Please don't try it. A10 is not water resistant I followed this video and I have never been so careless like this. I'm repairing my screen after I tried using my phone in a pool. I'm paying more than 60% of the phone price for the screen repair

Water resistant isn't waterproof, using phones in a pool will definitely harm you're device due to the fact that the large body of water puts pressure on the earpieces and other small cracks and forces itself in because of the waters weight.

A year ago my phone was Samsung galaxy a10 And my phone fall into bucket filled with water and I took My phone I dried rubbed and pressed the power button it won't started I put in charge I thought it would start but it won't then I went to Samsung service store he said full mobile is destroyed only camera and the battery was working the mechanic said u should pay rs 8,000 to get ur phone work 100% And my father told me we bought the phone in the same rather than that I can afford that phone again But my father refused no mobile is needed now Samsung galaxy a10 was fine mobile I could play pubg smoothly With high frames it's camera was like an iPhone x camera Hit like for Samsung galaxy a10

Just got mine this month to replace a Samsung I dropped and broke. So a part time phone until my next upgrade. I'm over the moon so far. If it carries on this good i won't be upgrading to the new s model. Apart from the camera and the odd BT connection issue with certain devices. I cannot really complain for the price. Great vid btw !!.

Water Ressitant for sure, but i'll warn before hand try to charge it afterwards and your phone will be unchargeable saying it has detected liquids inside! NOT 100% WATERPROOF!

These "shallow water" tests are not very meaningful. First off, putting the phone in centimeters deep water means there is almost no pressure exerted from the water. Flushing the phone under the tap or it being in heavy rain might actually be a worse situation than soaked in a few centimeters of water. You need several seconds at at least half a meter to "prove" anything substantial. Second. I have drowned a couple of smartphones accidentally (boating accident, kitchen sink drop). The water damage is never apparent immediately in the minutes after. It comes hours or even a day after: the camera slowly fogs up, the touchscreen stops working. Then things might recover - or not. My advise would be to keep all phones as dry as possible - especially those without an IP certification.

Although I agree with you I don't think that this is the point of the video, adleast from my perspective I think they are trying to show users that it's okay if your phone accidently falls in a puddle of rain and it won't be broken. Ofcourse you should keep your phone dry and not do experants like this. But yes I do agree with you 😊

Just ordered this phone and wanted to know the pros and cons. I once had a phone accidentally drop in the toilet (it was in my back pocket). Needless to say, it died a sudden death. So glad this it somewhat water resistant, thanks for the video.

@@mharlou30 actually I didn't put it. It just totally an accident that it fell into the water. I would say 90seconds. It made my phone all black on the screen I thought it was off. I decided to get the tray of sd card and memory card out and start to use my mouth sucking all ports.
