Also if someone is not able to power down their phone without the password (I wasn’t) simply click the power and volume down button and as soon as the device powers down shift to the volume up button while keeping the power button pressed. Once the Samsung logo appears you can release the power button but keep the volume up button pressed

Is it necessary to connect the phone to the PC/Laptop while doing this??

When I do this with my M12 EXACTLY how it is shown in the video, it boots normally after the VOLUME UP + ON/OFF Hold followed by ON/OFF Release and only VOLUME UP Hold. My grandpa forgot his password and he can't get back into his phone. Any other solutions? Anybody knows, why my phone doesn't accept the key combination?

if it didn't work connect the cell phone to the computer through usb and try to process the video. se não funcionou conecte o celular ao computador via usb e tente processo do vídeo.
