last real niche houses around. I have many fragrances from their collection.
Hello new bride ! I too have purchased 3 Amouage scents . Sunshine , Figment, and Love Tuberose . I don’t reach for them the most but I’m glad I have em .
Yay that you like Honor. I got started with Amouage with Honor Extrait. You might be one of the few fragrance reviewers that doesn’t dump on Honor for being a “white floral that leans more traditional” which is a bizarre take, given the amazing leathery/resinous drydown. I went to smell Guidance at the store but came home with the Honor Extrait. I get so many compliments on it. Made me brave enough to try more Amouage and now have 4 bottles that aren’t Guidance 😂. This house knows the ladies of all ages and stages!

Great review. Cherry Blossom is okay, it has a strange note that bothers me sometimes, but I like the fragrance for the most part, Sunshine Woman is so good on my skin and I wear it in the summer. It’s one of my favs, Honor Woman is a good Tuberose and when I wear that I’m feeling grown, Journey is another fav, but you have to like honey scents and I do. Portrayal Woman is a tobacco floral and I need to pull her out this fall. I was debating about purchasing Material Woman because I have other Vanilla type frags, but I’ll probably add her to my collection 😊❤
Recently I have been interested in this house, and have tried Guidance, Sunshine woman, and Love Tuberose. I have to have Sunshine and Love Tuberose, absolute love ❤️
I had to return Blossom Love because it was a bit much for me but I did get Overture and I absolutely love it! Definitely a hit or miss house but the hits are AMAZING!
lineage is a different type of fragrance for sure but I love it. It really shines and transforms on my skin in the extreme summer heat. Very clean with some incense. Very spicy spa as you described lol Love tuberose and sunshine are forever favorites and Guidance of course is very romantic vibes. Loved seeing your review on these ❤ Edit: I forgot to mention overture woman! So special and sexy! Please get your nose on that one ☺️
Aw darn, I love Sunshine! It smells beautiful (to my nose) on my skin and it always brings a smile to my face. On the other hand, Material.... I was so disappointed because the note breakdown sounded dreamy, but on my skin... It smelled like I hadn't taken a bath for ages. Opening, mid, dry down... Stink, stank, stunk! I can't figure out which note or combo of notes did that, but I was super bummed. 😕
Blossom Love was a bit elderly smelling i couldnt stand it. I had Love Tuberose but ended up selling it. I liked it at first but it turned very andolic on me even with the sweet cream i didnt like it. Now Sunshine Woman is my latest purchase from Amouage and I love it! It is great for summer and fall in my opinion. Its so fruity and tobacco smelling on me. She was my scent of the day yesterday sorry it didnt work on you its a huge love for me!
So I am just catching this video today. You and I have alot in common. I ABSOLUTELY hate Sunshine Woman, Lineage, and Purpose. I love love Guidance and Overture Woman. I want to try Love Tuberose and Material next but twisted samples stay sold out😂.
I really enjoy Amouage Material. I've been loving resinous/amber fragrances though. I've tried Une Nuit Nomade Click Song, BDK Wood Jasmine, and Élisire Ambre Nomade. I liked all those, but Click Song is a bit too strong for me to wear personally.
I in love with honour women . Its so brutal. And i bought samples of 5 mil of sunshine and love tuberous, I received sunshine just 10 minutes ago and I like it . Really nice . Could not wait to try love ❤️ tuberous
I am a huge fan of Amouage! Faves being Lyric edp, dia edp, Ciel, Bracken, Lilac Love, Love Tuberose, Memoir edp and probably lyric men as of right now. I smelled and love all of these. Did you have your thyroid removed by any chance? (Sorry for being so curious…)
omg! I just got a bottle of Material and I don't get the hype. I hate it and I don't get the similarity to Absolute Aphrodisiac which ironically I love. I do love ❤ Vanilla Barka though which was my first scent from this house
