Reasons to go with this was Knox Security, 3.5 MM jack & massive battery.. After 1.5 months of usage, I would say it's a pretty good phone.. Display could've been better, preferably AMOLED and they should have included a charger, which is a basic accessory!
Tech reviewers should not just automatically rank a display down because it's not AMOLED. Burn-in till exists - and if you are somebody that keeps a phone for a long time or uses the device outdoors a lot it's going to happen - no matter how careful you are. It's all very nice now how so many midrangers are rocking AMOLED - but just wait two more years when those burn-ins are everywhere. When trying to sell the phone, a burnt in display can reduce your resale value just a badly as a cracked display.
Not common though but display burn is a major problem in amoled phones. If you are are aware of that than better purchase a phone with ips lcd or pls display. I have a samsung galaxy a51 and I have completed 3 years of its usage and since now i have not got any type of issue. One of the problem of my phone is that screen gets too bright when i use Fingerprint unlock I dont have any fix for it.
My friend is using iphone X max which is amoled display made by Samsung nothing like a screen burn and he is 24/7 in phone nothing happens brother in normal use
It has a great design unlike what you mentioned. Looks decent and professional. The ones you mentioned about other brands suck a lot in design. They look so crap and cheap. M33 has very good design.
Pratima your view is quite right but i haven't seen anyone complaining against the softwares ... chinese brands provide horrible software experience in almost all category of phones. I shifted to realme from samsung and noticed a whole lot difference and tuns of bugs on their softwares. Not only in my case i have seen it almost in every chinese phones. Undoubtedly hardware is important but we can run that hardware through a good software only. And being such a popular tech youtuber you people should bring these issues in limelight.. Also one noticeable thing is durability of smarphones (most of the poco phones tent to die within 1 or 1 and half year)..
Couldn't agree more... Bought Xiaomi cause so many people were recommending it and was shocked at how many bugs there were. Had to spend whole first week on trying to solve all those issues. In the end i sold it after a month of use... Not to mention how cheap looking the font and the themes were... Worst buy ever!
"it has a mediocre TFT screen without vibrant colors" I WANT IT! I HATE GAUDY BLINKING XMASS LIGHTS! AT LAST A GOOD OLD SCREEN EASY ON THE EYES! I NEED IT!
Thanks for reviewing it . I think we have to give up so much for one ui it's not worth it and samsung galaxyf23 seems better option . Next review m53 and please do a throttle test and thermal test . 💕💕
Review after 2 month and you missed to say that this one does not play 4k videos especially youtube. Not only you but major reviewers also.I think i must stepin and start reviewing phones
I have been using this device for a week now Pros: Very loud speaker Great battery life Fast fingerprint scanner One UI Cons Performance feels inadequate. Laggy experience during common day to day activities havent used cameras musch so could not comment on dat
@@freefireplayer9936 Regd display, I have previously used amoled and ips phones. M33 is on par with ips in terms of viewing angle android contrast. My only problem is, this phone does not have proper settings to time colour temperature. I like warm colors but there's no option to adjust it. My only way was to turn on eye comfort shield, which provides warm tone but messes up with contrast.
@Anubhav Kumar Gupta i wouldn't recommend this phone for youngsters. Its way too slow and laggy. Its better for old people who use their phone slowly. The phone has low touch response too, so it leads to plenty of errors while tying. As of display, there aren't major complaints other than the blue light filter mode, which messes up the overall contrast.
Nice, but,if it is full charge within 30 or 45 min then it will be nice. Now a days the phones are charging within 20 min(100%) samsung is behind for charging technology.
I wonder why the Galaxy F23 is suggested over M33. That also comes with TFT LCD right? Also the processor of M33 is better than F23. May be just the design was better?
Why in Samsung mid range or upper midrange phones performance is not like others phones with same chipset like 750g dimensity 900 and 778g doesn't perform like other phones with same chipset ???? And also where does samsung do cost cutting .
@@susheelpatil6568 there is only 2 reasons that phone get slow , 1 user interface Samsung one ui is very good but heavy, other thing is Ram and storage speed
it's an okay phone but unfortunately competitions like redmi note 11 pro 5g and others are much better devices so it's very hard i recommended this phone
Did you watch the entire vid? The video quality and image quality is mostly better on m33 and is much more consistent than the redmi note 11 pro 5g The only thing thats better on the rn11p5g is just the screen, the build quality and the chip is somewhat better because snapdragon is better optimized.
@@aimanfitri0iv same for me, but sadly rn11p5g costs similarily with the a33 5g which is $310 so i'd go for samsung for its 4 major OS upgrades and 5 years of guaranteed updates, as well as a more consistent camera and video quality thats also better than rn11p5g
@@lol-ivan7500 personally not a big deal for me 1080 video recording not a huge deal breaker at least it has custom rom support available for note 11 pro 5g
@@aimanfitri0iv yeah ik snapdragon phones has roms and all those stuff but the average user wouldn't do it anyways. Otherwise it really ends up depending on your needs, but rn11p5g/poco x4 pro isn't a good phone otherwise and nothing would fix it bc the poco f3 has went down in price.
i think it's ironic because it caught my eye because of its beautiful simple design.. i looked up newly released phones and the designs are all just weird and exaggerated as f*
Guys please don't bye m33 it's very bad phone mine is a 8 gb ram variant but sometimes while gaming it feels like 1 gb ram device if you have this much money go with another one
Complaining about the screen here is so stupid. Better get a really good processor for this price tag and have the device working than get very good screen with processor so bad it can't get to 40 FPS...
GadgetByte seems to not like any samsung phone. Chinese phones may be offering better value for money but we need to remember they have very bad software experience. Added to it is the fact that chinese phones can't be trusted with data privacy and are stuffed with bloatwares.
This phone is like a old oppo mobile phone it is little thick n wide . If u have extra cash go for Samsung a33 than m33 . Display , camera , design everything better than m33 .
Not a samsung lover but keep on noting its new launches. This seems like giving only rear camera and keeping others as gimmicks.TFT with no charger gives it an odd image of 2012 phones and then look at that 5 year back old notch design. Then i thought ok it may be good for me if i need more battery and use mobile mainly for my callings and small day to day browsing or youtubing. It now has proximity sensor issue as well.Gaming too has stutters. Not happy to check the review.
