Thank you friend. The only video I could find on this seal. Saved me loads. Getting that part in Australia was difficult. Only one supplier online had it that I could find.
Broke all the plastic hooks on the 2 sides when removing the outer part but the 4 screws make sure everything stays in place. You feel no difference and no leaks as that's not where the water is. Great video 👍
So increadibly helpful! Thank you for your investigations! I pulled off the seal by mistake and indeed, I could not find any help with Samsung. Regards from a handy lady from Holland 😉
Thanks for the video. Actually I did exactly the same steps you described, removing the 4 screws, but it didn't seem to want to come out very easily. I didn't want to force anything and get into more trouble than I already was. So I chickened out! I was cleaning around that rubber gasket and noticed a load of gunk was making its was under the seal and even caused a crack and some of the plastic to break. Yours looks similar to ours, but we're in the states and even though I believe ours id newer, they are basically the same. Thank you kind sir for the posting. You have saved me a lot of time, because I thought I had to take the whole glass door gasket off to get at the darn thing. From behind it, I could see 2 screws from behind the add door. I will have to order new plastic inner panel that gasket goes around, but if I can do this in the meantime, we can still use it and have clean clothes for the holidays! Kind Regards, Peter
This helped me, thank you very much sir. What a pain in the arse just to clean the ring! I pulled out the ring to clean it and I have to disassemble the entire door to put back the ring. Thanks again, you saved me a headache and possibly a broken door.
very very good this is only place i could find this do it yourself ,so i followed your iyou should work for samsungnstuctions and fixed the seal ,as for samsung say no more thxs alot you saved me pounds,
I can‘t thank you enough!!! I was trying to clean it and it just came off! Are they kidding us with those stickers?!?!?! 😂 Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you!! I would one thing, the tabs are easy to break and they are on the sides. I would not use too much force and maybe try some gentle heat to help.
The inner window on my Samsung washer has broken. This is the part you are replacing, but I can't find a part number online. Can you provide that? Thanks.
Thank you for this video! It was the only video I found about addwash rubber problems. My addwash rubber got loose and part of it disintegrated inside the drum. Does anyone know where can I buy the addwash rubber seal so I can replace it myself? Thank you!
