The kids washed My n9 it was all good except for both speakers were damaged badly it was working good but it was low on battery so i turnd it off and left it to dry now it won't turn on or charge, you think cleaning the boards wil solve it because as i said it was fine.
You Should Most Definitely Clean The MainBoard With 99% Isopropyl..Let It Soak For 15 Minutes.Then Use A Very Soft Toothbrush & Gently Clean The Board.Give It 30 Minutes To Dry Due To Most Components Being Covered By The Anti Static Shields.Then Reconnect. As For The Speakers You Can Use A Blow Dryer To Dry It Or Put It In An Enamel Dish In the Sun. Hope This Helps. 😊
I was wondering where to go to use your services. I have a note 9 that has some water damage from brief exposure. Had it in rice all nice and then tested the next morning. Screen turning on but that stopped after awhile. Put back in rice and took to a local shop.
Have a note 9 no power. Change charging and battery still nothing Amp meter shows 0.02 to 0.05 and keeps going under and down on those numbers.. Any idea what to check thanks

My phone is submerged, at first the screen shut down , then I tried to turn it on but the screen is not working anymore, it keeps turning on and off (i know because of vibration) even though im not turning it on anymore (I think it is force booting itself). I don't know what's broken anymore, what part of my phone do you think is broken? Its totally submerged, I thought it is still water resistant after 3 years of using it.

I have one, I dropped and the street was a little bit wet, I dont know if moisture got inside, But my phone starts, Has some notification and system sounds, Charges, But The screen never boots, Tactile panel works tho, I can feel the taptic feel when I touch the digitalizer, I want to fix the screen has no cracks or anything, It only wont start ( No video or anything) but phone works, I tried dissasembly and clean the Mobo and the rest of it but still not way to get this fixed and I dont know where and how to troubleshoot the problem.... Good Day,when You Opened It,Did You See Any Corrison On Any Of The Chips On The Mainboard?,If Not Components May Be Loose On Mainboard,If There Are No Issues Then Screen Needs To Be Checked With Another Screen.
If the motherboard is totally damaged and phone is not turning on, is there any way we can get a new motherboard and place the ufs chip of the old phone to the new motherboard so that we can get our data back??? I saw online that we can do reballing but is it possible to switch the chip between motherboards?? Is there a compatibility issue in that?

Good Day 1.Does The Backlight On Screen Comes On 2.If Screen Is Completely Black But You Hear Phone Sounds & Feel Phone Vibrates. There Can Be Corrosion On Screen Strip Connector Or Around Chips On Mainboard That Makes Screen Function. If You Do Not Have A Ultra Sonic Cleaner,You Can Put Mainboard In A Clean Bowl With 70% & Above Isopropyl.
Once Old Adhesive On Both Frame & Battery Cover Have Been Completely Removed,Cleaned W 80% & Above Alcohol ,Yes It Will Be. Apply New Adhesive Evenly On Frame & Around Frame Of Rear Camera, Use Clamp To Remove Air Gaps & Let Cure For 48hrs.
