Pro tip: Create a Samsung account, back up your settings and when you switch phones to a new Samsung, just restore the saved settings and you'll get pretty much a carbon copy of what you had in your previous device, including the wallpaper, apps folders and others. This will save you time on configuring all of this again in your new device.
I've used it for one day so far and am happy. My battery would typically be around 60% at the end of the work day and today I was at 86%. So far so good.
@sandeepdatta1624 I couldn't get stats for nerds to show dropped frames but manually setting it to 2160p on my home wifi running at 331mbps, it played smooth with no stutters.
I'm fairly happy with this phone apart from 1: the default video player isn't as good as older versions. However, the most annoying thing is 2: No master volume, i.e. I can turn down the media volume to a level I want, then look at another reel or video and the volume is way up high again. Have Samsung done this because of pressure from advertisers so ads are always loud?
About the wifi calling: usually the wifi calling comes with every phone with a sim card installed but you just have to enable it through quick toggles or phone settings (i have it on my galaxy s20 5G unlocked)
I just got this phone in the UK. It was on the Samsung site at £449.00. There was trade deal in for £100 and then on top of that a cash-back deal of £100. So I got this for £249.00. That's a great price for this phone (8gb RAM too). I'm loving the phone so far. I'd had my previous phone for 5 years, so it feels like I've gone from a skateboard to a sports car. Great tips in the video. Thank you, Jimmy.
I wish you were willing to pay that for another one I hate this piece of shit I'm sure all this prase is from company employees the phone is a piece of shit and Samsung knows this
I only decided to learn how and who has me hacked. Recently after 6 years of abuse, hate, threatening, and cocky attitudes, as I thought I was hacked, or knew but not able to communicate this as I couldn't explain why which is totally played on by the providers, who give advice after figuring out your understanding of systems. Whenever I have taken
you can create more pages by moving one icon to the right edge and it will move icon to new page that is created works for home page or app page you also can add one more icon to very bottom
Awesome video... am having trouble even moving widgets. Wont let me easily move it. The locked setting is off... call me old... but sometimes ... less is more.
Whenever I rang Telstra or my bank as a business of course the old saying that the customer is always right, really means TOO THEIR FACE, and if the customer is complaining about being told that purchasing a brand new device would definitely fix that problem. . Now Iknow that its not my fault whatsoever and my consent questioning of my mental health. The of course MONEY is worshipped and everything put into place which influences trying to help this major Australian issue considering in the 80"s The Lucky Country was our countries nickname. As an aging majority population, personally I believe around 50% of people are compromised without even knowing. Do the phone companies and providers know all this information? OF course they know it, which is quite the argument especially considering our National Suicide Rate. I understand business is business. What I now understand as my argument regarding everything. Mental health issues develop online especially to our youth, over this 6 year brutal attack which is engineered to control everything in your phone and nothing can't be done.
hi i have problems with my new phone. When i bought it, the camera starts flashing with pink lines and pink background. I dont know whats wrong with it
Thank you for sharing this helpful information 👍 I have 2 questions that i didn't see in the video: - Can i (if yes how?) disable swipe to unlock without face recognition etc.? So when i press the button on the right it immediately asks for my PIN instead of swiping first - 14:10 What do you mean with "Tap build number 7 times" to unlock Developer options ? I don't see it on my screen
Turning on Extra Dim and turning on Adaptive Brightness works perfectly for watching videos because it automatically corrects the brightness of the colors shown in that video in order to give you an accurate picture quality.
Jimmy- believe it or not, I had an 8 yr. old, 20 dollar, Walmart phone and I was happy with it. Thing is, it started to die and my 85 yr. old Mom gave me one of these- an A54 5G. I did not want it. I don't want to become one of those Zombies with head bent down, oblivious to the world, hypnotized with one video or another. But, alas, time and wear won and now I am the kinda proud owner of one of these beauties. Anyway, just as I though, my 65 yr. old brain is STUMPED by all of the features. Thanks for doing this video bro. Good God do I need it.
the calendar function alone is worth the effort. put doctor appointments, birthdays, things like that in there with reminders and you'll like it a little more
Hey dude i am from india and i am facing unstable network in my samsung A 54 i.e slower network speed , however on my other realme device at the same location i am getting decent speeds can u plz give me a suggestion to resolve this issue.
I got the phone for about a week now but i noticed that my display doesnt fit (its too big) so it hides half of whatever im looking at. i have no idea how i can change resolution or anything
When you were talking about WIFI settings you missed something. When you click on the intelligent wifi settings button seven times you enable wifi developer options similar to the android developer options.
I would say the A54, Walmart has a deal going on if you go through Tracphone, the phone will be $229.99 if you get a 45 dollar plan to start off then you can choose cheaper or more expensive plans after ur first month
I want to be able to take a picture. Then select move to album. Then it moves to album and is no longer in my general pictures. My old Samsung did that until a few updates ago. Now my brand new A54 still keeps the pic in my pictures gallery. So, it is just copying the pic to the album and not moving it.
I have a question actually and I can't find answer to it anywhere. When I take pictures with front camera and then open them, they change, like they load for a second and then my face is smoothened in a way? I thought it's a face filter, turned it all off but it still does it and it annoys me so much, because when there's not enough light or slightly too much motion my photo gets a lot of those poor quality thick squares. Also when I do pictures super close to my face they all are just blurred. Is that something with a front camera focus issues?
Hi, can you help, I had a galaxy a34, I have just bought this phone, the screen seems a bit yellow, compared to the a34 and when I move the phone around the screen colour changes, can you help thanks.
Good video but it's nothing new to me. Are you aware Samsung is notorious for low display response time and so--so screen refresh time in their midrange phones which leads to slow fingerprint sensor un lock. Is there anything else we can do to make the FP sensor fast apart from registering the same finger twice or disabling the unlocking effects or sound?
Can you please help. I have the galaxy a54 5G. I get sent photos through the regular default sms messages app, but when I want to save the pictures, it doesn’t give me that option. Please help.
One question, with the auto optimisation setting on,will your phone keep restarting when not in use?e.g. you go to bed in the evening, will it keep restarting the whole time till morning hour's?or How does it play out?thanks
I have a problem with my Samsung A54 for example when I edit video of 1 gega to make it 250 mega the new video of 250 is OK in the internal storage then I want to delete the original video of 1gega but actually I can't find it resulting in the free space is getting less ..thanks
Thanks for posting this. Would you please answer a technical question about this phone? I've had this A54 for about 3 months now and I just noticed that the Message+ Image Search icon no longer appears in the "Attach Media" option when I select (+) to add an image (i.e. - GIF, Video, MEMEs) from online. The only options now are "Glympse", "Places" , "Replies", and a couple of others. How do you retrieve that blue-colored Search button that was originally in there?
Hi Jimmy Sorry to bother you but I received the One UI 5.1 update on my A53 but then there was a feature to edit control panel grid later it just vanished from the settings and it reset the panel back to default I would like to know if its a bug or it's a feature on the S series only that's why it got taken out .
One thing I miss is the scrolling screen, you know how some phones have a screen that will have a continuous scroll and not stop... well....this one doesn't 😭😭...unless someone knows something that I dont😢
Auto optimization by automatically rebooting the phone is the most stupid thing embedded here as you will lose all the past notification you haven’t read when it does so. It’s also the only time they screw the system so bad that you have to reboot a Linux system to "refresh" it. Pretty sure it’s placebo though.
Probably April Security Setting but as with S22 Ultra may come with the pic cut out!!! Not sure if they are giving to S21 Ultras but many S22 Ultras just got it!!! Was an S23 Ultra only thing. Pull up in your Samsung Gallery a picture and press on an item and it will let you cut it out by putting you finger say on an object in the photo
You talk too fast. I want to learn what I do not already know. Stop giggling the screen and showing things not associated with what you are now talking about. I DO NOT KNOW what you know so slow down and stop fussing with the screen if it has nothing to do with what you are now talking about. You are talking to people who want to learn what they do not know already so tone down the speed and do what all presenters tell you to do: 1) tell us what you are going to show us, 2) show us, 3) repeat number one and two again. For instance: I did not know that the ANSWER the phone icon needed to be changed to work... who knew. I thought it would just work as is. Well not so. That was new to me. I lost a lot of incoming calls due to not knowing that. Try to put yourself in learners' shoes NOT in your shoes.
People are weird and unexplainable/stupid. These phones are designed it's own ways to make them different. From display to performance to ..... We people buy it and change everything back to 0. Why would you do that ? I would prefer you buy a phone very simply instead then you won't have to worry about all those batter draining and ..... like a vehicle, engineers spend years to design a car and again, people buy it and design their own ways. Lmao😅😅😅
I hate this phone i never know what its going to do sometimes the touch screen works with the lightest touch other times you beat hell out of it thats not the worst of it
Thank u so much for a 66 yr old woman who used to be a little savy but with lack of not using technology as before i have forgotten many things. So i just my A12 that i loved but with time it wasn't working properly needed change. And when you purchase a phone at a store most representatives are only interested in making the sale. They don't help you with showing you about the settings, some even get annoy at you for asking to help you.I almost told the young lady at T-Mobile to give me my money back and keep their phone, luckily this other representative came to help me switch my apps but i was tired and didn't want to ask her to help me with the settings. Manager called out we're about to close. Thank you so much for sharing this video you made.
Try being 75 and tech impaired. I wish there was a class available where we could practice these skills. At least my iphone offered classes. Only got 7 min into this, as I had to take notes. Very thorough, and I appreciate that! In another 3 15 minute sessions, I might know how to use the phone sold to me as " beginner friendly"
Any chance you know how fix the ringer issue? My ringer silences itself for no apparent reason, I just dropped$300+ on this thing and I'm constantly missing calls just to find out the ringer turned off!!! Even street I've turned it back on, it turns off again! Please help ❣️
For over 10 years I put all my apps in folders. Looks very organized. You can name the maps and give them the most beautiful colors. I have never seen anyone else who does this or knows about it.
I do that as well. It's nice to group apps together. The only thing is you gotta remember what's where. Labeling it's a relevant name related to what's in there helps a lot.
@@alirezakhoshbakhtian That's a good point except I believe all phones do that. I know for a fact Apple does cause my cousin has an iPhone SE (the one that looks like a 8) and he has folders. I'm sure other android phones do as well.
While some people like dark mode, an AMOLED screen can burn-in more easily than with a light theme because there's more contrast between lit and unlit areas. Yep, I learned it the hard way. ;)
@@BillAnt That's incorrect. The primary culprit for burn-in is the blue pixel. Contrast has nothing to do with it and you really have to work hard at it in this day where screen dimming is a default standard on phones.
@@desertfrag- My own personal experience showed otherwise. The best one can do to save AMOLED screens is to set it at about 50% brightness on both light or dark themes. It can make a big difference to avoid premature burn-ins.
It's pretty close, depending on what you're doing. For high end video editing you're probably better off with a flagship through. However having an SDCcard slot is a deal breaker for me, love it because I don't save anything into the cloud who knows where and who has access to it.
i just order this phone for my mother in law , she'll be 79 years old and i was looking for a tutorial and i do love the way you explained it, easy , straight to the point ,very smooth the way ypu talk. thank you. muchas gracias lo recomendare en español.
Thanks for this! It's always a pain to learn a new phone's quirks and features, your video saved me a lot of time. This is great even if you have a different Samsung phone.
