Pretty much. A 85" TV should be around 42" from the ground to the center of the TV screen. Though this may vary depending on the height of the one watching it. I'm 5.75 ft tall and when I sit on my couch my eye level is at around 42.5" for example. The TV on the video seems to be way too high but I assume that's how the owners wanted it. Honestly it's pretty common for people to have their TVs too high.

The experts would say, men o men why do you buy a good very good tv, and than install the tv much to high.The glossy screen code would do notting now, so wrong one big miror at day time. Its cos nekpain, the screen qualiti is very bad, when you sitting on the couche. You eyes must be in the center off the screen thats the good hight. This very bad, buy then a tv from 600, then its oke. This is what a hardcore high end fan or professional whould say, men o men why is that tv hanging to high. And you can google fot it for the just hight. This is one off the baddest youtube movies on youtube. Spent 50, more or gett info, or google it. Yes, I always like to look straight ahead and not have to crane my neck upwards but then I suppose the TV would look odd mounted lower on a wall.

I didn't really notice any bowing, is it flexing from the sides with the weight? Does it have the slimfit wall mount positions towards the outside of the tv? Maybe the weight would be distributed better that way.

No just buyed the cheapest wallmounth. So stuppit. Buy a sollid one for a 85 inch tv. The bracked on the back is way to thin, thin metal, and the screws in the wall he drilled that 10cm or 12cm scruws to the first wall, witout out any, testing or there electric wires in the wall. Just normal parker screws from ikea. You need woudbold 8mmx80mm whit a 14mm wrench to put then in the wall with good plugs for 8mmx80mm bolds. Thats not how you must do such a thing. Cheap wallmouth, cheap why not lett do the real propper installation men or company do such things. Not on the i don't no way, the ikea way, that screem cost you all a headdeg, because when you sit on the couch your eyes must line out in the middel off the screen, not 2 meters higher, thats why the screen is like a mirror, i thought the buyed the Samsung QE85QN85B that tv has no good antimirror code on the screen. Bud because the wrong hight you gett more light on the screen and then also more reflexion. Such a shame, such sheap Ikea famely. Then spent some more and lets do the professionals do it the write way. Greetings from a fan.
