When i saw this galaxy fit ads, i just gonna sell my xiaomi miband 3 and buy this galaxy fit. But after watching your review... i think i'll pass. Don't get me wrong, i am a big fan of Samsung. Btw thanks for review! 🤗
It will be better if you use light background for you video. Since the galaxy fit is black and you use dark green plate on background, i cant see it clearly.
Oh no doubt S3 is a great device and has more features than this fit. But I've had personal problems with fitness tracking on the S3 (doesn't pick up my heart rate effectively maybe due to how much hair I have). The fit does a great job at fitness tracking for me, and feels alot more comfortable when exercising opposed to the massive 46mm watch
This is a nice video. It could benefit from better audio quality. And if you could do a kore in depth video of battery life. How easy the charging is. Is it compatible with s10 reverse wireless charging. How well does it track activities and stuff. Thanks
I was deciding whether to upgrade my Fitbit Alta HR to the Charge 3 until I saw your unboxing video. My question is whether does it analyze sleep patterns as well as HR resting like the Fitbit app does...
It does analyze sleep patterns like Fitbit does. And I'm not so sure on its resting heart rate capabilities. I think it takes it too literal and tells you your resting heart rate is just the lowest reading it finds.
@@542317 I do agree with you that Fitbit's app has more analysis and a cleaner presentation with it, however both apps do provide valuable information. I think as long as you utilize it efficiently and learn to rely on your own body's signs, you'll be fine. Often, it seems that people ignore their own feelings and progress with the data a wearable presents. I'm even thinking about switching from my Fitbit Ionic to the Galaxy Fit.
That's what I was thinking. It has an AMOLED screen so you'll never really see the bezels when using it but it would have been awesome to see screen on the entire front
As far as I know you can add as many of the activities found on the Samsung health app to the fit as you wish. So after your set up is done, choose any workout you want directly from the band
DEATH never had a chance to use those. These fits definitely have a smaller form factor but the first fits seem to have a much better screen experience
Have you had any issues with the step tracking? Got my fit yesterday. Did not reset steps at midnight and then randomly reset during the morning, around 10 or so
What's the point if these watches?? I know it sounds like a DUMB question but just curious why would anyone want to count their steps?? What's the benefit in that??
I just bought mine 2 days ago, and the charger somehow got damged, one of the metal rods got stuked inside, from me trying to connect the carger to the watch, i don't know what to do:(
@@ShaneSymonds that's just terrible. I have bought for Samsung charging pads and now this tracker that is marketed as wirelessly chargable requires its own cable. And that cable isn't even a USB C one but something specific for this device? Yikes. That's no good
@@Skv86 but it's not marketed as wirelessly chargeable...that's the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxt Watch. Get your products and facts correct. The Fit is alot smaller, what do you expect? It's still an overall great watch.
That's amazing, so the only difference with the Galaxy watch active is the size, that does not support 3rd party apps like Spotify and the watch faces?
Does anybody else get a heart icon on screen and then the heart rate monitor(set to always monitoring) stops working for a while? In the S-health app, it shows a gap in the heart rate graph. Anyone knows a fix or why does this happen? thx
I've got the Honor band 4 and it's basically exactly like Galaxy fit (colored screen as well) with the only differences being with the charging and the band. I got mine for 26€. Sticking with mine too, 99€ just isn't worth it.
Outro will be completely changed in a few videos from now, currently transitioning from Mac/imovie to windows/premier pro. That outro was made in keynote lol
I personally prefer the look of the Gear S3 watch though. It looks more rugged, high quality and better. And also this watch looks a whole lot like my smart watch which is a WeLoop something something. And it's like $100 USD.
Although they have things in common, Gear S3 and Fit are very different devices for different people. The Fit will get it done for those strictly wanting a simple fitness tracker, alarm in the morning, and notification reader. Gear S3 gives you an entire smartwatch experience. For $100 more the gear S3 is providing a lot more.
It takes your heart rate and you enter how you're feeling and it provides a stress level for you. But honestly idk how well it works considering I've been happy, entered my mood as happy, and it comes back saying I'm angry. Maybe someone else can chime in on the stress feature? I think it's gimmick-y if you ask me.
They have similar features but honestly they are completely different devices. You can engage alot more with the Gear S3 whereas the Fit is moreso something that let's you collect fitness/sleep/diet data quickly and effectively without lugging around something large on your wrist
@@ShaneSymonds Thanks for replying. Sounds about right; pretty sure the only thing I'll miss from the Gear S3 is Samsung Pay and answering the odd call.
I will give you an opinion on Galaxy Fit e, it's bugged, doesn't have touchscreen (there is a vibration sensor, it senses tap as touch), can't start sport activity tracking from it, has small display, few display faces, black and white display which is awful and not good looking on men. But it has small prices, which is for someone big plus. Personally I returned it. If you are buying this, don't expect it'll be useful for something not sport related.
Most people are right handed and wear the watch on their left arm. I myself am left handed and wear the watch on my right arm. Why does this anger you?
I'm interested in using this band as a sleep tracker. Is there an ability to manually start a sleep tracking? (I don't like automatic sleep tracking) On gear s3, I put it in good night mode and then it tracks my sleep. That's the way to go for me
