When Samson was a teenager he rapped under the name of JByrd and he opened up for Tech N9ne and did his own version of Black and Yellow and called "Green and Yellow" for his favorite Football team The Greenbay Packers and they heard it and would play it in the stadium before their home games. So he's got the pedigree and some of the craziest talent I've ever seen in a rapper, so if he does go back to straight rapping and puts out music more frequently he will blow the fvck up and I'm here for it!
He just wants to rap and not be like Tom Macdonald and beg for Billboard numbers. That's who the Billboard line was aimed at. As well as rappers who put out cringe surface level political songs. And the line about people who were there from the beginning doing political style rap who said Samson was just in it for the money and they wrote him off is aimed at Adam Calhoun who left a comment one of Flawdzilla's Samson reactions. Thing is Samson can rap circles around both of them. So I'm happy to see him cut ties with the Cesspool and will start rap rapping again.
