you havent tried on the sides, base on my experience j7 pro lcd can easily be damage in the sides once you drop it. purple screen will appear in just a couple of minutes
@@HanushSinghR Hi Hanush, I'm having the same problem with the same type of phone! I was wondering, did you had the problem 5 times because you repeatedly dropped it or did the issue came back randomly over time so you had to change the screen?
It's February 2023 and I am still using it, brought it in September 2017. It currently charges 4% in 5 minutes. So it takes slightly more than 2 hours to complete 0 to 100 % charge. The switch on/off button became unfunctional about 6 months ago, I have to start my phone clicking on the home button. Sometimes when the charge drops below 30%, the phone automatically switches off. I have 12 board exams this March. Hopefully I would get a new phone after exams : )

aMir khan I had one for only for 3 weeks.. And today (27 Oct 2017) my phone fall from my hands... At a 75 cm high and the screen get damaged.. It still functions normally, but doesn't look great anymore... 😡
Had a problem with my j7 pro, it fell from less than 1 meter, and it got a purple spot, that started to grew up and after a few hours, it was covering the whole screen result: Extremely fragile screen, and also EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE, Bought a new screen from amazon from 120$, seller offered me a 1 year warranty, and also free shipping withing the US, and well, i bought it from Amazon instead of ali baba or another Chinese provider, just to be sure about the scream quality even though it was a replacement, the seller said it was the best quality among the options, after the screen shipped, I went to a technician who placed it on my phone, first of all, the screen borders were taller than the original one, what means the phone looked a little bit different, in a bad way, and it becomes 2 or 3 mm thicker than it was, also, the quality of the screen wasn't exactly the same as the original one, the colors from the SUPER AMOLED were preattier and brighter than the ones on the replacement, and well, after a weak, I started to notice a little spot on the bottom of the screen that was brigther than the rest, it doesn't mean a huge problem, but well it was just a detail, and finally the worse part, the phone fell once again, and 1 hour after that, THERE WAS THE PURPLE SPOT AGAIN, and it happened just the same as the last time, it started to grow up, and finally, the screen was totally useless. I wrote a message to the seller, and he denied to give me a solution, and after 3 messages he stopped replying. The good part: I wrote to Amazon customer service, and they offered me a refund upon sending back the screen. Note: I spent 30$ to sent it back to the US, also 15$ to install it on my country, and the refund wasn't for 100% of the phone, they just gave me back 92$ leaving a 18$ difference, which means: my total loss was: 63$ almost the half of the screen, and right now I have a beautiful screenless J7 pro, that isn't worth 300$ anymore (The price I originally paid in March of this year) and instead it is worth just 200-220$ and the screen replacement on the other hand, it's still on the same price: 120$. Conclusion: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE, at least you're committed to live to protect its screen, it may be a Samsung, but it's not durable at all, the only durable thing about the screen is the glass, what means you can get a 100% damaged screen (Functionally talking) with a perfectly looking scratchless front glass.
The idea here is only to show the resistence of.glass in case of a eventual acidental impact. .Nobody will buy J7 to be uses.as a hummer on daily basis

Just bought this phone. don't mind the comments. Buy for yourself and proved it yourself. Anyone can say that this phone is a "NO, NO" especially those people who works with other brand, because they know this J7 pro will be a BOOM. Satisfied J7 pro user here. And I am not working with Samsung.
His not hitting it hard enough its only tapping it, the doesnt show anything, i droped my phone on the ground and my kitten knocked my flying into the shower yesterday, and i have the samsung galaxy J7 pro and it cracked my screen when that happened and it was only a little fall, it didnt fall from far and it didnt fall on anything to hard which still happened to crack my screen, so ya not even doing the right test.
this was actually very stupid, you just wanted to save the phone that is why you clearing the phone and that's why you were hitting the phone very slowly
Ney it is not scratch resistant at all... i try it with my j7 plus too. Place it on the bag with stationary kit like pen,trigonal clip, coin, small thing etc.. and shake it comes appears soft swirll on ur lcd :(
wtf he was teying to scatch the phone with the flat bits of the stuff and you can clearly tell that he didnt apply any force to the hits and he did it on purpose coz he doesnt want to break the phone

Sir i used snapchat on J7pro but it didn't take multi snap on snapchat. I also tried on 3 or 4 other J7pro mobile to see multi snap works or not. But it didn't. And previous i use Samsung galaxy E7 and snapchat works better in that. So that is J7pro issue or snapchat App issue? Please help me with that... Any model of J7Pro didn't work on multi snap or continues shoots on snapchat
