TOP TIP: I recommend turning off Brightness Optimisation for a brighter picture. Go to Settings > General > Power Saving and Optimisation > Brightness Optimisation! 👍
An excellent, thorough and well presented review that covers everything you would need to know about this TV. Must admit I'm not a fan of the Samsung brand and the 60hz panel is definitely a deal killer but the overall picture quality seems fair given the price!
Much appreciated for watching and commenting! Not a fan of the Samsung brand? Any particular reason? I think this TV is pretty cool for an entry level 4K one and if you can ever find it cheap it will be an absolute baragin!
@@mcphoney what does the second remote even have? I’ve been going through a bunch of unboxing videos now to look for it lol but can’t find any that came with 2
I just bought the 50 inch AU8000 TV a week ago but it had a defect so I returned it and got the 50 inch Q60B TV instead and wow, the color and clarity is far better compared to the AU8000 TV.
@@Epicgamer5566 the defect? There was a line going through the screen, but since I had both TVs just before I return the AU8000 series TV I compared them both and the Q60B 50 inch TV had more color, contrast, and sharper detail.
Hi there, sorry about the late reply! So ambient mode can be found by pressing the “home” button on the remote and then pressing the left button several times until you come to the ambient mode option. 💪 Hope that helps!
Thanks for watching and commenting! Much appreciated! Yes indeed it does have a on/off button just below the Samsung logo on the right hand side. You can also use the single button to change the source, volume etc. Don’t forget to switch off the auto/brightness optimisation for a brighter picture!
Thankyou! Much appreciated! To be honest I ended up editing a lot of stuff out to keep the run time down, including the built in voice commands (Alexa/Google) looking at the two remotes plus more! Anyhow glad you liked the review! 👌
Does anyone know how to get the list of apps to appear in the quick settings menu when I press the Settings/123 button? I’ve seen the apps list appear in other videos about this tv but when I press it all I get are the settings options or list of numbers.
Hi. I bought one of this and I'm not particularly satisfied with it and I'm planning on return it and buy another one, and obviously I want a better one. Would you be able to recommend me other onr? Thanks.
My sister bought this not too long ago. She loves it. Now she’s not a tech head like I am. And there are obviously better tv’s on the market. But for what it is, it’s an excellent bargain. It’s inexpensive, not cheap. Big difference.
The tv does well for gaming however disappointingly it doesn’t have HDMI 2.1 and it’s maximum refresh rate is 60htz. However gameplay does still look stunning thanks to the “game mode” feature! The Samsung AU9000 supports HDMI 2.1 though!
@@mcphoney I am going to get a new LG TV with hdmi 2.1 120 fps VRR everything that supports the ps5 not good enough samsung I should have got a gaming TV never knew would get a PS5 cos none was available never mind. Would a better tv make any difference?
