Samsung learns from its mistakes! One UI and their adaptation of Snapdragon processor show how concerned samsung is for its user experience and I feel like samsung is building a great ecosystem for its users.
Agreed there was time when samsung ui was worst.. But Samsung improved their ui and it the best smartphone Android UI.. And it has focused on updates...
Your video quality is keep on increasing, much better than those tech channels who have millions of subscribers. Keep uploading videos. Love you brother
@@mrtechpedia can you make a video on 1second hand smartphone and refurbishe smartphone 2 old stock of Smartphone ( jo old hone ki vajah se nhi bikte)
Google's partnership with Samsung makes strategic sense. It is among the few organizations with a strong product ecosystem that has a global presence. Most other Android ecosystem players don't have a strong global presence in terms of product penetration across segments. Finally, Google is a software as a service/advertising company first and a phone manufacturer later (hardware sales are a miniscule part of its overall revenue). As for Exynos, Samsung needs to work really hard to make their SoCs competitive again. If AMD can do it then so can Samsung.
One thing I like to put on your remark regarding iMessage being a big deal outside of India. It's partly true. It's a big deal in mostly in USA and to lil extent in certain Western countries. WhatsApp is more universal messaging app across rest of the World including India.
One thing I'd beg to differ with you, with all due respect to your research, Pixel's camera is far more reliable than Samsung's. Only the Ultra models have the best camera setup in Samsung's line-up, which are crazy expensive, where all Pixel phones have almost similar photography experience. Moreover, with most updates, Samsung's camera performance fluctuates. At least that have been the case for my s20. I don't know if that's the case with Pixels too. But I haven't heard anything like that from Pixel users. Maybe you can make a video on the long term camera performance comparison.
My galaxy M21 came with Samsung Messages, but I switched to G Messages. It's not as optimized on every Samsung device as you mentioned but it's still practically better :)
Samsung can give you features but not the stability and dependability of pixel, I used Galaxy S10e and Pixel 3a, and in the end upgraded to pixel 6a not a Galaxy s22 because of their software in day to day life, Yes pixels are niche product in India because still a lot of people haven't used it as most see specs only. I was very much tempted to get a S23 because of awesome deals in exchange of my S10e but I'll rather wait for next pixel to make my decision as Sammy is not going anywhere, there will be S24,25 and so on but can't say the same for Pixie. And stock Android experience is second to none so google is also here to stay along with Samsung for sure, but I agree its a win-win for Android and we Android users. Cheers Mate.
I have used google pixel 4a and it's such a shit of a phone, always lags, hangs for literal 1 minute for clearing notifications, doesn't allow screen mirrroring and hdmi output from usb, stupidest phones ever. Samsung is a lot better in stabiltiy "NOW", even my cousins Google pixel 2xl after a year(the idiot who recommended pixel).
I think you missed out big time not opting for s23. Sure the s22 was quite underwhelming but with exynos removed getting s23 would had been a massive upgrade.
Just one question why you don't have a Mil+ subs dude, amazing content and hats of to the production team to get such indepth information of these tech conglomerates. Hatss offf bro!!!!!!!!!!!!
You forgot to mention in order to have a good relationship with Samsung, galaxy phones have even more characteristics of duality, you have google photos and their own gallery app, play store and Samsung store, google messenger and Samsung messenger, Samsung internet and google chrome and even for cloud storage you have google drive and one drive, this deteriorates the consumer experience.
Every smartphone company tries to be good in their own way But the companies which are in leading should partner with other nice brands & should share the technology. For example: *Samsung should also partner with oppo & bring the fast charging (only just 66w or 80w is enough). *Samsung should bring ir blaster, alert slider to the Samsung phones. *Samsung should bring fastest ultrasonic finger print sensor like the vivo & iqoo lastest flagships which asks us to scan the finger once or twice & that's it finger is registered and the unlocking is super fast. *Samsung should bring 3d tof sensor & air gesture front sensor which was seen Huawei flagship phones. *Samsung should bring some changes or make the UI fast. The camera shutter Speed is slow and also UI responding time is slow sometimes. And also Samsung should bring camera & others features from other smartphones brands, the camera features & different options in camera, and other settings, etc. *Samsung should bring Dolby Vision support to the display & Hi-fi audio certification & Samsung should bring good haptic motor sensor like the OnePlus. Huawei flagships were so nice and if they aren't banned, then they also would have competed with the current smartphone market.
Yes, the Samsung -Google partnership has really improved the samsung phones. A few years back enthusiasts would only diss Samsung. 5 years back, I wouldn't think twice before getting a Motorola or OnePlus over a Samsung. But now the whole scenario has changed 180°. But in India, Apple is also playing a damn good game by reducing the prices of the base iPhones. Whatever, as a customer, I'm happy that there's no safe monopoly for one brand at this point. Apple, Samsung, Google everyone is trying hard which is good for the customer.
Samsung not this time as early participant in Google that reason as Android Samsung as best Android dominants Samsung spreading power of Android they developed best of Android experience usability and productivity Samsung giving costomised Android experienced
Very informative video with deep insights. As all your videos has been. But your video production quality has improved exponentially. Nice transition @1:50
5:29 now Samsung Messages be discontinued and new devices will come with Google Messeges only. users can install Galaxy Messeges but with some features down cut
Watching on tab s6 lite which i brought in 2020 and surprisingly it got Android 13 update .....n the ram management got better the ui more smooth...... even though it is not a high end device...
Google is itself destroying by using tensor...recently tried pixel 6a damn heating battery drain crazy ..Samsung is currently on path by using 8 gen 2 instead yhier crappy Exynos
Atleast I have felt that Samsung One UI is far more usable compared to default android UI in moto or pixel phones...My first smartphone(smartphone) was Moto, then Pixel and now Samsung...I hated One plus as the display looked faulty in One plus phones...
No you depicted one part of the picture. Samsung also helping google by providing their finest hardware. Display. Processor and camera lenses and many other parts samsung has provided that made pixel 7 and 7 pro a competitive device. Now Exynos is only a bad thing which samsung has ditched himself. Google surely need to come out of these Exynos to come with best Android experience ever.
Bruh i have never owned a pixel but im its one of the biggest fanboy. Alag he ishq h bhai pixel devices se .Currently i bought redmi note 12 pro for 22k budget 20k tha jisko stretch kiya 22k taki isme aane wle time me Pixel experience use kr sku , im currently an engineering student , in future when i will be placed my next device will be pixel .
I guess my guys forgot that google's best selling product is android not Pixel Phone, since pixel phone are alreqey not doing well so google knows what to do,so it's a win win case for google since android is getting famous.😂
It is duty of Google to give special service to samsung or otherwise samsung may come with its own operating system . Samsung has also warned Google about it
Samsung gives both Samsung Massages and Google Massages But set Google Massages as default You can find Samsung Massages in Samsung Folder in app drawer and set it default
Lets get the facts straight - Google is the software company first, mobile manufacturer last, yes, last. Samsung on the other hand mobile manufacturer first, there are not a software company or even trying to become a SAAS. So, even Pixel doesn't sell well, Google will ditch it in future as it just another project for them and move on. It is not same story for Samsung. They have to become the very best in the Android world, otherwise they won't even make a dent on Apple's monopoly in $1k+ segment. Don't get confuse between these two. Google never even wanted to offer something called "Flagship" device. Except the camera and stock OS, what's in there to call the Pixel a standalone flagship model? So, there is no competition between two different entities of the market. They are trying to end Apple's monopoly. Really.
Hey TechPedia, can you also make a video on how Google's Nearby Share is now integrated into Samsung's Quick Share? Because I'm literally not able to send anything over it from a Samsung to non Samsung phone or vice versa, it never shows any device nearby nor does it turn on location sometimes automatically. Please I'm so much frustrated, nearby share worked like a charm even though it had some issues. But this is worst.
from pop up calls to multi window samsung gets all the new features first then rest of the android phones since they started S series and note series when google was not into selling phones
I have samsung s8 and it have one ui and i love it so much that now its not possible for me to shift to samsung s23u bcz its too costly.😢 and thats why i am using it for past 7 years
If you look at this development from the viewpoint of devices alone, then you are probably 100% correct. But another factor to be considered is that Google gains more control over the software experience in a Samsung device than Samsung itself will have. Also, Google is primarily an Ads and software company, and till now, has been most comfortable with only that. So getting more software space within Samsung enabled it to gain more/better access to user data, to improve its AI and other services. And Google mostly doesn't mind throwing away its hardware business if the purpose has been fulfilled or doesn't seem to benefit that company anymore. So I'd actually think that Samsung is on the backfoot here in the long run.
