I migrate to A55 from Xiaomi 13T. In paper 13T way ahead compared to A55. But in real usage and UI/UX Samsung A55 feels more premium and reliable than Xiaomi 13T
Samsung mid range phones are the most overhyped garbage I have ever seen, yes I used to own their midrange to low end sever years back. Xiaomi may have it's issues, but I'd never switch from Redmi or Poco over to Samsung overhyped midrange phones, also my Redmi note 9 (6 to 7 years old now and still have it and still works), Poco X3 pro( has and still have it for four years and 3 months) and Poco X6 pro (2 months so far this year) have never ever failed on me.

watching this video on my A54😊😊😊, he missed one point, is actually lighter than A55, maybe due to small screen size, for me is just the perfect comfortable size 😊😊😊 happy to bring this phone to my China trip, took a lot of great photo
I upgraded to the a54 last year from the galaxy a12 after using the a12 for almost 4 years. I gotta say it was worth the price. Faster charging an OLED screen and amazing cameras. I'm hoping to see samsung add more features to their a50 series in the coming years.
Im in the exact same situation, ive been using the a12 for the past 4 years and only upgrading it since the screen broke, im still unsure which one to choose since the a55 is newer and faster but its too big and boxy to my liking, while the a54 is smaller and more sleek looking but its older and slower
If only A55 retains the dimension of A54 or even less size then I would have upgraded my A54 in a heartbeat. This device is huge and much more when used with case
Thinking of getting a new phone. But not sure between the A55 and Xiaomi 13T. I don't game, so performance is not that important for me. But I do care about the camera quality + battery drain and charging. The curious thing is that even though it's a 25W vs 67W charger, the speed is similar, close to 1h for 0% to 100%
To be honest i always buy Chinese phone especially xiaomi because they have very good specs at a lower price. Then i tried samsung m52 5g which i still use today still no problem at all and still getting software updates. I don't know but samsung is way premium in all aspects the display the camera the software and ui experience. For now i will never go back to xiaomi. Anytime soon will get the a55
@adriandamaris8741 my experience to them is ok but not satisfied especially in the long run. I prefer samsung now if i want a phone to use it for a long period of time. Maybe each to their own
I don't know about others but sample shots taken at different times are not comparable to my eyes. I have to rely completely on what gsmarena is suggesting so kindly please take both phones out for spin at the same time for your viewers sake. It's not like there is a ton of sample shots.
I've seen several camera comparisons. The pictures were hard to tell apart sometimes. I could see the clouds better on sunny pictures and wording a little better on some signs on the a55. Videos are a little better also on the a55. But the a54 does a good job, I have the a54 and have shot a lot of nice videos in 4k that are comparable to an S24.
Please anybody I am a first time watcher thank you I'm glad I found your channel and I want to buy the a 55 and can I turn it into a Thailand phone with esim card and open it up with Thailand settings such as the Apple iPhone will do? Where's the best place to purchase this phone? Please and thanks so much once again
When buying either, if you're in the United States make sure you are getting the United States model. I got a a54 Latin American version. While it still works in the United States via T-Mobile, it lacks 5g band n71. This is the 5G band that is able to penetrate walls and the one that provides the 300+mbps speeds. Without it is essentially a LTE device.
How can a buyer be sure they're buying the U.S. model? I bought my A54 almost a year ago (in September 2023), and never thought about this. It works fine. How do I check to make sure it's a U.S. model?
I have the A54 and I wish I would have waited a year for the A55. My two biggest issues with the A54 are the processor and the battery life and they fixed both of those issues with the A55. I don't care if the A55 has a slightly worse camera because the camera on the A55 is still good.
Watching it on my samsung a52 4G. These two are alot better than my current phone but they still feel like the same old phone to me. I dunno why. My a52 still works fine for me though but the only things i hate about it is the fact the it only has 4G and battery drains so fast now(coz i've been using it for 3 years now). I love samsung but for some reason i dont think upgrading a midrange phone to either of these two is a better idea.
I have both Samsung A54 and A55 and I use both as my daily drivers. I can say that the A55 really stands out like an S series despite moving majority of my files in my A55. It's still running smooth as I'm typing this, what impressed me is the nightography.
I very happy with my Samsung Galaxy A54, I really don't need the overpriced A55. Also, the newer A55 can't take very good pictures whereas both the older S23 fe and S23 take way better pictures and both the S flagship phones have wireless charging!
I qdmit the software of Samsung is excellent but when will they use high end chipsets in their mid range phone like the ones found on Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro?
You team produce very high-quality videos. However, I have some constructive criticism that might help you gain more views-I personally would watch more of your content. Your website covers detailed parameters, catering to true tech enthusiasts. However, in this particular video, essential parameters are scarcely highlighted. For instance, when discussing performance, you simply mention that one device uses the Exynous 1480 while the other uses the 1380. This doesn't convey much information to me as a tech enthusiast because different processors can achieve varying levels of performance within the various phone. Moreover, the average user doesn't even have a clue what Exynous is. Here's an example of what I mean: The A55 is approximately 20% faster according to benchmarks, but in everyday use, this difference may not be noticeable. applications don't load significantly faster, etc. The essence of these tests/comparisons should focus on practicality, conveying this as effectively as possible in the video. For example, when you mention that the two displays are similar, it's important to note that the content displayed on the phones differs, providing a different perspective. Thus, there's no real value in juxtaposing the two videos for me. However, when discussing battery life, that's where the true value lies in terms of content. There's no ill will behind this feedback, I'm simply sharing my thoughts in the hopes of helping you improve. Nevertheless, you produce high-quality videos, and I commend you for that. Your website is also incredibly useful.
Got the A55 and I'm pleased with camera. Especially if you download camera assistant and enable picture softening. This stops it over sharpening photos. Ive got some quite nice photos out of it so far. I had the supposably award winning pixel 7a before and whilst that camera could do amazing things in some conditions, such as night photos it faltered in conditions that should be easy. Usually outside in good light images looked fake and massively over processed. I hated what it did to my dog my emphasising all his grey hairs and making him look 10 times older. A55 does fine here. It also took some good photos at a concert even using 2x digital zoom. Again something the pixel failed at making everything way too dark.
I have the Galaxy A55 and i'm so happy with this phone. It has more features like water resistant, stereo speakers, great cameras etc. Not regretted with this one!
Yes, the Samsung Galaxy A54 and A55 have the same camera sizes and types: Main camera: 50 MP Ultrawide camera: 12 MP Macro lens: 5 MP Selfie camera: 32 MP Both phones also have a triple rear camera setup with optical image stabilization (OIS) to reduce blur in photos and videos. Some say the A54 is a great camera phone, especially in low light, while others say the A55's camera takes good photos in natural sunlight.
Just wait for the A55 to go down in price. The A54 is a good phone, but they improved on the two areas that needed improvement (processor and battery life) with the A55. I would pick the A55 any day and this is coming from an A54 owner. The processor is underrated on the A54, but it's not ideal and neither is the battery life.
The A series after the A52 were all crap A53 was a straight downhill A54 tried to catch up it's previous A52s 5G performance, but a cost of inefficiency, overheating and severe throttling A55 followed the same path as A54, with no major improvements, and sticking to same crappy mid-range Exynos chips. I still long for A52s 5G, it was the greatest Samsung A series phone ever made! Period!
A54 is better options for all ways becz. Less price similer features. Best thing the compact size. 6.1 to 6.4.inches ie proper sizes for a normal person.. We can hold it one hand. We keep it securely our pockets.. Etc
a55 has a better chipset but a54 has a better camera. a52s had better chipset than a53 and a54 too. samsung is the only company that downgrades their newer products, at least smart phones and smart tvs.
Folks if you have to purchase samsung smartphones choose the one that is made in Vietnam it's better camera's better than the variant that is made in India. I have A54, and the front camera quality is not impressive compared to the one from Vietnam. My old samsung M52 made in Vietnam has better camera's rear and front compared to my A54 especially when you do video calling.
Even if Samsung midrange devices has similar specifications with the flagship devices it's still far inferior in terms of RAM management, smooth display, cameras, overall performance. The 120hz display on my A54 is just bad, it's stuttering and the RAM management is AWFUL, it won't even hold two apps in the RAM without closing one. I would never buy Samsung Midrange devices again. I'd better go with Chinese branded phones.
the a54 camera after the update is too contrasty and the skin color turns yellow like it's burning, then when using the ultrawide I can't use the flash, it's very annoying😢
@leeallenbeal may downgrade since their no such thing of a crap phone nowadays lol instead of spending 1k or close for a really good phone.lol few hundred shouldn't hurt if you good with your $
