Why do you never discuss/rate the transparency/ambient sound quality of the ear buds, for many people that is an important feature when it's necessary to talk to someone or just be aware of your surroundings?
I'm a TRUCK DRIVER. I got these at Verizon graphite color $48 because I returned a Razer kishi for gaming button fell off. Buds2 are perfect for TRUCK DRIVING. I only wear one when driving or in shipping receiving area or fueling. My buddy truckers tell me they can't tell the difference they work as good or better than the Truckers headsets. I even stood in front of the motor noise open window wind and etc. You can't use both because Noise Cancelling is so good you can't hear the people talking to you even with music off. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR TRUCK DRIVERS or anybody looking for great call quality and the music is most definitely good. Super light you can't feel them but careful don't lose them. Battery ain't that good but with the case it works for my job. Plus I'm always close to a charger.
I have the buds 2 and love it ! The buds pro hurt my ears maybe due to the shape. And I noticed there are no significant difference in terms of sound quality (since I am not a super audophile) but the buds 2 win due to comfort and lighter for me.
Good video I have been interested in the buds 2 about a year ago I bought the buds pro and it's an amazing product I as an automotive detailer can use these while working and still being able to have a conversation which is great, the buds 2 don't seem like much of an upgrade especially when you take in consideration that because the buds pro have been out a bit longer if you search well you can find an amazing deal on them I've seen them for around €100 / $110 possibly even cheaper but even at their full price I'd say they are worth it, the only annoyance is sometimes you have to press them a bit especially when working out and you get a bit sweaty they will come a bit lose over time
@@SAMSQUANCH47 only small size ear will be problematic . And were the new eartip you Were talking about? Actually I am thinking to buy bud 2 or pro . I'm keenly interested in pro but fitting is unsure as said on internet . Help please
I've watched 5 of these review videos and i STILL can't decide what is a worthwhile upgrade to my buds+. Someone tell me what is the better upgrade NOW.
I just upgraded and I can safely say yes it is worth it. The fit of the 2's are better in my ears and the ANC is a huge W when you're in a place like a coffeehouse. I love it
Idk what you're using to test ANC but even with my Galaxy Buds Pro I resharpen drill bits for a living with 5 other people in the room. It's loud enough to leave ringing in my ears by the end of the day but when I turn on ANC it's as quiet as hearing a toilet flush from outside the bathroom with the light off. The decibal deduction is insane. Next time please record the audio from a real life scenario like maybe a subway
Why is Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro better than Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Sweat resistance. Weather-sealed (splashproof) Is dustproof and water-resistant The device is dustproof and water-resistant. Water-resistant devices can resist the penetration of water, such as powerful water jets, but not being submerged into water. 0.5h longer battery life 8hvs7.5h 1 more years under manufacturer's warranty 2vs1
Hi Aaron! Knowing that the buds pro is coming at a big discount now (145 SGD), would you pick buds pro over liberty 3 pro? Would love to know your opinion. Thanks.
If you have an iPhone you can also update the earbuds software through a PC program that samsung provides for this purpose (Windows only I think). But still no earbuds settings, only firmware update.
For me personally yes I'm currently with the Buds + and will be upgrading to the buds 2. They say they are good. If you have buds pro then there is no need to upgrade but if anything it's your option
@@sourlotking Yes ! You just have to find the right eartip size for your ears. They are amazing 👏. I really love them. For me it's the best upgrade from buds+ to buds 2
AKG IS DEAD!!! THE OG ENGINEERS LEFT THE COMPANY SO SMASUNG IS NOW JUST PUTTING "Sound by BRAND WE OWN" CAUSE AKG WAS SOLD TO SAMSUNG ALONG WITH ANOTHER COMPANY THAT BOUGHT AKG BEFORE SAMSUNG.
Which one is best Nothing ear 1 or Samsung buds pro or Samsung buds 2 , Main usages are a lot of calls and bass boosted songs, Device am using is iQOO 7
@@_The_Harddy age has nothing to do with it. It matters how it sounds and how much better or worse it is. The pros are better so it would be an upgrade but not a big one.
Great comparison. My Buds 2 never opened are up for sale since I already have the Buds Pro. But as other mentioned, they fall out a lot. I bought new memory foam ear tips but didn't help and also made the sound crappy. Now I'm considering just keeping the buds 2. Quite torn right now.
I had the same problem as you mate. Returned the buds pro and got the buds 2. They fit much much better in my ears. It's hard to justify the better features of the pros if you cant even wear them properly for crying out loud. IMO samsung really dropped the ball on the design of the buds pro, feels like they were designed by a robot.
@@donkeydanny2114 I just got my pros and they fit perfectly on my ears. I just had to do the twist in the ear lobe like it says in the manual and switched to the biggest tips.
I finally decided to order Buds2 and was highly disappointed! Sharing an honest review after 2 weeks of usage. 1. Very average bass even after tweaking the settings on galaxy phone and from wearable app, I couldn't pump out any good bass from these. If you're used to JBL sound signature, then you'll be highly disappointed with these. Although the sound is very crisp and clear but does not justify it's price point. They sound average to the entry level segment TWS from any other brands. 2. Active Noise Cancelation is a hit and miss. Most of the times you do not really notice any difference with ANC On or Off.. Only in certain scenarios with wind and far away light noises, gets canceled but it's barely noticeable 3. I connected them with my Samsung Crystal TV and the sound syncing had lots of issues. It would go off sync even when sitting few inches from the TV. Highly disappointing. It would lose connection every time I move my head even slightly. Although connection on phone and laptop seems good enough for about 4-5 meter distance. 4.Highly not recommended for gaming. Even though it has lab feature for low latency when paired with Samsung phone. You will have very bad experience with gaming like PUBG. The delay is highly noticeable. 5. Light weight but they do tend to slip out of ears over time after every 30mins or so. 6. Call quality is good, but misses out voices at times. Mic is good and crisp 7. Ambient sound is actually good. It amplifies loud outside sounds and was surprisingly good 8. Not value for money. Overpriced. I mostly purchased these after watching many RU-vid videos and I would without a doubt say that, those were all paid review videos by Samsung, the way most of them exaggerated it. 9. I bought it on sale for quiet cheap price INR 5999 yet I would say they are not worth that value. I wonder how much regret those people may be having who bought them at original prices 10. Very light weight, compact. Very premium look and feel, specially the case feels like ceramic although its plastic. Decent battery backup. Ps. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5g phone with latest software update, Samsung TV on latest update and also the buds and wearable app on latest update so there is no chance that my devices have problem. Also the buds are 100% genuine and ain't faulty in any ways.
Plz make a comparison of galaxy buds 2 vs soundpeats mini pro vs mpow m30 vs comfobuds mini pro in terms of 1. fit n comfort of small size of buds (not the case, jst the buds), 2. there prutruberence/flushness outside the ear and 3. the call quality in quiet/noise. I know they r not from same league, but i think a comparison in these aspect might b interestingly close competition. Plz jst ignore the price, case size and brand
Hey Aaron, Love the videos, keep it up I would a comparison between Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds live if you don't mind. I am using the Buds Live, with Samsung A52 5G :) my Samsung is my work phone were as my iPhone is my personal and daily driver.
Same here. 2 weeks later I took them back and got the buds 2. They might not have all the features of the pro but at least they don't hurt and stay in my ears
The fit is so damn comfy on the buds 2 and is the reason I think they are the best. For headphones on the go you want comfort over everything and just rock out to speakers when u don't have to where headphones
Buds pro good in vocal and high. (Bluetooth v5.0) Buds 2 good in bass and high. (Bluetooth v5.2) If compare 1 each for sound quality for testing listening ( buds 2 sound faster than buds pro.
I have galaxy bud(2019). I'm in confusion.... 🤔 Bud2 or pro. Is there any sound difference from bud 1? I'm not a loud base lover. I want puch base and extreme sound quality (love to hear even a tiny string sound)...
I'm looking into this earbuds, but I can get a WF-1000XM3 for less. I know XM3 are probably better but on today's standards they start to look quite big. I know the XM3 were your champions Aaron, do you still prefer them in comparison to the Buds 2, or it is time to move to something smaller? Thanks!
It's a tough choice bro ik, Xm3 are better but just because of the fit and looks I went with the violet buds pro and I'm really satisfied. They are very eye catching catching.
Yeah, I bought the XM3, and while they are amazing the fit was not comfortable to me. I ended up with the Galaxy Live, the sound is not as good, but they are super comfortable, ideal to use with podcasts

@@Schubertfernandes thank you for your reply. I am waiting my buds 2 to come try myself. I will return them if im not satisfied. My expectations are average, I dont think that I will be dissapointed. I know there are a lot of alternatives that have more sound quality. However, I wanted to stay in the samsung ecosystem, thats why I also considered buying Pro version. Currently using s21 ultra and watch 4 classic.
Seems like they are trying to deplete Pro stocks to make room for Pro 2s. Thats why we can find Buds Pro at the same price with Buds2, even cheaper. Typical samsung...
Same but I had the Buds Plus and was pretty disappointed with the sound quality, I'm going with the CX True because I believe Sennheiser has the best sound quality of any earphones
hey aaron, when i take off my mask it almost always pulls out my earbuds and throws them to the ground 😔any tip how to take off the mask quickly without damaging my xm4 lol?
Yeah of course the app is only for android there samsung if your ios your going to have a better time with airpods or something cheaper for an apple user.
