I'm just now switching from 1080P to QHD and I can't decide. I was thinking of the Samsung in this video, the Gigabyte you mentioned, or the MSI G274QPF-QD. Usage is completely general ~30% reading, 30% internet browsing (yt, twitch), 30% gaming (SC2, D4)
when enabling the mbr response time option, the max brightness gets halved, that is probably why you found the monitor so dim. try switching it to fastest.
Just returned home and found my monitor face down and my fat cat looking at me. Luckily I found a guy near me who's selling this exact monitor for 150 bucks in (he says) perfect condition. I was kinda sus because of the price but seems he just wants to upgrade.
@tim1843 are you sure? I'm almost sure mine can go completely dark. IIRC, if you have the right settings all you gotta do is to click the button and turn the monitor off; no more blue led light.
Great job! Since the 27 and 34 have almost identical specs aside from the size of the monitor itself, would you recommend the 34? I am torn between the 34 G55t or the 32 G65b. Thanks very much!
I have 32 inch. Is the same. A good monitor. Be very careful when you mount the stand. It is made of poor plastic, and you can damage the monitor when you push the stand in.
@@hem94_ yes , it is. For it's price. The only downside is the poor plastic in it's composition. Be very careful when you mount/unmount the stand, it has a strange contraption. When you do this, don't push it in with your hands on the display. Rather mount the stand when the monitor is in its box. When I first mounted it, I pushed too hard and after 2 months the display began to fall of slowly. The Samsung service replaced the display, and since then, 3 years ago, it is fine and dandy.
5:32 my issue is that monitor has 60hz and 100zh only it the g5 34 ultrawide G55T it not mine he was shook when he saw mine his 144hz, 120Hz ,60hz so when I searched about his model it showed the the monitor has actually 165hz does anyone know who to fix it ? Playing on Ps5 .couldn’t find anything about it
@@Sohidden I eventually got Gigabyte G27QCA 2x, they have Freesync, but run very good with my G-Sync RTX 3060 ti. The colours and performance is very good and I finally found the sweet spot for eye comfort
Of course you would want it to be brighter cuz you are mistaken to use Fastest MBR it reduces the arlaedy low brightness. !! turn it off and turn on freesync it makes everything smoother . Fastest MBR creates screen tearing and low brightness
I appreciate your video. I know I'm a little late to when you posted it. But, I'm looking at getting this monitor and your video popped up. I am a photographer, actor and gamer. I got a Samsung monitor but didn't research it for all that I would need. And it's a low end one on top of that. As well as, I didn't realize I needed a specific monitor to turn on FreeSync with my RX 7000XP. WTH?! I mean, that's messed up to me. That literally "forces" someone to get a monitor brand/model. I hope that goes away and both AMD and Nvidia are "forced" to make something universal. But, I digress. It's great to see someone that does content creating (I plan on making some indie movies) and is a gamer. I too am looking for a monitor that can handle both without having to pay a month of rent or so. LOL Thanks so much for this insightful vid. Most I've seen don't do this. And your video is practical and for the "common" user. Cheers! Good luck with your channel! SUB
