And bro, you probably have a good income, fulfil your dream and purchase a bigger desk, and a second monitor and plug it into that docking station!!! Live your life!!! 😂
I suggest everyone who is interested in this monitor simply get the Dell S3221QS instead. The S3221QS uses the exact same 32" 4K curved VA panel in the UR59C, $25 cheaper, has VESA mount capability, height adjustment and more ports. Plus it's more reliable as it's made with better and more durable materials. I just had my UR59 cook itself after two years, replaced it with the S3221QS and could tell zero difference in the image quality.
@Sam Y It's doing fine! But there is no HDR on it, and neither on the UR59. But I don't really care about HDR and I haven't found a monitor that is 32", 4K, curved and has HDR.
can we fit it on the monitor arm? as I need to move it frequently from left to right to show the display to the next person on my desk. Any solution for it? @Warenotice
Thanks for the suggestion, Warenoticer! Yeah I've heard that it seems people have had more success with 4K 60 with DisplayPort than with HDMI. I will probably try that out next, since I haven't been able to get above 4K 30 with the USB C hub I bought that advertises 4K 60 over HDMI (video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bX5ezTPNPNY.html). I am having monitor sleep issues with this exact monitor and my macbook pro 16inch 2019 when i go to lock the computer my laptop monitor will shut off normally but this monitor will turn off and on flashing hdmi in the corner indefinitely (but not the normal no connection found icon appearing just HDMI in top corner) are you having this same problem with your setup? I prefer not to use a screensaver and may end up returning if cannot be resolved. i have tried every configuration short of buying a new adapter or HDMI cord, is it a compatibility issue?
Great video. love your presentation style and charisma. Btw is that a blue snowball I see? How does it sound so good? Please tell me what audio processing do you use?
What year is the macbook that you're connecting the display to? Mine is a macbook air 2014 and wont render 4k due to resolution compatibilities maxed at 1440p :/ had some issues getting 4k to display on a new dell laptop that had 4k capability too! Any issues that you have come across?
Just purchased the Apple studio but short of funds to buy the Apple studio display at 1899. I saw the UR59C for 319 at Costco. Will this monitor display true 4K from the studio/
Does Samsung have a 32" Curved 4k monitor with the VESA mount..? Love this unit but I need to rack one on top of the other.. I just bought 2 32" FLAT 4k monitors, but wish now I would have went CURVED..!! but need that mount on rear. thanks
I'm IT for a medical instrument company and really want a goo 32" curve monitor. The colors seem pretty rich on this Samsung, are they? If yes, She will be mine! I did get a gaming laptop which was awful, you had to be straight on to see the screen. I took it back within 1 week. Thanks for the informative video.
@TymexComputing USA. I work remotely. This is not to be put on a medical device. I ended up getting the Dell S3222HN. It's great! I wish I could get a second for my set up. Then I could have 4 big windows up side by side.
Hello, I have this monitor from 2020, on the back label Model: U32R590CWU, beautiful clear picture, black is black, white is white, now I bought it again, on the back of the label Model: U32R590CWP, now they are both side by side but the new monitor? - the image in yellow (beige?) generally gives the impression of reduced brightness, black rather beige-dark gray? white is light beige, why ? that of course I've tried all kinds of settings, needless to say, what about it?
Thanks for the compliment, Warenoticer! I've only used the Samsung out of those two, and I love it haha so I'd say the Samsung. I'm not familiar with the Acer though, but hope this helps! Don't forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
The apps on my monitor are those on my MacBook Pro, as I plug that into the monitor to use the monitor as another screen for it. They look like mobile apps because in macOS Big Sur Mac apps were redesigned to look like iOS apps. Hope this helps and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
Of course, Warenoticer! I edit my videos in Final Cut Pro-I love it and can't live without it haha! Hope this helps and don't forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
Hey, does this Monitor have any EMF buzz or sharp noises when you use it or start it? My first 4k Samsung monitor did that and gave me headaches, like some kind of Electro Magnet Frequencies that were sharp and hard on the ears. Thanks
Great question, Warenoticer! I haven’t heard this monitor make any noise thankfully haha. Hope this helps and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
Thanks for the review. I see some good dark colors but most of the time I see the image pretty washed-out. But I am assuming it was the daylight through the room window and the angle the camera was sitting. From 1 to 10, how do you consider the image to be washed-out? 10 being very washed-out. Thanks again. I subscribed btw. Bell icon set to all.
Great question, Warenoticer! I personally don’t think it’s washed out, so I guess I’d give it a 1 on that scale. However I haven’t compared it side-by-side with other competing monitors so that may affect my opinion. If you’re looking for really great colors and color accuracy, you may want to look at an HDR monitor. This monitor unfortunately isn’t HDR. Hope this helps and thanks so much for subscribing!
I still like it haha! I’m always using it with my laptop. My only complaints are that it can be a bit wobbly and I would love if it were HDR! And it would be nice if it had speakers built-in too but I always use my AirPods Max so that’s no big deal. But for the price, it’s definitely a solid monitor! Oh, but I also haven’t ever been able to get 4K 60 (only 4K 30) to work on this monitor with my M1 MacBook Pro, but I’m not sure if that’s because of my USB C hub or something else. Hope this helps and don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss out on all my other awesome technology videos!
Thanks for the kind words, Warenoticer! I don’t have an Xbox and I’ve only used this monitor with my MacBook Pros (an old 2015 model and the new M1 model from 2020). However I love using it with my computer and definitely like this monitor a lot-it’s got a very clear picture thanks to its 4K resolution and I really enjoy how it’s screen is also curved. However it’s important to note that it doesn’t have speakers built into it, so if you want to listen to your Xbox’s audio you’ll need your own headphones or speakers. This is no problem for me since I always use my computer with headphones (specifically my awesome AirPods Max ever since I’ve gotten them). The other drawback of this monitor is that it doesn’t support HDR, so that may or may not affect your desired usage of it. Anyway hope all this helps and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
@@Warenotice thanks for your reply mate, I did notice that it doesn't have HDR but the Samsung website claims it supports AMD Freesync, but doesn't go into any more details.
I see! Yeah I’ve gotten a bit spoiled with the fantastic HDR on my other devices now, so the next time I upgrade my monitor I’ll probably want to get an HDR one. For instance the XDR display on my 12.9-inch iPad Pro has really magnificent colors and brightness-HDR’s gotta be the future!
Hmm okay I see! Yeah haha all the different terms are a bit confusing. See I would call your resolution 2K or 1440p and the others like you said 4K and 5k haha. Thanks for watching though and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
Alright you sold me. There’s a deal at my local retailer for this model, to be $678 instead of $898 AUD. So I’m gonna get 2 of them, for my M1 Mac Mini.
You're welcome, Warenoticer! No, this monitor does not have HDMI 2.1-it has just one HDMI 2.0 port and also one DisplayPort 1.2 port. Hope this helps and don't forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
That’s a good question! I’m not sure since I don’t have a PS5 and I use this monitor with my Mac haha! However, it’s important to note that this monitor doesn’t have built-in speakers, so if you want to play the audio from your PS5 out loud this monitor may not be for you. Hope this helps!
If resolution is what's matter to you, then yes, I have a PS5 and this monitor, coming from PS4 to PS5 on the same monitor, I could see the difference... waaaay difference in resolution... However, this doesn't support HDR + 120hz, but for the price, I think it worth it until they release a 4k (3240 x 2160) with HDMI 2.1 + 120hz in a reasonable price I will stay on this monitor
Great question, Warenoticer! I've attached below a link to the detailed spec sheet on Samsung's website for this monitor. The refresh rate for instance is 60Hz. Would you be able to take this monitor and mount it onto the desk or wall ? I just got it and my desk doesn't have a very big width to it so I'm thinking of mounting it to the desk.
Great question, Warenoticer! I actually don’t know since I use mine on the included stand haha. I would Google it and see. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome technology videos!
Great question, Warenoticer! There is not a computer built into this monitor so you will need your own computer or other device to plug into it. For instance, I use mine with my MacBook Pro. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

I assume that a monitor arm would not work with this monitor would it? I can't seem to see any of the holes for the screws. Can anyone confirm if it would work with a monitor arm????
Great question, Warenoticer! Unfortunately it doesn't support HDR and it also doesn't have built-in speakers. However, I am still very happy with this monitor especially given the price, and am actually typing this response on this monitor haha (using my M1 MacBook Pro plugged into it)! Anyway, thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
Great question, Warenoticer! I haven’t used it with a PS5 (since I don’t have one haha) so I can’t say for sure. However I do enjoy using it with my M1 MacBook Pro so I assume it would be good for that device as well. One thing to note though is that this monitor doesn’t have speakers built in, so you’ll need to use your own speakers or headphones with your PS5 instead. Hope this helps and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
Great question, Warenoticer! That’s because I believe this monitor doesn’t have any speakers in it unfortunately. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing your opinion, Warenoticer! Yeah I prefer to use my monitor at 4K but with the actual content the size of 1080P. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
Great question, Warenoticer! I believe you could since this monitor does have HDMI input! However, keep in mind that this monitor doesn’t have any speakers built into it. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you enjoy your PS5!
I’m glad you think my videos are great! How specifically can I make my thumbnails better? Thanks for your feedback and don’t forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
@Warenotice don't have to do a lot just don't use that specialized looking red background it doesn't attracts and makes your video feels boring go for a more colourful or just simple side.
@Warenotice mostly simple white with grey use light colors and black and white are just like yup I got your back. Try and make a one if you like then its awesome
Hi Warenoticer, thanks for the feedback! I didn't bring up Picture-By-Picture because that's not something I use since I use the monitor connected to just one computer as an external display. Hope you understand and don't forget to subscribe for more awesome tech videos!
