Great video well done you saved me a bunch of headache by not having to take my phone to a repair shop. I liked how you talked through the video instead of having annoying elevator music playing and explain what you were doing. Again great job very helpful video
That is the BEST detailed video I've watched so far. I dropped my same phone as yours and after the past few months on battling my health condition I haven't had the income to send it out to get replaced. I wanted to see how thos would be done when I will be able to and I really love this video. The bottom front right corner looks like a spider web and now after it being dropped more during treatment it now has a small hole in the screen where the piece of glass came out. I'm hoping this phone will keep working for a little while. I've noticed there has been a slow speed opening web sites and the volume not as loud and clear. Could that be from the cracked up area whatever is around the area of the hole? I was wondering if I could put a piece of tape over where the hole is that I'm not sure how that would work if it would still accept my touch
I had my phone screen broken with my screen not turning on but my phone buzzing like it was on because I dropped it and you guys helped fix it. It did take a month or 2 tho because of COVID restrictions around the world and the stall from California shipping to bring the part you needed😅I am commenting on the same phone you guys helped fix rn and it works like a new phone everyday so far🙂Thanks for helping me and others with their broken phones
Both of the screens, the U and B part numbers work equally well on my phone. It came with the U part number, the one I ordered had the B decided to try it because the return date had passed works great.
There may have been an update because it looks like the SM-A326B may now be compatible with the SM-A326U. I ordered from Amazon and it was listed as A326U but the screen I received is marked A326B and it is working in place of the A326U. Thank you for the guide, very helpful!
thanks you so much for this video I was able to fix my mothers phone for her and only cost £20 for the new screen very helpful step by step video really appreciate it keep up the great content
ANYONE DOING THIS REPAIR WHO ENDS UP WITH THE TOUCH NOT WORKING BUT SCREEN DOES. I have the united states phone and I replaced it according to above only to have the screen work but the touch not work at all. After being pissed and frustrated I noticed that the seller had cleverly colored in the "B" of the A326B screen with a black marker. So it looked like an "A326". Bought a A326U screen and it works flawlessly without a problem One of the questions I didnt see addressed is that the screen and touch should work once you plug in the screen cable only. It wasnt obvious to me that the digitizer cable (cable at the bottom) is irrelevant to the screen touch working. Jose has the screen sideways so you cant see that part. So if your screen works but your touch doesn't its possible that you are rocking the wrong screen as he warned.
Cannot remove the middle outter part it seems like it's glued in. I've removed all 16 screws been using the razer blade to pry it out but even broke off the blade doing so. I don't see how it's so easy for you to remove cannot even get the blade in between.
Anyone have a link to a seller who's actually shipping the U? The one I ordered is being sold as the U buy what I received says B. They swear it's compatible BUT I still have no screen. Phone rings, pings, and, dings... But screen as black as the one I replaced. 😭😂
You glued the back of the phone cover back in - that is incorrect. There is an adhesive strip that is being sold for exactly this purpose. In your video, the adhesive is there when you pried off the back cover - you should have took that one completely out, and then put in a new one to re-seal it.
This was great. Worked a treat until I broke it again reassembling it. Thats on me man handling it, the screen etc were all working when I tried it out. Top tutorial.
Really enjoyed this. Found out why my first replacement screen didnt work. Some really good tips and tricks. This must be the best insructional video I have come across. You get a sub from me.
I just want to ask. What if i try to attach not compatible display will the phone still start? or will it still charge, vibrate (any signs of turning on)? Because i tried to attach same size display but it doesn't turn on, no signs of vibration, charging, whatsoever. Thanks
Can LCD be broken or damaged without dropping the phone? I have the same samsung phone for about 7 months and all of a sudden it started saying no network service and wouldn't text or call although it would allow for emergency call only and other than that everything worked fine with phone. Took to network provider first and they said the phone wasnt reading the SIM card. Took phone to where I purchased and there was no visible damage, phone was in perfect condition so they called Samsung. Phone was still under warranty so Samsung requested for me to send phone to them even though there was no damage and I took out insurance to cover for damage. Samsung calls today and say the mother board/LCD is not working, basically saying I damaged the phone and refuses to honor the manufacturer warranty even though not able to explain how it got damaged on my behalf. Asked to speak with supervisor and he even had the nerve to say it may have been damaged from leaving on charger to long🤷♂️ never heard of damaging the LCD from that let alone the phone still being able to work! Always bought Samsung to this point but will never purchase a Samsung again. Not a big iPhone fan but looks like that will be my next purchase as far as phones go. Really Samsung??? I guess there is no way that it could just be a faulty put together phone??
Is the glue you use stronger than super glue or does it need to be the I 8000 adhesive you mentioned, in case it needs to be reopened in the future. BTW TY. Saved me $60.
I will have to warn people to be careful not to punture the lithium battery. They are really soft and can be punctured very easily and if you do puncture it, its a disaster!! Your phone will start sparking and spraying smoke and catch fire. I did this already and lost my phone because of it
I just replaced the screen on my daughters A326u yesterday but I notice today that the phone restarts several times in the day the phone is brand new it was les than 1 month old when my daughter crack the screen any ideas why is this I already got the latest software on it
I came here to check out how to fix my A32, but stayed for the relaxing explanation. Man I was stressed out after a crazy day at the office, but your calm voice, and clear instructions are amazing, also, the quality of the audio and video, Kudos, promise I will fix my (old) A32 as a weekend project :) maybe give it to one of my (toddler) cousins! Subscribed!
I got this phone for my nephew, he broke the LCD after 10 days after a fall, The phone place replaced it with a new phone because I got the insurance on it. They told me I did not have to send the broke one in, to keep or dispose of it, I am going to replace the screen and use it for myself. Link to where you got the new screen? Also, that E8000 glue.. Is that the origional adhesive that was on the phone? If not, how difficult would it be to open the phone again after using that glue, if you needed to replace the screen again or replace the battery with that E8000 glue now holding it all together? Same difficulty and heating process or more difficult?
