Samsung Galaxy A14 Honest Review - Don’t Make a Mistake! 

My honest review I’ve been using the Galaxy A14 5G from past 1 month as per the price range it’s really good phone and the performance is pretty good

This phone has a flagship design,one UI,6.6" display 90hz refresh rate,50MP camera,micro SD, headphone jack,5000mAh battery, good chipset and all Samsung additional features. Sincerely what else do you expect from a budget

Compared to the A13 5G, the A14 5G is a Solid Upgrade. You get more storage, a better processor, a solid camera, and First Class Software for under $250. With only Motorola and Nokia offering competition here in the U.S. the A14 5G is a Solid Value as a Budget Phone

I am using this phone from last one week. It is doing great job in camera department. Video calling is fab on it. call quality is excellent and mobile signal catching ability in rural area is far better than Chinese mobile phones. RU-vid browsing or internet usage is great on it. Battery is ok for one day usage. Who is having more time for playing games all the time. Samsung did a great job with it. Lcd display is great on it.

I think ditching 5G might still be a good idea as many companies skip features to make a 5G phone. 4G+ is good enough for almost anything you do with a phone. I rather have an OLED screen than 5G!

With the A12 and A13 being pretty good value budget phones, especially the A12 when it first came out, I am surprised Samsung made such a miss with the A14. Some of those specs are not up to 2023 standards, especially the 4GB RAM and LCD screen (though 90Hz is nice).

My brother is using it .. for 1 month.. good UI AND HE IS SATISFIED

Right now I have A12 32gb and it is pretty much enough for me and the model A14 looks just great and I would not complain about those things you mentioned in video. It is of course my opinion with almost no standards but with everyday use and multi tasking I think both phone would be great 😅 But thank you a lot for this video it was a huge help

This is not an honest review. This is a budget phone, which sells for $200 in the United States. You are expecting a phone like this to perform like a flagship phone. This phone is not meant to be used for heavy gaming. This phone would be fine for basic everyday use. Also, 64GB of storage should be fine for most people. I am still using a 2019 Samsung Galaxy A10e, which has 32 GB of storage and I am only using 25GB of the 32GB. The A10e has given me no problems and this A14 would be an upgrade. If you want a phone with all the bells and whistles, then feel free to spend $500-$1000 for a phone, which I would never do. Also, Apple doesn't include chargers anymore for their overpriced phones.

Watched this vdo from my Galaxy A14 5g 6/128 version and trust me this budget Samsung phone is very good in all aspects between 15k to 20k budget with brand and trust value...

The first mistake is don't buy any samsung phone after launch. Wait for 3-4 months, gradually prices will go down.

One thing I've noticed in these past years is that Gadgetbyte started out as a youtube channel reviewing phones from Nepal for the Nepalese people but nowadays everything is focused towards the indian audience be it showing the Indian price and the comparision with other models that are found in india and not in nepal I hope they would atleast make a separate table showing the Nepalese data too rather than just the Indian one.

I switched from my A20e to the A14 a week ago and i am very happy with it. The Design is good (big bright screen, 3 cameras, back feels good and the black frames aren't noticable). I use my Phone for a lot of things and even the 32 GB / 3 GB on my A20e still worked out fine. Next to that it is a budget phone (165 EUR) with of course is not as good performing as a flagship phone. Also, who has more than 5 Apps open at the same time? It also has 15watt fast charging and runs for almost 2 days without a Charge. The camera is also nice. In my opinion the screen also is amazing with its 90 fps and high resolution. It also has a long software support as it is very new. So overall i strongly disagree with it being a bad phone and would absolutely recommend it.

I hate to watch this kind of videos... If you don't love the phone, go and produce yours...many people out there loves it like that...the phone is A14 not A53!! If the 64gb is not enough for you...got for the 128 at least it will help

I disagree with you, Samsung Galaxy A14 is better than those chinese brands models, overall better than Xiaomi, the king of the bugs, the model sold in LATAM has: - 90 hz refresh rate. - Full HD+ display - Dolby Atmos (no chinese brands models, except Motorola, in the same range of price, has Dolby Atmos) - 128 GB of internal memory. - 5,000 mAh of battery - Charging speed: 25 W

A thing which most of the people don't say is availability of parts and service. I switched from realme to samsung cuz when the phone got damaged the parts was not available in uk. There is only two things which I didn't like notch and no charger in the box, everything else is fine

We're talking about 140EUR phone, what did you expect? It's a good first phone for your grandparents or kids as you won't cry your eyes out if they lose or break it.

I have the Samsung A14 5G with Dimensity 700, comes with Android 13, get Os's upgrades to Android 15 plus 4 yrs of security updates, the only downside to this phone is it does not come with Knox Security from what I have read its the most widely held Samsung phone out there with 5 G, Samsung will take care of this phone like nobody's business, its a solid phone and does not cost an arm and a leg. The Dimensity 700 chipset is outstanding, on my last phone with 4G I had to be next to my door to get in wifi mode from 4G LTE with the Dimensity 700 I have to be down the block a much much much further distance for it to switch to 5G mode from wifi mode, I don't believe in any tests published just my experiences. I also have the Samsung Tab A7 Lite and its linked to my Samsung A14 5 G and can make calls, do text message, etc, I bought the phone(excellent refurbished) and tablet(good refurbished, although it looks brand new) off eBay-refurbished with 1 yr no cost warranty on each for less than the price of a new A14, may the force be with you !

Honest and unbiased review...On the other hand this Samsung Galaxy A14 is the best selling Android phone in the world. Sold 30 million units. Why is that???

Lot's of people only use the device for webbrowsing, Whatsapp and a banking app. This phone should handle this. It looks clean and has way longer software support then Realme. I bought the Realme 6 in the middle of 2020 and they stopped supporting it long time ago.

I like it because it has a very Bram new screen 😉 and good 👍 and fantastic camera just love this device.

Pros: (1) Android OS 13 released Q3 2022. You get 2 OS updates (->Q3 2024) & 5 Years of security/bug patches. It's a long-term option. (2) Samsung has a large presence in many non-Asian countries and should have reliable customer support + repair facilities close by. (3) 5000mAH battery - GREATER THAN flagship samsung phones - w/ 15w charging support. Good camera, display, and performance FOR ITS PRICE. Conclusion: I would buy an a34 5G or a54 5G if I could afford it right now but this is the HIGHEST QUALITY budget phone I can afford. I'm getting it.

The Samsung A14 5g has been given good reviews pretty much everywhere. You recommend alternatives from Moto & Xiaomi but they'll be lucky to get more than 1 os update and security updates are slow. I'd much rather go with Samsung

Ofcourse i dont agree with you. This is always the worst review. Why are you buying samsung budget phones anyway?if you dont like it dont review it. And by the way your recommmended alternatives will not even last long enough to be considered value for money.

Problem with those alternatives is that they have only 2 years of software support for the same price, albeit a bit better hardware. Thee Chinese phones should be given 2-4 yrs OS updates & 4-5 years security patches if they want to be better alternatives to iphone & Samsung.

I like this phone A14 5g, better than all my other samsung phones which are slightly lower specs like a22 5g. I hardly buy the top specs $2000 samsung phones. A14 5g doesn't have charger and earphones, screen protector, phone cover. I was shocked LOL. I thought there was a mistake. 🧐I tend to buy phones around that margin. But now I understand a14 5g would've cost more for the extra. If it was 400 or 450 I would not have bought it. Got it for $350 AUD on special. just use my previous phone charger for it. I order other extras from aliexpress. 3 or 4 phone covers, screen protectors..

Im using this phone and it works very nice no issues yes slow charging but battery works great

I tried using Alight Motion on A14 and let me tell you, if you love editing, DO NOT BUY GALAXY A14. I experienced the app crashing multiple times. You cannot edit vids on 2160p, If you edit using 1440p resolution, alight motion will result in multiple crashes. Again, DO NOT BUY A14!

Thank you for an actual HONEST review. The multitude of reviews claiming this is the BEST budget phone right now coming from popular tech review websites just made me realize that I can’t trust a word those websites say. Totally agree with everything you said. Another thing that shows how fake and clearly paid off those popular review sites are (ie wired, android police, androidauthority, digital trends, etc) (and also how much Samsung is dropping the ball on their budget phones) were the reviews for the galaxy a23. Although it is not mentioned anywhere on any of these sites, the A23 CLEARLY has a non laminated display. The air gap is super obvious if you’ve ever seen the phone in real life. This is INSANE in 2023. Phones have been getting laminated displays standard for about 10 YEARS now. Yet not only is this not mentioned on any of those sites, they actually PRAISE the horrible display. I will be relying on your reviews from now on, as you’re clearly actually telling it like it is! Thanks again! It’s appalling that they’re selling such a crappy phone for the price they’re selling it for when now there actually are some GREAT budget phones for even less! Only Samsungs S and Z series phones are great. Their budget phones are awful quality, overpriced, and obviously are relying on the galaxy name to sell. And sadly, people are dumb, and it works. I sell phones and I see it every day. I try to convince people to get, for example, the oneplus nord phones, or some Motorolas, etc when looking for a cheap yet decent phone, yet they almost invariably go for the god awful SUPER slow and laggy galaxy a03s despite me telling them how awful it is, just because it has the galaxy name 🤦‍♀️🙄 I think Samsungs flagships are amazing, but everything else is trash and they skimp on specs and quality and sell it to ignorant people who think the name galaxy means it must be good.

You really do *not* want an AMOLED screen on a phone. I know they're nice, but I've seen way too many devices with burned displays after 6 months of use. I still have mine that work flawlessly, sure, but they're never used for that reason. I'm not sure if it's optimization but both the A13 5G (which I have) and the A14 (which I don't have) run the same SoC but significantly different screen resolutions. Since I don't have the A14 to compare with; I used to do heavy gaming on a Kyocera Torque and the Galaxy S3. Both use the exact same SoC but different screen resolutions. When you have a phone, on top of Samsung's customization, running triple the number of pixels it requires triple the amount of power. Still, great review nonetheless and does answer a few of my questions.

Got it for 10,490 for the base variant in Amazon's Great Indian festival after the bank discount. So I think it's a decent phone for the price of 10K

I took it out of the box, drove to my friends house and borrowed his charger because they excluded the component that powers the bloody thing. Finally powered it up, went through every possible update I could do on it. I even tried disabling the virtual RAM setting to reduce latency. The Samsung A14's performance is equivalent to mining Cryptocurrency with tinfoil, thoughts and prayers. Good luck.

Watching on my new A14 after using Lg stylus for 7 years . This phone seems amazing thank you. I will probably use this phone for next 10 years lol.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of AMOLED displays since they're vulnerable and expensive to replace. Safe to say, for a budget phone like that, a PLS LCD is fair enough paired with 90Hz refresh rate. What can you ask for more and when it breaks, it can be replaced on a cheap price.

Thanks GB. The cheapest A14 I found in Canada is $220- + tax and that would be an Open box handset. For $195- I can buy a brand new X Redmi Note-10S here, which has an Amoled display, IR blaster, and stereo speakers and all of the features mentioned above + more. and that is a 2 year old design with a much faster CPU..

This is clearly anti Samsung review, not a honest one. This is the best mobile in the budget range. This review is quite opposite to all other tech reviews. One of the best processors, I was able to play heavy games with high / ultra high settings.

That sucks. It is reasonably priced here in the Philippines and there is only one variant here which is 6GB+128GB but it’s priced similarly to your 4GB+64GB variant. Plus, it comes with a charger. I don’t know what happened with the variant in your region.

Here in America we don't get 6GB ram ram 128 storage model we only get 32gb storage + 4g ram or 64gb storage 4 gb ram and the phone is only Available in black sadly

I don't really find the A14 5G is bad phone at all. From a budget standpoint, its a decent phone with decent performance. It even blows away my former device, the A10s in almost every way. I'm hoping she's not confusing this device with the A14 4G because i heard the latter's performance is slower.

I accidently bought the Galaxy a14 4g without really knowing that the 5g is much better with only 40 euro difference, its a good phone for the things I use it for but sometimes still a bit slow and the camera quality isn't the best

Samsung A14, best phone ever. It was free (for me) and it is only for casual users, not for all the idiots that spend 24/7 on their phones. Casual users have no use for an Amoled screen. Amoled screens suck anyway, too much burn in. You can take this review and shove it.

Your review is really bad You are talking about the phone forgetting the fact that it is 150$ phone!! Darling screen, gaming and watching movies are not our main concern when buying a 150$ phone !! It calls, video calls, whatsapp, facebook, and some other stuff. what more could one want from a phone in this tier??

Had a 23, I liked the A14 5g so much, I kept it, got a 512G card for airplane movies. Never use speaker, have bluetooth headphones and Anker mini speakers for that. Has a 3.5mm phone jack if your in a pinch and forgot you BT headphones, buy a $5 headset. Played basic games good. Screen and camera was fine for this guy.

I had a prime J7 and upgraded to this and I'm happy with it , I only need it for editing

OLED for $200?! Maybe those cheap untrustworthy Chinese brands like Xiaomi. Is the model she's reviewing for her country much more than $200 or something? As for the processor, in North America, we get the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chip, which is good for a $200 phone. Plus 4 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of storage is good for $200. She said it would be bad in 2 years because of the storage, but you can always get an SD card to expand the storage. This is one of the best $200 phones you can get in North America. This review is partly based on competing against untrustworthy Chinese brands, therefore is not a good review. I do agree about it being garbage that there is no charger or more accessories in the box, though.

Based on this review, sure it's a disappointing phone but it I guess depends on the user preferences. I stopped using Samsung Note 4 and have been using Xiaomi ever since.

You do realize that these phones are made for the budget crowd? So if they weren't that good why would samsung make them in the first place people can't afford to drop thousands on a phone every year

Buying samsung A series is quite a Nagotitation because it gives something and take something from hardware and software But they offer nearly all premium feature which they keep for premium phones like samsung knox and oneUI + bringing 5G hardware at this price range need to take something out like AMOLED display and display size I think its a good buy!

Honestly, I'm happy even though it's a budget phone. I still play games pretty well. I didn't buy the 5g version bc it's not worth it, but u can buy 4g with 128 gb

2:44 A22 4G was awesome. But the Ax2 devices didn't make sense. The A22 4G had a better screen than the A32 5G and A42, A72 is 90Hz while A52 5G is 120Hz, you get the picture. 3:12 Also, some regions get the old Dimensity 700, so just be aware what chip you are getting in your region.
