@@Faye-u7c as of right now I have to say I'm missing my lgstylo it seemed much more user friendly then the a35 but I keep finding more things with it. There some things the stylo had that this one doesn't have. If LG was still making phones I would have bought another one. But the sound and video look great on the a35
Thanks for the comparison. I'm planning to get the a35 my LG Stylo crapped out after 5 years. Best reliable phone I ever had tho. I am bummed that LG decided to stop making phones
Samsung is offering a $150 trade-in on the A35 for qualifying devices such as the A32 5G. AT&T lists the A35 on its website, but not yet Cricket (which AT&T owns), however the A35 is compatible with Cricket Wireless.
I just ordered the a35 5g last night through Boost mobile deal for $150 (deal includes one of their phone plans). My previous phone is s22. Is the switch from s22 to a35 a downgrade or upgrade?
Downgrade but you might not notice much of a difference in day to day tasks. If you're doing things like video editing on the phone, that's where you'll notice the difference the most. The camera quality is also worse and the performance is obviously worse. The display on a lot of these A series devices pretty much look like flagship displays so you might not notice much there. The speakers are probably just as good also.
I don't think you can get a dual sim card on the S series. If you work and/or travel internationally the dual sim card slots are a huge plus, since (at least for me) I use the phone as phone for business and for nothing else. No time to waste.
I got the A15.. great phone.. very happy..IDK if it's worth getting the A35.. still undecided.. any extra input? I would appreciate it.. thank you. I think I have had it almost 2 years.. if I can recollect correctly
Hey Not sure if this helps But my 22 ultra just crapped out I picked up the a35 What a great phone Ya I miss the s pen and the camera zoom But I can’t fork up the $1,200 anymore It’s so not worth it The a35 is a great great everyday driver 👍👍👍👍
You couldn't have had the A15 for 2 years. It just came out in December 2023. It didn't even come to most prepaid carriers until January 2024. You most likely have the a13 5g. It's easy to confuse the Samsung phones from just looking at the back and not the sides or front. The camera set up has been pretty much the same design wise for the past 2-3 years. If you do have the a13 then the A15 5g or the a35 5g would be a substantial upgrade for you and I'm sure you would enjoy either of them. 😊
Youve had the A15 for 2 years and you are still alive? Im imagining you must not use it to drive for work. Ive survived on loaned miracles by God. Get the A35 before the curse that is the A15 gets you in your dreams with its lack of snappyness, sleepyness, and over all it has a bad attitude. Doesnt like Metallic like tf??? That is what kind of phone this is. A phone that doesnt understand the appeal of Metallica
For my brother, who is 15 it’s gonna be his first phone and I’m guessing to get him the a35 since he wants to film a lot of Instagram videos and RU-vid so I think the A3 five although being a bit more expensive has the 4K and 6gb or ram so it won’t be as glitchy or lagging although you do sacrifice the headphone jack so he’ll only be able to use Bluetooth or just use a two-way adapter but I think it’s perfect. My only issue is the size it’s pretty big considering everyone else in my family has Samsung S and iPhones including me iPhones mine and my dad‘s phone being 6.1 and my mum’s phone 5.8 which are normal sizes in my opinion like pocket sizes so my brother is going to have a pretty big phone at 6.6 that’s my only real issue is the size of the A35 but yeah, what do you think? Should I buy something else? Would you recommend something else?
Budget to mid-range phones have gotten really good but both of these phones are far too expensive for what they are. To put it in perspective, the A35 costs roughly the same as an S22 Ultra that's renewed/refurbished and that phone will fly compared to the A35. If you went down to the S22 Plus or even back to the S21 series of phones, you'd actually pay much less than the A35. The only advantage to these phones is longer software support but otherwise you're better off buying an old flagship device.
Wrong a15 had 4yrs of updates 5 yrs of security maintenance Samsung website states Offered with up to 4 generations of OS upgrades and 5 years of security maintenance, your Galaxy A15 5G stays up-to-date for longer.
Thanks for the comparison. I think your last comment on value is selling me on the A15. Basically 2 for the price of one. I dont do gaming. Stereo sound would be nice. I do like the audio jack.. Im learning a language. Just curious about screen pens. Could 3rd party pens work on these devices?
Ngl that a35 5g is good I still want to explore about it more the a15 is ok I really don't want to worry about downloading a third party app for screen recording
I have seen others say that their A15 5g doesn't have a native screen recorder but mine does....idk....mines originally from Metro by T-Mobile but I got it unlocked after having it on my account for 180 days. So idk if it varies by carrier or what but I definitely have one on mine.
@k9web ik but the glass is gorilla glass victus+ and also I used to have a a03 plastic back I don't mind which I get. And also I cracked my a03 very badly.
Yes, either one would be perfectly able to handle RU-vid without lag (as long as you have a good internet connection), though I'd probably recommend the A35 because it is the all around better phone (only if you don't mind shelling out a bit more money for it).
I have the A13- just bought an A35 but haven't switched over yet. The A15 would still be an upgrade from my phone and keep in mind my phone (A13) has been perfectly usable these past 3 years. I think for just RU-vid and calling/texting the A15 is perfect. No need to spend that extra $
Back in my day we didn’t have to pay so much for these smart phones. We just go to the corner store and grab two cans of beans a candy necklace. Eat the beans and candy, of course, and rig up a person to person communication device. It didn’t have text, but it did have tetanus should you ever cut your lip on the can.
The A35 offers dual physical SIM card which the A15 does not. Important feature for people who use their phones worldwide, PS The A15 does actually too. 😀
@@ndibunwachinonso6593 you are indeed correct. At the time I made the comment I had just watched another video on RU-vid where the guy claimed the A15 had dual sim card (one physical and one e-sim card). So I ended up buying the A35 which was $100 off for two days and I actually like it very much, So I completely forgot about this comment of mine. 😁 Truth, for once, has prevailed. Thank you.
About 5 months ago I left my cracked screen A13 in a Lyft and proceeded to go into a bi polar manic fit in attempts to get it back. 5 days later I heard back from the guy. Id already been to hell and back... ANYWAY During that time I said fuck it and went to a T-mobile store and looked over the cheapest options because I am disabled and poor. The rep at the store was great I'll give them that he broke into my old apple iphone 10 and used it to get me a trade in deal little did I know I was literally making a deal to get the devils phone... I am a 42 year old 10 year over the road veteran whose had many a many phones. This is by far thee most agitating and most manic episode making thing I have in my life. Makes me manic at least 3 times a day ontop of the thousands of times people have nearly been killed due to me having to end or start a mapping function quickly at a turn or something and failing repeatidly forcing me to re-be distracted until the button works and more than often it wouldnt and Id have to close all the tabs and start over... 95% of the time the phone acted like It was busy napping and to bother it later, grump told me to leave it alone.. I am blown away I have lived. Riding myself of this Ouija board attitude this A15 has. How was my A13 faster? It was cracked af too. I wont forget this tmobile
I have the a15 5g and it works great for me the only dislike i have is the u notch instead of it having the hole punch camera. I have cricket currently but my a15 5g is unlocked but if I i switch back to Metro by T-Mobile like i want to I can get the Samsung a35 or the Motorola G Stylus 5G 2024 if i port my number and get a Metro Flex Plus plan. I would have to het the Metro Flex Plus plan to get the a35 and i can get the Metro Flex Up or Plus plan and get the Motorola. I like both phones I cant decide! I really like Samsung ecosystem and their software. But i love the Stylus Feature on the Motorola. Can yall give me opinions?
How on Gods green earth does this A15 deserve a spot in the sun? It is beyond me. The sheer number of times this phone has disobeyed my requests and done ridiculous things is insane. I am lucky to not be a serial killer from brief needs from my phone whilst driving NOT working causing me to re-distract myself cuz it didnt work, this goes on like 5 times till i lose my shit pull over in a manic episode have to close all tabs and retry.... The a15 FULL on REQUIRES your full attention if you want to use it in the car in my world. This thing can eat a bag o em.
