Hey listen my pen was like slowing down whenever I try to glide over the screen or I would have to press down really hard on the pen to get it to write which I shouldn't because its a new phone. I tried watching someone before you but they didn't help and I did everything just the way you said it and it actually worked. Thank you so much, we need more people like you🥰

0:43 old habbits never die (especially for previous note users). It took me quite a bit to get used to the new positioning of the spen when i got my note 20 ultra, having the slot on the left hand side wasn't the easiest thing to get used to, especially previously using a note 10 plus 😂😂

My Hero!! 1st time I ever had to replace my S pen bc it fell out of my phone, so I bought a new one online, but the button press wouldn’t work, so doing the reset TOTALLY made it work 100% Thank you!!!

For anyone that's having a problem with their s-pen such as needing to press harder on the screen just for it to register or work to scroll etc etc take the s-pen out of the phone and hold it in your hand at the top near the clicker and take your other hand and FLICK it (kind of like if you were going to flick the back of someones ear, lol) pretty good a couple of times at the bottom near the TIP and then try to see if the sensitivity changes back to the way its supposed to be like on the older Notes.. It has something to do with the spring or something in there and if you flick it a few times pretty hard it fixes the spring holding the s-pen tip and then it'll work like a charm! Obviously don't try to flick it hard enough to break it people!

I tried your easy fix for the S pen not responding; it didn't fix my issue. I'm thinking that it's actually part of my screen that doesn't work! I'm so irritated with this issue because I love my Note 20 Ultra 5G! Thanks for the suggestion.

Can you help with Galaxy 20 Ultra not detecting/ notifying of last location when I forget to replace s-pen back in phone and walk away from location with phone - but not s-pen. Previous model did this perfectly. This one nope. Have reset as in your RU-vid but it's not fixed this issue. 2 months ago forked out $163 for a new s-pen to replace one i left behind and wasn't traceable.......did it again today but and luckily shop assistant ran after me and returned it. I had recently lost my s-pen for Mt s20 ultra so, I had brought a new one off of ebay. My new one won't connect wen I try to connect it and I can't reset it. I even searched What to do and it said to hold the Button on the pen until the a LED light starts blinking but i don't get anything, What do I do?

Finelock latest update "pentastic" extension removed and now air command is working fine for me.

Sometimes the problem might be the location of the s pen icon on your phone screen so if its on the left move it to the right and try.

How about connecting a NEW replacement S pen? Mine won't connect even after I reset it. I'm hoping it's charging. I can write with it, but the actions and button do not work.

Was having issue with my s22 ultra S pen not detecting partial section of my screen. Issue was caused by magnet cover cases. Using second cover case without magnet, working fine now.

Will this be a different problem if you drop your phone? I dropped my phone a few days ago by accident, the s pen fell out somehow, and now it won't work... I have tried doing a reset on the s pen but it says ''cannot connect s pen''. Is there a way to fix this? or if its something inside the phone that won't connect it?

Hey Gregg, I follow your instructions and still my pen don't write in the middle of my phone. Do you have screen protector installed? I have mine on my phone. Without it writes good...

My S-pen works for actually writing on the screen, but it won't take pictures. It's also having problems connecting to the phone, it connected for a second and it showed the pen was at 100% & then the connection lost and kept saying wont connect. The instructions in the video didn't work for me.

S pen not clicking. It works on the air actions but it does not track with light or hard pressure

Anyone having issues with s pen only working on certain parts of your screen, if your case has a magnet, take it off and try it, should work

I have the buttons hidden where u just pull up and an action happens but my pen isn't doing it even after the reset the rest is awesome

I have trouble with the AOS. When I write a note on the black screen and pin it, it doesn't want to comeback up later. Also sometimes the fingerprint sensor doesn't show on the black screen either. I have to push the power button to get the screen to come on. And also, when it does, and I unlock it, it takes me to my lock screen, not the home screen. So I end up unlocking it twice. And sometimes it ask me to enter my code to unlock it after I restart it when I didn't restart??

My brand new note 20 ultra spen has a dead spot over the fingerprint reader area. It can work but I have to push extra hard in that area.

I need help! I just received the Note20 ultra and in the beginning my pen was working fine. About 2 days later it started acting up. If I go to live message I can write or draw but the center skips not allowing to write anything. I called Samsung they shipped a new one. And I still have the same issue. After transferring my data to the new phone, the old one works fine now. Can something on my account or apps be causing this?

Hi guys. I found a solution for part of screen not working with s pen. Remove your case. My problem was that my case has a magnet.

My S Pen was not writing correctly. Resetting it did not help. I removed the phone from my magnetic case and it worked fine.

This didn't work for me. I discovered that you must bring up the Air actions app and CLEAR CACHE and DATA.
