Kind of a tough comparison to be honest...which one are you choosing? 🤔 --- Samsung Galaxy A54 on Amazon: geni.us/A54-deals Samsung Galaxy A73 on Amazon: geni.us/A73-deals
Are there any differences in terms of the display? I previously owned a Note 9 and I'm afraid the display of the a54 doesn't live up to the note 9 standards
@kennethmanuel1094 For me, it's a definite yes! These are the display capabilities between the two. Note 10 Lite: Super AMOLED, HDR, 60Hz, 394ppi. A54 5G: Super AMOLED, HDR10+, 120Hz, 1000 nits, 403ppi. A54 5G display looks more sharp, vibrant, bright, and smooth!
@@siddharthsirvaiya3544 I feel it really is quite the upgrade. Camera's clearly were improved and so was performance even though it wasn't quite there. Battery life is also stellar on the A54 too.
It brought back nostalgia of owning an iphone 12 pro max - the haptics alone on this are *chefs kiss* I actually prefer the Exynos chip on this made by samsung, sd7g1 would have been nice but the benchmark difference is only 10% (510k vs 590k) This chip is actually very energy efficient, and it resolves the biggest issue of the predecessors like A52/53 that is the unreal battery SOT is 11h+ straight, that is unheard of from an android phone, this is even 20% more than the previous iphones. The feel and width of this phone, rounded screen corners and cameras are absolutely amazing as well. Anyone who pays $450 for it , will get a device that does 95% of what a $1300 device could do, sure if you want the 100x moon pictures, S-Pen and other gimmicks, then you should be fine.
I own an A54. I am impressed and happy with it. Even the processor seems nice for an Exynos. I think Samsung finally has improved the Exynos chip. Wade, your suggestion to me to get an A54 over a Pixel 6A and Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 helped me to make my fine purchase. Thank you!
For someone who has used both. Let me tell you that A54 is leaps and bounds better than A73. From the camera, to the screen and even battery drain. Even performance was better on the A54. The exynos on this device really well optimized.
I just got an A54 but I've never owned an A73. I think the Exynos processor is very good so far. It's my first Exynos phone, and I was a bit worried about getting this phone because of the Exynos reputation, but it looks like they worked on their chip and improved it. Mine hasn't overheated, has good battery life, and pretty fast processing. I don't play many games, but my video watching and camera usage have been good so far. It runs smooth and feels premium. I'm happy with it. As for the A73 vs the A54, I can't speak on your experience, but in this video the Geekbench scores were higher and most pages loaded faster on the A73, but just slightly. For the price, I am impressed by the A54.
I completely agree. My newly purchased A54 5G is faster than my cousin's A73 which runs on the same version of software and OneUI. I had the same mentality before on hating the A54 and just defending A73 until I tried it for myself and honestly apart from the screen size and the more premium rectangular form factor I can't really say anything that A54 lacks where in fact in most ways A54 is the more stronger bet of the two. I just wish it has a more larger screen or the difference from A34 is more than the internals and the hole punch front camera cutout. But so far A54 is one of the best midrange phones I ever had and never complained with since my last one was the A9 from 2018 and after that all my phones were all flagship Galaxy phones. And I decided just recently to try midrange once again since Samsung keeps on dropping meaningful features I personally am using on their flagship phones yet keeps on increasing their price year after year. Hence why looking onto the midrange segment is a perfectly good idea. And A54 really outshined my expectations a midrange phone below or within 500 dollar (local price) mark. And so far I am loving every bit of it. #GalaxyA545G #AisForAwesomeAndAmazing
I prefer the A73 more than anything because of its processor and the size of its screen, there is not much difference in nits, it is only 200, what stands out from the A54 are its construction materials.
As someone struggling to decide between these 2 phones for over a month after comparing them, i then decided to compare both phones against the flagship S23 and i must the A54 is so much more like the s23/23+/23Ultra lineup than the A73 and for me the features and build design of the A54 is what was the deciding factor..i wanted a similar flagship feel without breaking the bank. Camera: is leaps ahead of the A73 i record UHD30 with good stabilisation and the quality is great for social media posting and vlog like videos, images are crisp in good lighting and i must say never took alot of pics before getting this phone but after getting the A54 5G i just wanna take pics and record my days more😂 Now lets talk performance: the A73 SD 778g chip is slightly faster but thats by a few 3% arguably and i must say the A54 is no slouch this phone is a beast, i got the 128GB 8GB version and bro it takes on my daily activities like a boss, the Exynos 1380 is an amazing improvement from last years Exynos 1280 i havent experienced any major lags or stutters in daily tasks..now in gaming i only play Genshin impact on high settings i get stutters as the game opens but as you go on it smoothens out. Battery life: i get 6hrs SOT during heavy usage, recording videos, taking pictures, gaming and all that jazz, then 7 to 8hrs SOT with light usage and battery save on. Overall im glad i chose the A54 over the A73 imo its a better overall phone design, features and feel wise the performance is on par with the A73 but the Flagship like features make the A54 5G a clear winner
I still use A7 2018 and planning to upgrade soon. This is helpful since these are my two main choices. I done really play games in my phone and mostly concerned about camera. So I am choosing A54 since it has good display and camera
Too much commitments on picture and almost nothing on connectivity or signal enhancement ! For people who live outside the concrete jungle we need a phone to work everywhere...
I have been using Samsung Galaxy A54 5G for 8 months, and I am very satisfied. I upgrade it from my previous Galaxy A71 because the screen was broken. Maybe it's a little biased, because I'm a big Samsung fan, and have been using the Samsung brand for 15 years. So that's why i never feel disappointed 😂
I have the Samsung A54 had it for about a Week now, the performance is good with daily use and gaming, but I don't know so much about the A73 5G because I'm in Louisiana and in the United States they don't have the A73 in the US.
i prefer the a73 because of the screen ratio i really enjoy it, when it comes to processor i its not that much issue for me since im not into hardcore games anymore cause priorities first.
Another great comparison, Sir! I like the Galaxy A7X series because of the bigger screen + the higher resolution 108mp camera that gives lossless zooms. A Galaxy A75 this year can still make sense for the 2 reasons above. Samsung can still reserve the wireless charging + Samsung AI on their Flagship S series starting with the FE while maintaining the A75's 108mp OIS camera, the larger 6.7 1080p Super AMOLED+ display, even with the same Exynos 1480 of the A55 (the Exynos 1380 may suffice) discarding the aluminium frame in favor of plastic to cut the cost. Bottomline, some consumers like me want a midrange device with the largest display possible 6.7 + 108mp hi-res camera with OIS. Currently, the only 6.7 Samsung display coasts at flagship territory - the S24+
I got a a54 and compared to my friends a73...and both are amazing phones. I noticed mine is brighter and has hdr10 support for videos. Plus the pictures on the a54 is automatically Ai enhanced which is no big deal, either way both cameras are awesome. Oh and the a73 definitely feels lighter to hold. In conclusion, I'd say to go for the a54 just for the hdr10 😍
@thearyaputra good question. But in my area I don't get 5g signals, only around city/town areas. My 4g is fast enough anyway at 40~70mb speeds. Another thing with 5g is that it uses too much battery power, so it's better to use 4g as default. BUT now that you reminded me of 5g I'll test it out when I go out. I'm sure I'll get past 500mb~1gb in city areas.
Better to buy the S20 FE or the S21 FE IMO.... only thing you sacrifice is the jack but those phones are just so much more value for money! You get almost flagship specs of 2020 and 2021 for mid range prices.
A73 is just better .. bigger display smaller and thin edges better chipest performance bigger battery and both very good cameras so over all as a complete phone just go to A73 ❤❤
I wanted to get the A54 but went with the 73 just because of the snapdragon. As someone who uses a lot of emulators ( especially 3ds and switch ) snapdragon is a must.
The difference is very minimal. I would say that it won't make much difference with the SD 778G. One thing for sure, architecture on the Exynos 1380 is winning since the architecture is on 4nm
Thank you for your video. some b@stard robbed me of my a52s yesterday. I have been trying to narrow down a replacement between the a73 and a54. you have helped me make up my mind. Thanks.
Believe me, I was looking for the A73, but I did not find it because I had the A71, and I had an excellent experience with the A70 category in general, and now I got the A54, and my phone misses the A71, a more luxurious touch.
I love my A54. It can last me more than 24 hours on days when I only use the camera while doing a little browsing in the internet and it's not even a 100% charge. Not to mention how great the camera is.
just got it for less than $100 from metro and been loving it so far runs fast for me the cameras are perfect gets plenty loud and for the performance I can still play genshin impact comfortably!! AR 50 😉
I need help i can't decide between a54 or something else like i don't want to overcome my budget since i was not planning on changing my phone so can someone tell me how different is the a 54 from the huawei mate 20 please?
I'm a proud owner of A73 and let me tell you what, this phone has nothing lacking of a base model S series (s21&21+ , 22&22+). I've done all sort of things with this phone and it never let me down. Plus I'm a pro CODM player and i can play on highest settings with ease. So yeah if you want an upper midrange phone that gonna get u through most of things u throw at it, don't hesitate getting the A73🔥👍
A73 pega gcam, sola dboa a54 em camera por causa disso, 778g com poder de fogo maior, tela super amoled plus, superior so perde nos nits e no vidro traseiro
I prefer a73 than a54. Pretty much win all aspects FOR ME except for longer support on a54. Very happy with my purchase. Checks all the boxes for much lower price.
Hello, not many people brought this up but is the back side material matters that much? I wanted to get the a73 but I've heard that plastic back will deteriorate faster, scratches more easily and could lead to fungus infestations. However on the other hand, the a54 glass back will help mitigate the fungus and scratches but will heat up faster since glass is more heat conductive than plastic and break more easily upon impact?

S22+ downgraded to A54 and waiting for S25. So far not much difference in terms of quality if you are a normal user. A54 feels slightly thick. Camera wise, I dont care that much, Battery is way better on A54. But charging speed is crap. If you are from S21, s22 series, can change to A54 without any hesitation.
Quick question. Why I'am able to do a floating video while playing this video? I'm not a premium user of youtube. Just noticed it compare to other video
