You could see it from another side as similar to what Apple does, by using the 'Reassuringly Expensive' pricing strategy. People want the best and quite often see a lower price as lower quality even though its not true. So despite being annoying, I think its important that Samsung price their products similarly to Apple or customers won't know the difference between a Samsung and a Huawei.

I think being able to charge ridiculous prices like Apple is the dream of every tech and most fashion companies 😂

@@Nando_FloristXiaomi sell alot of watches.....they're affordalbe and do most things. Besides Apple watches work only with iPhones. Meanwhile Android phones have variety although I do tend to get Samsung devices to stay within the ecosystem like the Buds 2Pro I just bought which are also getting an update to work with some of the AI features.

A smart ring that I've been using has a touch sensitive portion of the ring that you can swipe with your finger to control power point presentations. It can be configured through the app to perform other functions like instructing your phone to take a photo when it is tapped. It connects via bluetooth and best I can tell it mimics a bluetooth mouse or keyboard depending on the functionality you set it up for. I'm guessing this Samsung ring will work similarly, since waiving your hand would be a bit too cumbersome.

There is a button on the phone stylus.

@@tullo5564 Samsung copied the concept from someone else. Credit hardly goes to Samsung. My point was that both Samsung and Apple are most likely developing this type of wearable. Samsung still haven't released theirs. For all you know, Apple might release their ring first..
