Yeah, work hard at studies or whatever your passion is and you will someday. It's good to know what's out there, what to look for, what's good and bad. Plus it's just interesting seeing how tech is evolving.
It's still huge, these taller ratio phones just make it easier to deal with. Uf the note 10 plus and one plus 7 was 16:9 it would be ridiculous and too large.

@Darth Severus stop worshipping companies. You already gave them your money, now shut up about it. This is why everyone hates you iPhone users, and some android users.
Dumb comment. The S10 line up only have 15W charging because the 25W charger wasn't ready in time. Samsung's delay has always been about compliance with the correct standards. Chinese companies didn't care, they aren't subject to the same scrutiny. All companies about making money for the system we live in. Wake up, it's not just Samsung.
Gossip Heart oh shit that’s the real android fanboy. Nobody cares which phone you prefer, i mean it’s 2019 just choose what you want and be happy with it
Now I don't feel the 60fps after playing on my 144hz monitor. I love this phone. I had the iPhone x but switched to the oneplus. I feel like the iPhone x feels like an iPhone 4. So yay all my devices are 90hz+
Apple: releases XR Everyone: solid phone for a cheaper price but I wish it had a higher res screen and headphone jack Samsung: what did you say? Lower the screen res and drop the headphone jack?
girlsdrinkfeck true but what Samsung don’t see xr isn’t a flagship model. A note series is one of the best of the best of Samsung lineups and lower screen isn’t part of the note series
@@Elysiabikha no what you don't see is that xr screen is LCD and 720p unlike note which has 1080p AMOLED which is the standard norm. Even p30 pro is like that and costs more yet you don't go claiming its a bad phone.
I have the Note 10 and love it. I guess I am one of those in the overlap of the venn diagram haha. I didn't want a massive Note 10+ but needed a stylus... Note 10... bingo
I also got the note 10 but I kinda regret it now and not buying the s10+ not having a 1440p screen in a 950$ phone is a big deal for me like how can the s8 have one but the note 10 doesn't and also do you really use the styles that much
This phone would have made sense at a lower price point. Paying a bit less for an S10+, or a bit more for a Note 10+ makes much more sense for everyone.
Agree. It looks to be a straight alternative to the S10+ so should've priced around the same area... my guess would be that the Note 10's price will drop relatively quickly.
My wife and I got them with BOGO, pre-order 150 dollar gift card, and 400 dollars in Costco cash card... Making each other phone cost about 325. What's the problem again?
I really don't know why people care about 1440p on a phone, I changed from a 1440p to a FHD+ phone and the screen is much better, I don't see any individual pixel and the battery usage is a lot better
It dosnt matter at all, I dont see any diffrence. 1440p or even 4k in a phone is nothing more then a marketing gimmick imo. I tested it myself - using 1440p and 1080p phones, I wear glasses tho, so perhaps few % of people with perfect eyesight would be able to tell the diffrence, most of us wont tho.
Note 1 had a 5'3 and people thought that was huge. No seriously tho that note 10+ 6'8 screen is huge. Fast forward 10 years. And the cycle continues. 🤔
Yea same when i had the note 5, the screen was huge and the proportions were also huge, but today the proportions are really close, it's just the screen that's gotten bigger
It was actually bigger than all these phones with the square bezels these phones are way slimmer and boneless the note 2 way extra wide you could barely hold it with its width
@@hilallakhbat I'm using the Note10+. A youtuber has tested the difference between 1080p and 1440p battery life, which is the same. If you're constantly using your phone you'll get 4-5 Hours of screen on time.
Just got my Note 10! Can you please recommend a clear case cover and tempered glass screen protector that works well (including fingerprint compatibility and privacy/anti-spy if possible)?
Apple happened. I don't care for Apple or Apple products, but when the companies i buy my phones from start to copy them in their business practices or choices for price points, then I can't help but wish Apple (as a company) ceases to exist in the tech field. Also, I want a phone with a charging port on the top instead of the bottom, k thx.
@rosenfeld8 You are a weirdo, but so am I. I love my Note 10! I'd be happy if they offered an even smaller one too - a 6.8 big boy & a smaller 6.0 inch for us weirdos.
@@mysticalmaniac2 I've had both a Note 10+ & a Note 10 now. Moved to the smaller one because the + was just too big. I haven't noticed any difference between the cameras. If you're a camera ninja who sees every little detail you may pick holes in it, but for most people I don't think there's any difference. The cameras are pretty bloody good. If you're downgrading from an S21 Ultra you'll likely notice a drop in some areas though. It's not a battery champ, but easily gets me through most days. If you're a very heavy user you may need to top it up, but for I often put it on charge before bed with 30-40% remaining. I've used it a *lot* today, & it's 22:03 at 24% currently. Display is really good. If you have amazing eyesight you may be able to tell the difference between it & the Note 10+, but for most people I bet you couldn't tell the difference. The screen could have a better max brightness for mid summer days outdoors, but not a deal breaker for me. All round the Note 10 is solid, & down to a good price now.
Imagine paying 900+ dollars on a Qualcom 855 device that will be outdated in under 2 years. Fuck that stand. But it will last longer then any of these shitty android phones.
Hey Marques , thank you for not ignoring Note 10 thinking its just a smaller one. Its good you reviewed it , and mentioned every major differences. Info was worth and honest .
Everything is wireless these days....why do I want to be wired in...what’s the point....my wireless earbuds...all 3 pairs work great...and can wear them on my motorcycle...no cord to worry about...same when jogging and working out....get use to it cause companies have made it obvious that headphone jacks are the past and not future....
@@josephpinczer Headphone jacks will always be present. Perhaps not in mobile devices, but in music studios and for audiophiles wired is always the best option. Lower latency, better reliability, etc. And besides, most of these companies who are removing the headphone jack are GIVING YOU a USB-C connected pair of headphones anyways. Which means companies still value wired connected headphones, but they are following a trend from Apple to remove the jack to make more money with their own wireless headsets. The jack will live on, but maybe not in flagships.
I've been sticking with Note 8 for pretty much same reasons. Then it fell and the rear glass shattered a bit, so I put tape on it and still using it. 😄. I don't play games, but I'm a power user for personal and professional work, so the beefier processor does not do much for me. Rest of things, exactly the same experience in every single way. I wish phone companies would innovate so hard that I can't stop myself from buying a new phone every year. I miss the mid 2010s.
I have this phone and I actually love it. My only gripe with its bigger brother is that I can't do everything I want without having to use two hands. The Note 10 has the pen experience that I want (and it is useful in a lot of scenarios) and I can browse, text, and go through apps really comfortably using just one hand.
I understand that people are mad about the lack of the headphone jack and 60hz display. But i don’t understand why 1080p isn’t enough. It’s still over 400ppi. People are like ”If i put the phone on my nose, i can see an individual pixel, and it bothers me” What’s wrong with people?
As much as I hate it, it works right apple makes a shit load of money selling only 2 phones a year. Samsung's also just a company. Profits are still first on their mind no matter what they make you think
They still give you way more features than apple ever will so how are they testing the apple concept? Does iPhone have reverse wireless charging, 25W fast charger, USB c, triple cameras etc???
Eventus Vantos Consumers want compromise, not feature they won’t use in the long run and Gimmicks Which is why expensive phones aren’t selling well nowadays
I agree! I myself came from the Note 8 but never used the Spen. So when I upgraded I went Huawei and bought the Mate 20 because it also have a headphone jack.
@@TahasLab I guess it is up to personal preference. The bezels in note 9 are huge compared to note 10. But that doesn't make the note 9 a bad phone in any way, it just feels outdated to me.
If you want to have a note experience just go and buy the previous generation of the note line. The note 9 I consider to be one of the best phones that Samsung ever produced.
My boyfriend had a very bad experience with that phone. He dropped it in the water to record something for like 10 seconds and now it's pretty much dead. The front camera is also so bad. I mean yeah, his fault, but seriously i've accidentally dropped my non waterproof phones in the water and they turned out fine.

@@raifordkenneth15 Ever heard of commas and dots? Anyway, I'm using the note 9 and have been for the past half a year, and honestly even with all of what you just listed, I don't see why I should upgrade. The note 9 has everything I ever needed and more from a phone, and it's still faster than 90% of phones out there, so as long as it doesn't start massively lagging, I'll keep with it. 6gb of ram is more than enough for me, the battery is big enough and the faster storage on the note 10 is something that doesn't even improve performance, as shown in various speed comparisons. So yeah, for me the note 10 just isn't worth it, and it's highly likely that I'll pass on the next year's phone line up as well.
I hate how they make these cheaper versions of flagships lose features just to make you consider spending more or settling for less. How did removing sd card slot help making the price go down ? it's there just to make you think about the better version, it's still expensive as hell god damn it they could just leave it there. But then nobody would really probably want the more expensive one just because of few gimmicks. Same with headphone jack, how is it possible that phone that expensive as note 10 plus doesn't have it ? It's done just to make customer buy wireless earphones. Greedy corporations make me sick
Also if you think about it the phone is smaller and the stylus is the same size, so they had to make room for that, the battery, and other hardware which made it where they had to take something's out. I still think it's priced too high though
@@eventusvantos2770 nah not more. Maybe not even same. Cause the thing is you can't listen to music and charge at the same time which something ppl do a lot.

Note 10+ is cheaper in resell loom up other places I found one for 800 dollars. Samsung's resell value drops rather fast in my opinion. But I would recommend you the op7 pro just because it's updated more often and one plus has better long term performance than Samsung but you do you
It’s not about whether or not you can fit the 3.5mm audio jack... it’s an outdated technology. For goodness sake, it’s an ANALOG connector! Unless someone is going to introduce a new digital audio jack, we’re better off without it. (Honestly, USB-C is probably the best candidate to replace the 3.5mm audio jack at this point. Many audio devices already use it, and almost every recent phone has one)
@@Proteus846 So give as second usb-c, so we can listen to music while charging. That would also mean less wear, as reapeded pluging and unpluging shortens the lifetime of that port
@@Proteus846 It's pointless for wired headphones to be digital, because we are humans and we understand only analog sound and it still need to be converted to analog at the end. The main reasons for digital signal are ease of processing it, ability to keep the proper level of quality over long distance or wireless connection and ability to transfer much more data at the same time. None of these reasons are necessary for wired headphones, so 3.5mm audio jack can't be obsolete.

This year is the first time I think the Note series looks aesthetically better that the S series. Previously I thought the other designs looked too squared off when it came to note but this current one works so well.
What I find cool about a lot of fingerprint readers is that on android (at least on my stock Nokia 7 Plus, and I know the S10e has it), you can gesture on the fingerprint reader after unlock to bring down notifications, on the S10e because it's on the side, can do it without having to pick up the phone while it's also nice in the hand. I still think the S10e is the first phone in a long while where I was tempted by flagship, if I hadn't just bought my 7 Plus, would have probably bought it.
A RU-vidr I’ve tried S10e but the power button is a little bit too high to do the gesture thing. Like, if I were to stretch my thumb all the way to the button, might as well just touch the screen corner. My LG G4 had the gesture, anywhere on the home screen. Same with a Korean brand Pantech Vega that I’ve used (6 inch phone in 2013 is freaking huge). Personally I prefer this gesture.
I'm an S10+ owner and I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm not sure I understand why people want high refresh rate displays. They murder battery life at the expense of a SLIGHTLY smoother transition and scrolling. Apple is doing just fine with 60Hz and their transitions are still better than Android. I think a software improvement is more needed than a hardware bump. Excited to see if the S11 lineup next year is even more refined.
