I understand and feel this completely. I lost my dad a few years ago and there wouldn't be anything in this world that I won't do to just hear his voice once again! I saw this ad in 2018 itself, but i am watching the ad again with jaby's reaction... The background music in the ad still give me GOOSEBUMPS, the song and the lyrics itself are very emotional, hoped to have a subtitled one so that jaby could also understand what the lyrics mean...

Ikr, My mom passed away when I was 6. Didn't even dream about this option then. Well, that was long ago. Now I work on these Machine Learnings and Artificial Intelligence. Apart from that, we had Ovi maps in Symbian 3 (Nokia 8 and others) where we could record our voices for directions. And this one here, usually the voice is synthesized. They don't record everything. AI assistants usually just read out the sentences given to them. These sentences are mostly in XML like format where there are different parameters like tempo, pitch, etc which controls the emotions of each part of sentences so as to sound them more human like.

I am crying bcoz i lost my mother 2 months back... Hope today i can get this technology so that I can feel the presence of my mom every single day for the rest of my life.... It sounds creepy but I am finding no way to cope up with the loss and going into stress, anxiety and depression

This one really hit me hard. I understand why Jaby is so emotional. My dad fought a long battle with paralysis and finally passed on around 3 years ago. I would have loved to have any piece of my dad's personality live on too.

As I get older and 60 looms ever closer, this video has me thinking of my own mortality. I have no children but I do have a godchild (age6) that is very dear to me. I wonder the value of leaving future birthday wishes or holiday greetings...sometimes time changes the sentiment of the moment. Will my messages become just a sad reminder that I am no longer here...after all life goes on. My parents are aging as well and one day will be gone...I also lost a younger sister 22 years ago...often I think that I would give anything just to hear her voice again. At the end of the day...all we are left with are memories...may we cherish them forever.

Loosing someone who we love is tough and is part of life things like this make character. And as soon as we accept the situation the healing start. Hearing the voice of the lost loved one will not help you heal through the pain it simply delays it.

Dear Jaby, at the end of the add there is a logo of the foundation Asha Ek Hope foundation for MND patients in India, with which Samsung collaborated for this project. I am vice chairperson of the managing committee of this foundation. MND is in fact a fatal disease, the diagnosis is a death sentence with average lifespan on 3 to 5 yes after diagnosis. We are glad that Samsung took this initiative and that you reviewed it. I hope it helps to create awareness and helps those suffering from MND.

I felt what your feelings was and are brother and u are unmistakably right, because some times no matter how much u hate them, disagree with them or having your own kind of differences with each other, that eventually you'll miss them in some or all ways, it can be their voices, acts or yells or the way how they did or do their things, beside that they're alive or passed, is just enough to be far from them and that is by itself enough to so that u eventually feel that, it happens for me like all the time despite the times that I wished I was in that moment or time away but It will happen, so yeah I admire the effort that is Samsung and Google putting on it, to do things like that and sorry 🙏 for your losses man, good bless u and your family, peace be with & on you 🙌.

I lost my dad two years ago and we were very close..he was my hero...but saw him die slowly everyday...and I could do nothing but stand and watch....he was terminally ill...he stopped talking and moving in the later part of his life...so I started filming him everyday before he lost his speech and voice....so now I can see him and at least hear his voice once in a day....yeah it tears me apart knowing that I can't touch him or hug him or listen to him or hold his forefinger and go out for walks like we did when I was a kid but yeah at least I can see him and hear him in those videos so that I can remember every part of him and appreciate him for the best he did for his family.....so yeah I think samsung came up with a brilliant idea for keeping the bond between parents and their children intact and strong....because no matter what the relation between parents and their children is something that words ain't enough to describe....

I lost my mom when I was six. She had Cancer. I don’t even remember her sound and I feel guilty for not remembering her voice. I can’t even remember her face tbh. And I am so happy to see these technologies helping others. This is a really great thing.

The pain in us after the death of a loved one is the medicine that helps one to move on. If its suppressed by technologies such as this, these suppressed feelings may play out against us in the long run. So it's better to go through that pain, even if difficult

I grew up in an era of bulky vhs ? recorders, that were also expensive to own. So i just have memmories of many of my family who have passed away, in this modern times with smart phones, we can have video's of fun times and see a person speaking. I know it's life yes, that some move on to the other side, but its not easy, even with many years passing. I just hope i never loose my memories. I just feel a bit calmer to watch your reaction video's and listen to you all debate and express your feelings. If the little girl feel's comfort from her mother's voice, then yes = so be it. Emotions can lift us all up, or at times lower us down. thanks i enjoy to watch.

You can just use Google Assistant on a Samsung phone instead of Bixby which is much superior to Siri. First time I'm seeing Siri being one of the selling points.
