Great way how to spend more money than replacement part costs... :) This middle part is around 10 euro. Anyway, video about how to dissasembly was great and realy helpful... thumbs up

Thanks a lot for this video - I didn't know how to disassemble these plastics, but now it's clear. In my washing machine, the plastic part attached to the glass cracked quite similarly after a few years (and certainly no one stepped on it 🙂) - the first symptom I noticed was a slight leak, there were a few drops of water in the bottom of the door after washing and the reason for this was not clear . Until a piece of plastic just fell off, I suspected a gasket problem. All these plastic parts can be bought, disassembly and assembly instructions are in your videos, so now I can get to work. 😁

We have an eco bubble - The lock is broken. I am able to remove the door and prise apart the plastic rim around the glass - all except in the quadrant of the lock and a small hole in the plastic rim. Any tips how I can proceed from here? The single screw by the hinges is easily removed. There are no other screws.

Have you tried unplugging the machine and plugging it back in again?

Owen, it's a keeper but we need to know, can you take that stupid door out, seal up the hole with a piece of aluminium and fool the sensors. It's important, cheers

I think the only thing to do is to pay full price for factory original parts and get the machine back to as new condition. For now it is working just fine gobbed up with silicone. Lit the range yesterday. Winter is coming! Giving the new stove it’s first lighting now.

@@bootsowen yes! In the corner it has a touch button that Says, Smart Control you instal the Smartthings app and you connect your Washing machine and you can add it to the app and control it from your phone! You can check How much time is left, if there is an error. Hope this helps!

@@bootsowen yeah it’s like if you are some where else, like you are at work and you put on a load of laundry, and you want to know the status/time left on the machine, so you can check the app on the go! And it notifies you if your machine has an error.

They have made an even WORSE version of this door btw. Imagine if you couldn't reach the interior part where the rest of the screws were that held plastic to glass. Imagine how terrible that would be, that's the current design, so they only whack in 2-3 screws and it leaks like shit down the front from the factory!

Hi, Dave! I have this "even worse" version unfortunately and it is leaking. Somehow the water gets in between the two glass parts. Besides the horrible limescale stains that I cannot clean, It leaks as well. Do you have any idea if this can be fixed and how? Is there a way to take off this front glass cover that they added to the newer design? I do not see any cracks, so not sure how the water gets in there.

This add-wash feature is stupid and useless. This plastic add-door part is cheap garbage. How important it is to add more laundry when program is already running? Samsung! I'm disappointed again about your inventions. Please make basic products that lasts more than couple of years.

You think this is bad, they made a version fo this where they only put in 3 screws and ignored the rest. So it leaked from the factory. They did this because they redesigned the front plastic bit to COVER that area so during assembly it couldn't be reached anyhow!
