Hi Sky Perspective - just wanted to say that I really appreciate the pace of your videos - you clearly think carefully about what you are saying and it makes it easy to follow along with the images. Please don't be tempted to "speed up" to include too much in each of your videos - I personally really appreciate the pace of them as it means I get much more from them and don't have to re-watch 100 times to catch what you are saying - thank you!
Hi Marios, first of all thank you so much for your honest feedback. I seldom get such constructive feedback, so I appreciate this very much. It's been a while since I made this video, and I do realise the pace difference when I re-watch this video. I am currently making Ikea smart light video, and realise the pace difference. Thanks for the reminder. Yes, I do a lot of planning and scripting before actually recording the video. This ensures every second of the video is providing valuable information. I am glad my videos are helping so many people. I started this channel just as a fun hobby. Surprise to see 100+ subscribers now.
Okay, from a very old man here. Just got the CF39* and had it going great no complaints in the first few hrs. Wanted to know how to work that toggle button and I ended up muting the sound accidently and now it is a problem getting the sound back because I find the graph line for sound and can adjust it. Not a problem and I see that arrow pointing to "down" which will mute it BUT nothing to unmute it. It shows the speaker with the "X" on it. The manual doesn't say a thing about mute or sound sooo the simple question after all this is like the man ask " How do you take it off mute? " Where do you find to remove it from " Mute " with that " Toggle button "? BTW, when the unit first comes on and it shows that listing of categories and there is one for sound, second one down I believe, my question how do you hit on that for it gives you no chance to try with that toggle button, disappears faster than a speeding Bullitt. Appreciate any help you can provide. Will keep chkg here for your response. Have a great day. :0)
Yes this monitor's image is sharp enough for coding. I would go for a larger monitor like a 27 inch instead of 24. Ideally QHD 1440p resolution is the best for coding if you can stretch your budget a bit. Hope this helps.
Glad it's helpful. It's such a coincidence, i just started working on my next video about this dual monitor mount, and two person asking me about it. You are one of them. 😄 It's the North Bayou F160 dual monitor mount. I am about to finish the video soon. Will share the link here when it's published.
Sure, I will see what I can do. Thanks for giving me the idea. I make videos using my phone so not sure if my phone can capture good videos in the dark to show the monitor bleeding. Now speaking of bleeding, I can't see any light bleeding on my Samsung C27F390 at all. Some of the internet video reviews are referring to C24F390 (24 inch), mine is a C27 (27 inch), so maybe it only affects 24 inch? Which size are you getting? I can't see any light bleed at all, even when I set my monitor wallpaper to black. In fact, now that I am looking for bleeding, I just realised my new Dell S2721H (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SenOllHfT54.html) is actually having a bit of bleeding but not my Samsung C27F390. I see if I can show that in the video. Will post the link here when the video is done.
@@SkyPerspective not true. i just bought this monitor and it has a tilting mechanism. you have to grab it with both hands. one hand on top, on hand on the bottom of the monitor. than you can tilt it carefully. watch this ---------------> /watch?v=u1jGmrRPhiQ worked for me.
There is a setting that allow us to choose how the indicator light behave when off. We can choose the indicator light to be blinking or to be off when we turn off the monitor from the menu. You have to set that setting to off, if you don't want the light to blinking after turning it off. For me, i turn it off at the plug, so everything is off. Hope this helps.
Hi so i just purchased this monitor, set it up and I'm not hearing any audio being transmitted from the monitor itself, despite seeing it as an audio option when I enter my sound settings on the bottom right. Is that normal? Does this monitor come with speakers that play audio?
Yes that's normal and working. No this monitor doesn't have built in speakers. The audio signal output is going from your computer to your monitor. If you plug in your earphones or speakers into the 3.5mm audio jack behind the monitor, you will be able to hear the sound. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

That's an interesting idea. I haven't tried, but I suspect you should be able to. This monitor does not come with speakers. However, there is a 3.5mm audio output, so you need to plug a speaker to that audio output to get the audio of the fire stick plugged on the HDMI.
Hi Beatzz Gaming, pretty sure it's 60Hz. It feels like 60Hz to me too, and for the price, I doubt it would be 120Hz. Also this monitor has been around since 2016, back when 120Hz is not very popular, so I doubt it would be 120Hz. Which Amazon ad did you see saying 120Hz?
M4 size screws, 12 mm long. Interesting! Are you thinking of designing a mount to mount your camera against the VESA mount at the back of your monitor?
@@SkyPerspective yas, i'm mechanical engineer and it's my work :) with solidworks i'm gonna design and print it in 3D printer. the material is PLA. i wonder how it's will be in the end.
I am using the screws that come with my monitor arms, so I don't know where to buy those screws. This is the monitor arm I bought: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vLs5p4Q1E7Y.html Let me know if you want me to take a photo of the screw for you. Look for M4 screws for VESA mount. Yes I do lots of simple wood work fabrications too, so can appreciate what you are trying to do.
Hi Chandan, are you asking about the VESA mounting size at the back of the monitor? This Samsung monitor mount is a 75x75 VESA mount. My monitor arms are a desk clamp mount, not a wall mount. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thank you for the video. I want to ask you about the white colour. I bought one and found it yellowish. Do you have the same problem? (Yellowishness is clear in an empty word document or PDF file or photo with a white background). I tried cool colour settings but made it blueish)
Hi Mansoor, no I don't have this problem. My white is very clear white. When I turn on eye saver mode, the white becomes yellowish because of the absence of blue light. Could you have turned on your eye saver mode? Or try change the HDMI Black Level see if that fixes it. If not, try factory reset all your settings: Go to Menu, choose System and Reset All. If the white is still yellowish then your monitor might have an issue. Hope this helps.
Having a problem getting stereo sound when I connect to the computer, I am using a separate sound system. I plug the sound jack into the headphone input but only get mono sound, please advise.
Hi Thomas, did you make sure the sound cable is plugged all the way in? Sometimes we get one side only (mono) when we didn't plug in fully. I haven't used the sound jack a lot. Let me test it to see if we can get stereo sound and let you know.
Hi Thomas, I just tested it with my headphone with audio cable. I can confirm I am getting good stereo audio from the monitor sound jack. Hope this helps.
Sorry I am not sure. I have never removed the stand before. I heard from another reviewer saying the whole back cover needs to be removed in order to remove the stand. Maybe search for a video that shows how to remove the stand? Good luck.
If on a budget, using this monitor for gaming is ok. We use this monitor to play games like Minecraft. If can afford more, I would recommend get a (21:9 aspect ratio) wider curve monitor like 3440x1440 resolution for gaming. We can see more horizontally on one screen.
Hi Mackataktaki, I don't play games very often, so I am not very sure. This monitor is an entry-level 1080p monitor. It does have a game mode that optimizes colours. Response time is 4ms so it really depends on the game you play. Hopefully, someone can share if they have used this monitor for xbox?
