Bruh he said that the reason of him not staying is becouse of Samsung phone doesn't feel like iPhone. WTF!! That's like asking why the beef doesn't taste like chicken.
1. Use a launcher to make the home screen experience smoother (Evie has a very iPhone feel, Nova for customization. 2. Use gboard (google keyboard), it has wider keys and its easier to type on. 3. On the notification shade, you can click on the word not icon to pull up a mini menu (click ‘wifi’ and not the icon) 4. Schedule dark mode. 5. Apps like Evernote and tick tick will give you the same cross platform sync experience. 5. You can turn on lift to wake like on the iPhone. 6. You can remap the bixby button to open an app or run a command 7. The phone won't open on a single tap because you can set the AOD to show on a single tap instead of always on. 8. To smoothly scroll on Google chrome you can go on chrome://flags and enable smooth scrolling. Just some tips to enhance your experience.
Kart G Launcher is only going to change home screen stuff, the rest will still feel unresponsive. Welcome do Samsung, the worst software manufacturer in world of Android
@@bartekpekala77 oh u really think Samsung is the worst android manufacturer? They are actually the best rather than overpriced iPhones. Samsung makes their displays and chipsets. It is the software. You can just install a custom rom. Or even stock android. This shows that *10* is better than XS
samsung isn't the worst at software, they listen to peopleand the fact taht android is so customisable makes it so much better over the close and flat and way over priced IOS
It's true tho. I like iOS and Droid, but there's something about iOS that feels smooth and reliable that Droid just doesn't have. That being said, Apple is NOT nearly as far ahead of that game as they once were, and this guy knows it, they just haven't been quite outmatched yet to warrant an overall switch for his preference. iOS golden age was def when Jailbreak was simple and reliable so you could have the best of both worlds, all Samsung needs to do is get that fluidity and user friendly interface down. Any droid user can pick up an iPhone and operate it, vice versa has a learning curve. Both are GREAT systems, it just depends what you're looking for; simplicity and minimalism, or customization and personalization. I miss both no matter what when I bounce between them.
Sorry. I watched this from an informative perspective, and left disappointed having not really learned anything and his reasons for favouring an iPhone seemed poor. But the short answer is the apple ecosystem and how hard it is to leave.
As a guy that used iPhone since the 3G and has only had very shitty androids like LG Optimus T, it sounds like the S10 is better in every way. The only actual complaint is the snapchat and Instagram thing, which is very real, i dont know why its like that lol. Anyway, because hes already got all the other apple devices interconnected, he would rather stay there. Which is understandable. The 3rd and only other complaint was under an umbrella, the gestures. 9 days isn't long enough to get used to a completely different OS. I actually just got the S10+ a couple weeks ago because nothing that Iphone has released since the 6s has made me want it. It was really hard for me to do because I love Icloud and the photo sharing that I have with my family etc... But, the way I explain this to my friends and family as to why i switched is because theres nothing innovative or interesting in iPhone anymore. When the 3Gs came out I was like, "Man! You can take videos on your phone now?? I want that!" 5s: "Fingerprint scanner? Awesome!!" 6s: "3D touch? I really like that idea!" Ever since the 6s, there has been absolutely nothing released on the new iPhones other than better battery camera and processor just like every year for any phone. All in all, I'm still getting used to android, I like iOS a lot more but the S10+ is just flat out a better phone. Its a new experience for me as well being on my first android that isnt a shit 80$ phone. Which is kind of exciting. In my personal opinion id recommend the S10 any day of the week. If Apple doesnt add anything innovative, then... Man I hate to say it, I might just stay with Samsung. Absolutely blown away with that phone.
I’m so confused.... he switched back to iPhone but made a 12 minute video about how much he loved the Android lol ... & how better it was than the iPhone.
@@GotJay713 lol no. iPhones are not better than andriod. I used used to just use shitty budget andriods then Switched to iPhone 6s. Thought it iPhones were the best but nope. I Switched to the note10 recently and omds the features and options i have. iPhones can never top that
Acacia Desirae get the iPhone 11 or 11 pro the camera and processor speed is ridiculous and I was a Samsung fan until I got my iPhone 11 and fell in love with the cameras and how well the phone works and how the apps are much better quality compared to android something Samsung will never be able to compete with. Samsung use to have Apple beat in the camera department for a long time until now and there is no comparison.
John H Lol what about lagging and all that stuff like slowing down in Android. Iphones are better kn fluency than Android and iphones don't lag. Meanwhile android has this problem.
It's not necessarily the ecosystem, it's rather the refined and responsive operating system. You can get used to garbage hardware but if your software doesn't work properly, you will get irritated pretty quickly (btw used samsung smartphones for 6 years).
Dont blame Samsung for Snapchat and Instagram producing poor quality images, blame the companies as they're too lazy to update APIs and use the correct SDKs 🤷🏾♂️
@@angryviper1 after that other android users will cry for the fact that those companies doesn't optimize it for all android phones... The thing is that Google needs to change the way ANDROID works.
Yep. That would literally be perfect. Samsung has by far the best hardware on their phones these days (apart from the chip, which is slightly behind Apple’s), but it’s software just doesn’t seamlessly tie in all that hardware to create the best user experience like Apple does so well with iOS.
Samsung isn't responsible for your old habits... Edit: thanks for a heart, Tim. I don't hate you but I hope that you realise that animations can't outcome all of the better features of samsung, right?
@@Chillhoof he kept saying stuff like 'oh I don't like this, samsung you should really change it, iphone did it so much better, I guess I got used to it'. Samsung doesn't has to have everything same as iphone just because some people are addicted to iphone's lies.
@@Chillhoof oh and hey, i'm saying that he has no absolute reason to switch back to ios except his old habits that he got used to on it. I've never said that he was blaming samsung, I've just meant that samsung has better features than iphone, and that he just got used to ios so it's not samsung's fault for it.
Samsung is not responsible but Samsung is going against Apple which should make a product attractive to Apple users, meaning it should be as good as. If it's not then Apple users won't switch, and we all know that they all want the huge Apple user base. Not hating, I find the S10 an amazing machine, just stating what I think companies like Samsung should aim for.
@@thegeekdeveloper yeah I guess samsung just wants to stay unique? Honestly, it really already has better features, and that animation that he always talks about, there are so many levels of animation that you can change when you unlock developer settings

It’s not the animations. I know what he means. It’s the feeling that you get when you type or you open an app. Or simply just swipe through Instagram. It’s the feeling of an iPhone
That's a good point. That just shows that his preference is more with ios and there is no problem with that all. It comes down to preference and most importantly to detail. It's the details in the OS that people find important but actually can't explain which and how.
Kidloco works with all the apple products in the house hold, gets update support for years to come, great customer service "walk in apple store replace walk out" the most fluent ios ever In a smartphone, iMessage, facetime, apple pay, viruse free, look of preimiem device, simple to use and very efficient. These are the main reasons why 90% prefer ios over Android!! And why we buy apple products.
Keith Walker I was thinking the same! Either I see him all the time in different comments or people are using the same photo! Who is that or where is this from?!
If you have the option of buying a 10S Max vs S10+ you're better of buying the Iphone because It will receive updates for far longer, more frequently and you can sell the used 10s Max for way more than a used S10+. (It's shitty but its true. Iphones maintain value longer than any android) the S8 last update will be android pie. Iphone 7 will be updated till IOS15
I'm better of buying Samsung as the iphone will struggle to sell for the price i want, in our country the iphone will never maintain its value on the second hand market. The longer you sit with your iphone, the less your going to get. I'll get more for my S10+, than you'll ever get for your 10S Max
@@danielisflying Samsung s10 gets 3 years full of Updates. I don't know how long you keep your Phones but that's enough for me. S10 is better in every aspect from Charging to the Camera. He says the samsung has a better screen, better battery life, better camera, better earphones but then goes back to the iphone. You could give this guy a phone with a 8k display, 1 year battery life and a camera clearer than the hubble space telescope and he would still go back to the iphone
@@shouryeningle3688 How? The S10 models have better specs. The S10e is the same price as the XR, but far better in features. The S10 Plus manages to make what the S10 has better, and Apple is kind of lacking. They always make the same style phone, but Samsung surprises us with these unique models. And that's not true, considering Apple has the highest of 4Gb ram, but samsung has up to 12.
I love how he said samsung copied the airpods when samsung released the gear icon x 2016 wireless earbuds in july almost a whole half a year before airpods. Whose copying who now.
I’m also watching on my iPhone 6s 😂 but if I switch I think I’m going for an iPhone XR. But I think you should totally get a new phone like the Samsung!
Wow.. I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy S10 plus 1tb, 12g variant, but I do own the iPhone 7 plus, issued by my job , and I feel the exact opposite. The iPhone seems too restrictive, and uniform in every aspect with Zero customization. The ios platform is a complete bore to me. I've owned other iPhone models in the past usually for work, but my personal phones have always been Android. The open android platform suits my life better. And the new Samsung s10 plus is like a high-tech work of art. I love it.
Yes....that's the point truegrit2011..... for a person who uses a phone as a pice of technology primarily for communication/work and if I may say so ...non social lifestyle ( I mean minimal use of FB, insta , snapchat ....etc) an I-Phone is better....because of all the hardware (except screen) and software being built by one company it has superior performance. It provides an environment for the user to easily accept and incline to. These are my views ......please I would like if someone can share some of theirs on this topic as I am an i phone user for the past 3yrs and can't decide whether to shift to S10 or not.

The Engineer Guy Samsung phones however are known to “burn out”, meaning that whilst they may be quicker for a year or so, they will decrease in performance whereas the iPhone will maintain steady performance for a lot longer
He is just finding illogical and baseless reasons to switch back to iPhone, and truly the only reason he is switching back is that he is too used to The Apple ecosystem
Not really, many friends of mine who usually uses iPhone in the past years have tried using Samsung, but at the end most of them decided to switch back to iPhone. Their reasoning is kinda similar to what has been said in this video.
Switching to iPhone for just an smoothness feelings and jus the looks is not a good idea whereas Samsung beats iPhone in all parameters in scale of 99/100 as per your words .
Yes, it is a good idea if that's his reason for going back. Specs don't matter only how the phone works and looks for you... Only thing I wish is that the Android cam was as good as an iPhone one
the watches are another part. apple watch 4 runs so much better then then galaxy watch, i would have stayed with sammy if they kept samsung pay (MST) on the new watch but left that. and yes i know u can do it with the phone but when i go out now i use the watch as a stand-alone.
Open Season it’s not the phone, it’s the ecosystem. And that’s not a bad thing. Apple has a nearly perfect connection between their devices that make things like 2 day lasting battery not matter.
@@MrLepetitbonhomme IOS is refining an outdated OS. It's baffling how childishly simple the iPhone is, Galaxy is just far more intuitive and better to love with. Enjoyed listening to your experience. I’m hardcore apple, but for a year I did jump to the Samsung/Android world only by switching the phone. This was sort of an unfair battle since I do own an Apple Watch, Macbook Pro, and iPad 4 Mini... a year later, inevitably, I switched back. I do have a question/request for you though. Next time you switch to the next best Samsung device, could you also switch 100%? Using a tablet, a Samsung watch, Alexa in your house, etc? This would allow for a much more accurate review and comparison. This experience you had was already since day 1 an unfair battle. Just a suggestion from a hardcore Apple user.

i made a list of what he was saying. easons why Samsung: Samsung is quicker. Can be used in direct sunlight. Detail is great. Signals are good. The connector is greater. the fast charger is good. battery life is good, even better than iPhone with the battery case. Wireless power share is great, ( he didn't use it though ). Galaxy buds are great. They got everything right. The sound is better than i buds things. The animation is good and fast but not the best. (Likes iPhone better if the Animations.) Storage is better, faster, and greater. Sd card is a great option. The camera is solid. Great wide angle etc. Galaxy is better with Tesla, Bluetooth 5.0 works like a treat. Apps stay longer open. cellphone coverage is much better. Instagram stories are built in the camera. great feature. Night mode is great but liked the white background more. You get more for your money than iPhone does. Design of the display is better (notch). The reason why switch back to iPhone. Gestures work better on iPhone. Speaker is better. iPhone has better unlockable feature, ( although Samsung has more he had some troubles with it 5 % out of 100%) keyboards is better than Samsung. ( reasons he cant use it that good as he says, he mistype sometimes ). Single tap to wake up is better from iPhone (still he doesn't know how Samsungs work) a home pod is great. That's the thing with Apple. They restrict access so much it's virtually impossible to switch to something else without having to change your entire setup.
I agree with him on the animations too. At the developers conference Apple had a 2 hour long presentation on the science of it. Psychology it feels more fluid.
Giglefreakz i have some Android smartphones (like an Samsung Galaxy S8 and a Google Pixel 2) but my primary phone is an iPhone, it has nothing to do with the Ecosystem, it’s all about Ui, features, simplicity, the movement, the restrictions… Apple offers just the best phone experience for the majority in my eyes, even my 68 old grandma can use it, an Android phone was her way too complex… Android is great but just for the younger generation or a more differently experienced group of people or people who want a cheap smartphone. Android is great but it’s no alternative to iOS in my eyes, these are two worlds, i prefer iOS (even when it’s not as personalized or customizable) i couldn’t use Andoid smartphones primarily… i‘m pumped for the Xperia 1 as an example but just for the less important things… i started with Android primarly but never went back after the iPhone 6s… because it’s not a game changer anymore, Android is in my eyes non-different to what it originally was 6 years ago… in that time iOS changed rapidly…

So basically ... you switched back because you were more used to it and it was more cost effective to stay with Apple? The cost effective thing I can understand; it would cost a lot for you to replace everything Apple related in your home if you really did get Apple everything. But, the fingerprint sensor ... you just needed to find a screen protector that works with it. Those are out there. I'm still leaving Apple for the new Samsung though; that's not going to change
For me, I know I've got an S9, buy if ya get the right case for it ya may find you don't need a screen protector. The way a lot of cases are shaped to allow you to style utalize the curved screen, the top and bottom of the case would keep the screen from ever cracking if ya drop it. Idk if people use protectors for that or to keep it safe from car keys or not.
