Informative, well presented and to the point. A relatively simple task demystified. Not I know what to do if my battery craps out. THANK YOU Mobile Service...
WARNING!!!!!!!!! He forgot so remove sim card tray before taking of the frame at 3:55. If you don't do this you can break the moderboard in half while trying to pry it open. Very lazy cut! :/
thanks for posting. 2 minutes in I decided that I'll sell the phone and buy a new one. Why on earth have they done this to phones and not gone with the simple clip on backs?
Hi my phone is that make and I can't power it on power it off and it's brand new the screen has gone grey and I can't press any buttons it is annoying me so much
No screwdriver small enough so used a knife to pry out the old battery. Tried fitted the new one by slamming it in. It popped the top right hand corner of the battery and broke it I think because it didn't turn on lol. Pried out again with a knife and hit the battery connection point causing a spark or two. Would that have definitely shorted it? Haha.
Hello I want to buy a 1 year old a3 2016, do you think the battery is already bad? The person who's selling me the phone says it's good. But I'm not sure. Who has 2016 for a year? Did the battery life drop significantly?
Totally agree! Of course, Samsung could make it easy for us to replace the battery, but they want us to buy a new phone instead. Pretty wasteful (of both resources and money). I never like it when companies design their products with this kind of "planned obsolescence" built in.
Interestingly enough, the lowest end of samsung devices (for example j3 2016) could remove the battery easily. Now of course samsung has ditched the J series as far as I know. Though I own the A3 2016 and A20e
