Been there, tried that. I couldn't even get my exacto knife in enough to begin to pry this thing open! I heated it so much that now when booting up there is a small greenish-yellow aria in the upper left corner of my display. Fortunately it doesn't seem to show except on a white background a little. Geeze all I wanted to do is replace my battery. What a pain!
