why don't you glue the speaker when you replace it?

I think the unit had some sticky. That is why. You can always use little glue

any help i can get will be appreciated? I replaced an LCD for a12 that came in the frame. While doing so I had to transplant all the old parts to the new LCD, but when I completed the work, the loudspeaker sounds distorted (extremely loud bass and unclear sounds) any idea as to wat could've went wrong or can you provide a guide on how to troubleshoot and resolve issue? also please note that I've tried to replace the speaker with other speakers from other phones such as a20, a50 and a30 and they all play sounds with the same level of distortion/noise

Normally loudspeaker issues are very rare. The part is. It fragile too.best way is replacing with a new unit.. if it still happening needs to start with hard reset by backing up.

Same here perfect change of lcd with frame but after the louspeaker became distorted.

I know this is so late, but i jus changed one myself with the same issue and discovered what the issue was: there is a thin mesh on the loudspeaker. During transport to the new phone, that mesh may get stuck in the old assembly. If you do not transport that piece to the new phone, it will rattle. Also, be sure to tighten screw down securely and this will resolve this problem.

My phone has been dropped into oil and the loudspeaker and handset microphone do not work. Do you have a video for the microphone replacement as well

@@DIYGeardo yes. Can hear person on call on handset, but the mic doesn't pic up my voice. They can hear me on speaker phone, but the speaker is too muffled to hear the person

@@PK48C Replace the charging port board and Loudspeaker.Microphone is on the charging board.
