It worked to fix my slow charge problem. I used fine tip soldering iron and Flux. This is great info, I would have bought a new phone too early without the info. The screen was 25 usd. Not a bad price.

Great video... I was trying to fix the charger port to no avail. You saved me a lot of headache.

For those who wondering, the laptop in the video is ASUS NX90JQ, circa 2010. Featuring Intel i7 720QM CPU, 18.4 inch screen, 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram, 640GB HDD and a 1GB GDDR3 nVIDIA 335M. Unique laptop indeed and pretty expensive back then.

just brought my dead a32 into a shop for this issue and they gave it back to me after a day with 11% battery, i plugged it in immediately and its still not charging lol. im gonna show them this video and hopefully they'll be able to fix it. i just had them replace the battery last week before this issue started and they still charged me today :( kinda feel like i should get my money back

At what video you mentioned how to test internal resistance of a battery?

This sumsung problem also found in their mp3 players with usb plug. The flex cable connection breaks after retracting the plug many times.

i just had the same problem with my a51 a few days ago and for that charging symbol stuck i remember that i had to change some chip but the problem wasn't the battery it self

I cannot tell you how many of these A's i had to resolder their motherboard's flex connector because it was broken. It seems as if Samsung is using less solder on the base of the + and - of these connectors from all 4 sides and they easily break causing the phone stop charging if one of them breaks, so, i resolder them back and always work just fine unless there is a fault else where as well which usually, most of the time isn't the case. Very rarely the issue is with the flex itself but it happens.

I have this very phone and it fell, so it wouldn't charge, connect to PC and also Mic didn't work. I don't have the repair equipment but I noticed that if I wedge a small piece of carton between the battery and the flex-connector it will charge and do everything else, so I did that and put the cap on again. Now let's see how long it lasts. Thank You.

On samsung A*0 and A*1 series you have to bent the connector aswell.

They also sell the flex cables are replacement, so it can just be replaced also

can u help me with fpc connector on motherboard can't heat it from the back any tips to not melt it?

sorin ive fixed this phone and the issue was all camera is black front and rear without opening i just press hard on the camera front and rear and it fixed it, wondering if the flexing causing some issue with the connectors on the board and i hope the issue will not comeback.

My LG phone does the same thing. What worked is plug the charger into the power outlet and then attach it to the phone. Charges everytime now.

next time sir just use a hot solder iron at the back of the flex and the pins will reflow by themselves, because some times you can burn the plastic in between the pins using hot air

Sorin, the screen on that A32 is cracked across the middle.

That means the battery is swelling and disconnecting or breaking it

I tried to repair my Samsung a32 with a new charging port but it just does the same thing I found a car adapter under my seat and I plugged it in and tried to charge my phone on it and ever since then my phone won't charge it's really weird

common fault on all samsung A & M series....due to flex desingn which goes frm top of the battery..

Lucky me, just bought one of these pieces of crap and the charging port failed in less than a month. And no, I cleaned out the port but it still has the problem. Maybe Samsung should realize that a phone that fails to charge is nothing but a brick...
