@@vrx_mt Probably because he didn't . It's like Yodsanklai . He was known as a very technical , methodical and precise striker . But then went on to KO people because when you posses flawless timing , precision and reflexes , having more punching power is not that hard . Yod was with Petchyindee but he wasn't considered a huge power puncher at all . Then went to Fairtex , got more muscular and bigger and so everything he threw was extremely powerful . Now the case with Veeraphol was not like Yod in a sense that he didn't get bulky , didn't change camp , didn't take steroids , didn't fight C level fighter , etc... But it's probably why in this video ( among others ) they said that Veeraphol was a "Muay Tchagwa Femur" , that mean that at the very least his timing was comparable to that of the best Muay Femur out there even though Veeraphol wasn't Fighting like a Muay Femur or atleast not completely . That's also why Yod nickname is "Boxing Computer" and not "Satan's Punch" ( Coban ) , "Punch of the angel of death" ( Lakhin ) , "Iron Fist" ( Samrangsak Muangsurin ) , "33 seconds puncher" ( Wangchannoi ) , etc... His technical and calculated style was more apparent than his punching power or finishing ability . For Veeraphol it's the same : extremly technical , perfect timing , flawless precision , very good reflexes , great at defending strikes ( except Samson's punch ) , very patient and intelligent , take his time and fight accordingly , do not waste anything , posses a gamplan and battle tactic for each opponent , dangerous is most strikes . That's what people saw before Veeraphol VS Samson 2 happens . Probably their opinion changed but who knows , maybe Veeraphol became more punch heavy than before , and got the "Death Mask" nickname . We must see when did Veeraphol begin to KO people left and right . But yeah it's strange how he said that Veeraphol wasn't a one punch KO artist , only explenation is that prior to this fight he wasn't . It's like going back in time to the year 2000 and tell people that Yodsanklai is gonna become one of the most famous KO artist of this generation ...many would say Nope .
