Can you explain further how the accessory cradle charges the extra battery? Do both the cleaning station and accessory cradle need to be plugged into the wall? Or does the accessory cradle plug into the cleaning station?
Love your review, i ended up buying one from Samsung. I have had mine for over 4 weeks and have vacuumed extensively around the home (every day) with 2 cats plus vacuum two cars, one of which hadn't been vacuumed in 2 years, the bag is only 1/2 to 3/4 full now.
I was in the same mindset but It's well and truly worth every penny. I've vacuumed extensively for over a month in a home with 2 messy cats, two cars (one of which hasn't been vacuumed in 2 years) and outdoor carpet on the deck. The bag is only 3/4 full now. The next bag won't fill as quickly because now that the cars and home have had a major cleanup all I need to do is touch up vacuums.
Thank you very much for this great review! I purchased the green version with two batteries included. The price here in Germany is about 600€ (tax & shipping included) in November 2023, still a lot of money. So tired of using my old, corded Miele vacuum. Two cats make a lot of dirt (cat litter & hairs). So I am very curious how this upgrade gonna perform. Best regards, Tobi
Another great video! Thanks a lot!!! And I personally think that this is BY FAR the best looking vacuum station out there! The next closest would be Miele triflex, i think... Looks are important to me.🤗Would have loved the mopping test though My dream vacuum atm
Hello there. As a person looking specifically to see how it handles pet hair, I'm a little sad you didn't show how the head looked after vacuuming the pet hair :/ The machine I have now is horrible with the hair, and I don't know much about vacuum heads to really know what to look for. Would be nice to find one, where the hair doesn't clog up the whole head after each use. In either case, thanks for the review. Very well in-depth.
Thanks! At this point, I don't think we'll have a best vacuums for 2022 list, but I do plan to do a video early in 2023 for best vacuums and best robots.
I watched this video a few weeks ago. I was just wondering if there was anybody out there that actually SUFFERS FROM DUST ALLERGIES? I bought my very first stick vacuum a few weeks ago (Dyson v12). The main problem I have is that every time I empty it, and especially when I have to clean it out, it sets off my dust allergies and asthma! I'm disabled with chronic illnesses/pain, and have barely been able to use my heavy Meile vacuum these past few years. I'm astonished at how deeply the v12 cleans, so am over the moon with that side of things. I have been using it in 5-20 minute bursts, which is fantastic too. It's so quick and easy, from that point of view, although I do still find it hard, but that my illness/pain. The Samsung unit that I'm intetested in is so much more expensive, and I have NEVER actually read any comments anywhere, about people using it, who suffer from dust allergies! Anybody??? Thanks
The difference between Dyson V12 and the Samsung Bespoke / Miele is all about the dust bag. Dust bag keeps the dust better contained than a bagless will, which is especially important for someone in your situation.
Thank you so much for your fantastic reviews. I am currently trying to decide between the Samsung Bespoke Jet and the LG CordZero all in one. I have hardwood and tile floors with rugs and between my long hair and my dog, there is a decent amount of hair shedding! I was initially going to get the LG, but it seems as though the Samsung might do a slightly better job on hardwood at a lower price point. Otherwise, other than LG having the app, which I don't think I will use much, they seem to provide a similar performance with similar attachments. Was there anything to set one apart from the other? Thank you!
I do think the Samsung is the better choice. In terms of total performance and usability, they are very similar. The biggest difference is the quality of sealed system between the vacuum (ie, keeping dust fully contained within the dust bin). We just recently started doing this sealed system test and we were shocked by the poor performance on the LG. You can see examples in our recent best cordless vac vid here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2jy48AWgA-w.html Suffice to say, LG's sealing was incredibly poor, whereas the Bespoke had great sealing. For this reason, I'd go Bespoke over LG.
It really is just a question of the base. Do you want the self empty base? If so, Bespoke. If you'd rather save a couple hundred bucks then go V15. In terms of performance, run time, suction, etc. they are very similar. So it's all the about the usability differences.
@@ModernCastle in the uk, a famous reviewing website has this vaccum as their top cordless. They DID mention that it doesn't pick up "fibres" very well though. Due to my ill health, my house is extremely dusty, so I went for the Dyson v12, which I'm regretting now. Lots of niggling problems.
Nice video. Thank you for all the info. Does the Jet Dual brush vibrate when you use it? Ours does and we just bought it. Nothing seems to be wrong, it's working great but that just seemed odd to me.
Both were great vacuums in our tests, but in my view, the Bespoke Jet is the clear winner between those 2. Slightly better cleaning performance and just the overall design felt better, in my view.
hey im trying to find a compatible ac power supply for the charging stand. can you tell me the specs on the ac power supply that shipped with the vacuum? thanks.
I think it's more the children spilling cereal that I'm worried about. But absolutely, if it's a home full of adults some of my tests aren't the most relevant.
More hygienic cleaning as fewer particulates / dust / dirt can escape when you empty the dust bin by going from bin to bag. TLDR - Bagged vacuums are better for allergies / asthma
So is there any room on the accessory cradle for the optional heads (mop and slim action brush)? Also, do you think the slim action brush is worth an extra $150, or is the standard dual good enough for hard floors?
You guys are getting it bad, in uk we get the slim head included and currently theres a promotion to get the bespoke jet for £297 and with the optional spray spinning mop its £376 which is what i ordered
Samsung: How can we bring bagged vacuums back but make it incredibly expensive? Also Samsung: Use an already overpriced "modern" stuck vacuum, put the bag in a charging station, and we can charge $800!
