Nick’s long torso and short legs are a hurdle that will continually hold him back from perpetual greatness. There is no denying though that he has packed on freaky size to his physique.
It’s interesting that just a handful of us can see that. His proportions are terrible; although his muscularity is second to none. He doesn’t have a pleasing physique due to his horrible structure.
Many pros after they are done competing go off for about 8 weeks to let their body rest and recover. Many pros in the 2000s also did that including Ronnie.
If nicks outer quad sweep just came all the way up to his waist like some guys, like hadi, he would be unstoppable. For some reason he lacks that development and it makes his legs shorter than they are.
Samson can't sacrifice size roundness and fullness with conditioning. As soon as he diets down, he can't afford to loose these attributes. He has to find the perfect formula, to keep all aspects. He has the genetics. But... He has to find the formula.
He also needs to watch his midsection. He has packed on a ton of size in the last few years, and his midsection has noticeably distended over that period.
I think I've got Nick at 4 or 5 this year. That being said, he has shown to be able to beat Samson. I don't think Nick beats Derek or Hadi, but he's in top 5. His overall structure and just *SIZE* is so big that he needs to be shredded to come in good.
Derek/Hadi are going to be hard to beat. Samson is a clear 3rd. Nick is going to be battling to hold off everyone else from that 4th spot between Hunter/Andrew, etc. Cracking Top 5 is going to be ROUGH this year.
I feel like no one is bringing us the craziest stuff we have ever seen, its like they are comfortable and just going through the motions, no one is bringing that intensity beside Hadi.
How can Nick tell Andrew Jacked isn't looking good enough for 4 weeks out? You couldn't even see anything except his arms and thye looked pretty cute to m e.
Derek, Hadi and Samson will be the top 3 in my opinion. My only doubt is about Samson; if he nails the conditioning he could be a contender for the Mr. Olympia. Otherwise he might be even out of the top 3 (in favour of Fitzwater or Tabani). The key point of this Olympia will be the conditioning.
@Nick's Strength and Power Stephane Matalah have the best arm all time classic and even pro bodybuilding period. Plz use his last arm training video posted an hour ago and talk about it !
Nick's best lat spread is when he hits it similar to his hands on hips most muscular. His shoulders look wider and he crunches his abs. It goes from looking like a fridge to looking like a killer. He's never going to look good in a traditional lat spread, so he needs to game it.
The Oxygen Gym team must have the juice protocol down to a next level science because everyone that starts training there gets that extreme rounded look with a "plastic-like" look to the muscles that I don't see anywhere else.
“If Samson, one of the biggest pro bodybuilders right now, maintains his size and then shows up with the best condition in the IFBB, he’ll win the Olympia” I mean, yeah? Not exactly a groundbreaking take, the problem is I seriously doubt he’s ever going to put a package like that together
I love how Samson had so much positivity & momentum when he was being coached by Mountain Dog. Now because he left Milos, everyone’s salty about him and now he’s out of top 3 ⭕️ predictions… you lot are crazy. Watch him come in at his best ever at this Olympia and shake it up - assuming the condition is where it needs to be. Hadi & Samson top 2. Hadi should’ve won it last year.
A little early to be picking spots at the O, but I'll go with Nick in 4th. Big Ramy... Done. Samson looks crazy. A legit freak, with a better chance of cracking the top three than Nick does.
I think Nick will be around 4th or 5th unless some guys come in off then I could see him getting into top 3. He reminds me of alot of how Branch Warren was, his freakiness and conditioning are always going to get him first call out just depends on what kind of shape everyone else comes in. I got it, 1. Hadi 2. Derek 3.Samson 4. Nick 5. Brandon Curry
Samson looks like he is putting size on the mid section as well as the back and I think it will hurt him at the Olympia. Nick looks like he is fixing his midsection and so I see him top three or better.
