@@danteerskine7678 I bought ah battery ONLINE for $17 and I should've got the tools they offered to take the battery, I ain't NEVA had ah smart phone that I had to use Lil screwdrivers designed just for that phone just to switch out ah battery... Then come to find out, I just need ah new charger. But at least I got ah new phone after complaining about my eligibility for ah replacement phone as ah back up if I damage the 1st 1 thought wasn't charging. ☺️
LOL..was on step 3 of youtube video on replacing the swollen battery in my old phone that I use around house for Alexa, etc. when it caught fire in a dramatic burst of flames and smoke!!! Ironically, I just cancelled my fire insurance a couple of months ago, but looks like I won't need it thankfully! Had to chunk burning phone out the window with a screwdriver. The window fortunately was without a screen and able to open quickly while the flames roared and thick smoke made alarm go off for a long time. Fumes and smoke not too good for my emphysema either. Haha... For my future reference: I'll forget the repair and get a new one!
I ordered a kit that arrived in the mail on Sunday. it's Tuesday now. I'm trying to change the battery for my Samsung A03s. It's very complicated. The way he simply inserts that tiny ring with the sharp end to pull out the tray does NOT work for this phone. I actually poked the black part and part of the cheap phone just broke off. It's ridiculous and absurd. My battery is bulging. I need this phone for youtube and other purposes. They make everything so complicated. My Galaxy Note 3 is very simple to change the battery, and that was my first smart phone in 2013/2014.
Good demonstration video but due to the increased charge cycles with the big 5000 mah capacity, even in 5 yrs of use, depletion won't be that noticeable
I've had my Samsung A03s for exactly one year and the battery is not charging. I've changed chargers and it still doesn't charge. I need a new battery.

WARNING: I tried to switch the battery tonight. The original battery is so tight and jammed in there, I grabbed pliers and I tried to use it. The battery caught on fire. I threw it out of my hands onto the floor, ran to the bathroom to fill my garbage bin with water, and poured it on the phone. There is a hole in my carpet and I still have ice packs on my fingers. I'm returning the new battery kit I purchased for $23.00 and buying a new phone for business. What a waste. If I didn't move quickly, the fire would have spread fast. My parents were too slow. I was screaming, "I need water."
