I've got one of these and for the money it's absolutely brilliant. Never had any problem casting from my phone and also you can manually adjust keystone and shift the picture both left and right.
@@benjaminbutcher You have to set keystone to manual and then you can move it quite a bit to the left and right. Miracast works 100% of the time with my Samsung S20 FE. I also have a Freestyle 2 and whilst that does have better picture and way better sound I find I use my MagCubic HY300 more because I use it in bed on the ceiling. I can't shift the picture much on Freestyle 2 so it's always off to the side of my bed. For the money the MagCubic punches way above it's price. You can even plug in a usb stick or Fire Stick. 👍
@@MingTheMelon Are you talking about gaming? I'm not sure as not used it for that. But for watching netflix in bed on your ceiling it's worth the money alone. I plug a Google Chromecast in to mine - Fire sticks work well also.
Loved it that youtubers are starting to add the environmental/social aspect to the reviews. Having worked at a sweatshop like environment, public pressure helps to force positive changes , even if reluctant from the bosses. Keep it up!
Woukd my Xbox one look good on this can anykne confim? Im starting to get a burn patch on my lebs and looking for a nice uograde. I work away quite alot too if thats of any help. Also is the rotation good enough to watch movies on the ceiling in bed good? Thanks anyone
hi! I’ve recently got it and it is ok, although something weird happens when I watch stuff: the scale of what I’m watching is fine, but I can still see the surrounding frame is out of proportion, despite the keystone being manually adjusted (I can’t see the frame when I’m on the home screen ). Any clue of what it might be? Cheers!!
Based on what you’re describing it sounds like the outline is really just an inescapable side effect of projecting something onto the wall. Remember: your projector can only adjust with the its maximum frame of projection. That means that there will likely always be places that it isn’t projecting. That said, it’s basically just blacking out the places it can’t project. Hence the residual frame.
@@benjaminbutcher thanks for your reply! That would make sense, but my main issue is with the shape of this shadow. Someone suggested it’s the angle the projector is working from, so I’ll try and adjust it around a bit! Hope you have a nice year, cheers!
I'm wondering if there's a website/forum dedicated for modding these because for a shit lot of android devices like tv/boxes/streamers/car stereos/sat units etc can be modded with cool features/apps/interfaces
@@benjaminbutcher Yea, the levels of obfuscation of the native res of these no-name brand projectors has gone beyond the point of parody. There's just no way to trust even the sellers, because the manufacturers aren't honest with the sellers either. That being said, I will probably hold off, because after 8+ years with a supermarket DLP 480p miniprojector, I'd rather have a reliable and substantial upgrade.
I noticed on the Amazon product page it says you can’t cast to it via Bluetooth from any devices, but you were able to get it to accept media from your iPhone/macbook. I’ll probably only use it for my switch/PC but that’s good to know.
Yeah... I should really emphasize this: It seems that product quality varies really widely. If you look at other comments, your device may not function or even run the same software as mine did.
can you charge this beamer and use is completely wireless? I ask because I want to show movies in remote locations and don't want to use a generator for electricity
I'm looking for this, mainly to use it for my lessons in class so that I don't have to carry that big and heavy one to present to my learners. All I wanna use it for is to connect to my laptop and display some notes on the screen. Is it worth buying it?
yeah so as long as you have an HDMI cable it should be fine. Based on what I'm hearing, the software it ships with is so inconsistent that your best bet is just a cable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have it but, I can't connect my Bluetooth and the QR code to connect wireless doesn't exits. If I use screen mirror Netflix doesn't work and apple tv just works as a speaker for some reason. How did u connect your cellphone to the projector??
Hi Lorraine! You can watch anything on this one provided you have almost any Apple smart device. An iPhone, Macbook, iPad or even an old iPod touch should be able to use airplay to connect to the projector.
This guy didn’t know what he bought, so his fault, he needs to be smart to get the right included android 11 support so he could stream videos from tablets or smartphones
Your experience might? Be different, but if it’s like mine this device would only be useful to you if you connected it directly to your device using an HDMI cable
I just got mine from Ali Express. I have no trouble using the HDMI cable with my Windows 10, but i couldn't get any of the apps to connect with my WIFi directly with my Motorolla phones.
Unfortunately, my voice was disfigured in a horrible cheesemaking accident! And as regards my western propaganda, you're right! I renounce it entirely! I see now that I was a fool. What hubris! What a chicanorous dealings I have perpetrated! I should have only talked about the product and kept my propaganda to myself! 😔😔😔 Thank you for setting me straight. You've really changed the direction of this channel.
Hey there! If you swipe down from the top right of your iPhone there should be screen mirroring button. If you have the wireless connection page open on your projector you should be able to see it when you select screen mirroring on your phone.
