If you are looking at the rear of the screen, at the bottom left there is a small 3 way ribbon that is glued down on the original screen that also needs to be removed and replaced. This part is missing in the video. Thanks for the video, it helped heaps. Cheers
6:39 tip of advice for anyone attempting this, the piece he's removing here has a metal backside and it scratches very easily, so avoid the center as much as possible
After watching this I am just going to buy a new phone. This is insane to make it so hard to replace such a breakable part. Like taking the entire car apart to replace the windshield. Stupid design.
Thank you! .Also I fixed my phone and it worked but then it broke again and it WAS GLITCHING . I changed it again and everything works But the Screen still glitches. Any recommendations on what could have gone wrong??? Either way thank you I learned to fix my phone thru your video and it's saved me money I didn't have
Very happy to hear positive feedback from you guys and fortunately doing something that people get benefits . If the issue is because of the damage then you have to change the screen, if not then reconnect the screen flexes again.
It worked ty. I ran over my wifes phone and the screen was toast. Unfortunatly i have to reconnect the speaker and i somehow reversed the volume up/down buttons. But its done
@@Phonerepairtech77056 do you know why the speaker no longer works? It worked before I took apart the phone.i couldn't find any cables or anything to reconnect

@ericherrera8415 based off the comment above. Says the old screen has a 3 wire strip that is attached to the original screen. It should of been removed with glue and placed on the new screen.
After i did all this when i receive or make calls i cant hear other paerson but they can hear me. What could be the problem? It plays video with sound, but doesn't work with calls. I can hear the other person only when I put on speaker.
Although screws to that phone!! Are they all the same size and not different size? Because I will be replacing the screen on my phone soon as I get the screen for my phone.
Where can I find the 3-way ribbon for the loud speaker because I followed the video and threw out my old touchscreen without realizing it was needed for the loudspeaker?
Thank ls for the vido. My son's phone is back up and running again. The only problem I had is the long black wire came disconnected on me. Itbwas a bitch to get back on.
There are two different screens. I got a 5G phone and ordered the 5G screen and it some how happens to not be the correct one after I Took the whole thing apart. FML. This is why I only replace iPhone screens, why make two different screens or more then 2 diff screens smfh
I've watched probably 6 different videos on A14 5G screen replacement and i have of yet to hear or see anyone address the speaker ribbon!! so frustrating!!
