As a delivery driver I am using this phone's GPS, Bluetooth, camera, internet 5 years everyday non stop and it's still didn't loose performance. Really serious phone. You don't need 5G, more than enough 4G.
I agree. Bought mine 1 year after it came out. Ebay for 50% off. Brand new, in the box. Not refurbished. Works great and the battery lasts all day for my average use!
Watching from S10e here. It's already more than 4 years old, but still reliable. Reception is great. The battery capacity is 89%. I like how small it is. The cameras still perform well (even better than other newly-release phones). Not a gamer. That's why the RAM of this device addresses my needs. I love S10e. I hope Samsung would again release a tiny phone like this.
@@irfanhakimi2721 Hello! I feel safe even without the updates. I downloaded Kaspersky. It helps me against malware even during the time when my phone still received updates from Samsung.
Absolutely!!!!! Greatest phone Samsung ever made. Still have the mask and the SD card. Samsung should bring out the s10e can edition for 2025. I just this phone for my travel documentaries and the quality is BETTER than the S24, why? Because back then Samsung did not oversaturate the photos. I've owned their new ones and they just don't compute in terms in usability. The real kicker is the finger print reader. On the s10e the reader is on the side where it BELONGS! And it is super fast - much better than the S21 through S24. BY FAR!!!!! I cannot emphasize just how good this phone is. I have a spare new one for when the battery finally goes. It's that good. Samsung could do well to issue a fan edition for 2025.
Samsung has a built-in feature that can stop charging at 80% and lessens battery degradation! I religiously keep the charge between 80% and 20% as Lithium-Ion batteries are most happy at 50%! This is extremely important for battery preservation!
I actually don't get it bro, you need to hold your phone for the whole day, when you know if you charge it to 100% you will have only 2 years healthy battery and want it to extend to 3-4 years, but you already maintain the battery like 80% unhealthy status like from day 1, what's the point then? I already changed the battery for my S10 by myself at year 4
I know! When I did a factory reset two months ago, I discovered that feature as well! Now I charge up to 85% all the time, and if or when I'm away from a plug for a while, I carry a fully charged external battery on me all the time!
@@smashed5826 Do you recommend replacing the bettery of s10e , what is the battery backup after replacing it. cuz in my phone it gets decreased by 1% every 4 minutes
@@omotoyinboadesoji1122 Know what an external battery is? Flat thing about the same size and shape of a smartphone that hooks up to the USB-C port of the handset via a wire from the battery... You use it when you know you're going to be away from an outlet or car jack for an extended period of time...
I picked up a refurbished one on eBay for cheap best phone ever honestly I wouldn't swap it for a newer one because I like the form factor and features it has such as the fingerprint scanner in the side and the expandable storage and headphone jack also it's plenty fast for me whereas a newer budget phone won't pay that fast but it depends on how new and your budget. Also I like the feel of a premium flagship phone.
had s23 but sold it and went back to s10e. Phone is something that will be dropped, no more stress of having to watch out not to scratch very expensive s23. The camera is not THAT much better - more AI processing at work than optics. S10e have all the same functions, is lighter and more comfortable to use
watching on my s10e. I like how small it is since my last phone was around the same size and this is my first flagship. Wish I searched more because I'm seeing s10 for the same prices. More ram and battery would be nice since this cant handle heavy games anymore. I want to upgrade to the s21 ultra by the years end.
Mine just broke and I was not ready to part ways, watching this video because I'm pretty sure I'm just going to get another one. Add under $150 for a refurbished one I think it would be a better move to get a very feature-rich phone that's actually nice and small, even though it's not the most current it's still better than a lot of stuff out there and runs just fine especially if you don't game
I still have my S10e and it works just as well as the day I got it (albeit the battery is a bit less potent). Great phone. I will be keeping it until it dies since it still has the aux plug.
Honestly, the s10e is the greatest phone Samsung has put out in terms of physical features they should've never removed. The power button with the slide notifications and Samsung pay features, absolutely amazing. Keeping the headphone jack was top tier. I only bother with custom music during long drives, and switching to a phone without aux is blasphemy, especially when you can't charge and do aux.
Watched on my over 5 year old 256gb S10e with it's 8gb of ram and 512gb micro SD card, Qualcomm snapdragon 855! This is so perfect for me! All the phones on rhe market and this one stands in a class all by it's self! Bravo to Samsung!
Beautiful design, perfect size, great display, lightweight. I love it. I bought mine in 2021, brand new. It's the exynos version (snapdragon is better), but still a great phone. Cons: proximity sensor, Bixby button, small battery, temperature management (Exynos).
Привет! У меня такой жеа смартфон в 2023 или 24 году. Круто пишет видео селфи, нормально ещё батарейка родная, более-менее держит. Крутой смартфон на данный момент
Time to go visit Samsung corporate offices and talk to the designer engineers. They need a little direct feedback from their customers. Anyone live nearby who can go over and let them know how much they are missing the boat with their new phones compared to the s10e?
Ordered one on eBay to replace a Moto G Stylus 5G with a broken on/off button and I'm so excited! In every way other than the battery life and the stylus, the Samsung is as good or better, plus it's Samsung's last flagship to have a headphone jack. I can't wait!
I want to upgrade but there is nothing close enough to size and features, The fact that you can take 4k video with the selfie camera is amazing. Only Asus Zenphone 10 and s23/24 are consider. (my battery still lasts a day)
Just got mine for free, had a customer come in for an upgrade and they let me have it. The only thing wrong with it is the battery as it’s bloating but it’s an easy fix and aside from that, it’s in perfect condition. Gonna trade that sucker in for a Galaxy Flip5
I like my s10e although it needs a battery replacement but also has burn in so i would need to replace screen too or suck it up. At that point i feel like i should just get a new one
i had to recently replace my battery. I also put on a new screen protector. Sadly I do have some screen burn in, but I see no need to replace it. It's a great phone.
The problem is that you can't buy it new anymore. I haven't found a single shop that sells new ones. This means you are potentially dealing with scammers trying to sell a phone with some defect, or a battery with depleted resource, or your phone will die in half a year because it was already used for 3 years before you got it
I hate having to play the battery game, but that's why I am here...just interested about battery life in these dinosaurs. My S10e battery is about done. It was at 15% this morning....looked on the web for about 5 minutes, and it went down to 5%. Plugged it in to my PC USB (slow and low to keep down battery heat) and it died charging. I wouldn't bother replacing it if it wasn't for the battery. All these big clown companies want to talk eco, but they don't offer a replaceable battery, so they don't want eco, just more money.
I’m thinking buying a second hand S10E for daily phone , I’m using xsmax brought from 12-2022. My xsmax have some problems now just thinking I need to buy S10E or just repair my xsmax 👀👀
One thing you can try is doing some software optimizations which is getting rid of bloatware apps and tweaking some settings you can look up some videos on this.
Sad that they never made another S...e phone again. At least for me it made the right trade-offs from the regular S10. Only issue I have and always had is the battery life always was the big weakness and only has gotten worse due to wear and more demanding Software.
Hmmm thanka for this.. still not sure between the Google pixel 4a or this one. What's putting me off this one is they stopped doing updates on this mobile last year. What would you do?
If you buy Exynos version, you can get essentially Android 14 on it via Project Elixir. If you have Snapdragon version, you're boned and can't do anything.
I have an unused s10e that I was planning to start using, but the glue of the back cover is starting to come undone...can this be repaired? If so, how?
I opened the box a couple of weeks ago and when I took it out of the box yesterday, I noticed that the back cover was coming undone on one side...No excessive heat.
Yep I'd buy an "e" version. However, Samsung removed headphone jack, SD card slot and discontinued the "e" series. Almost everything they did was against what I want as a customer.
Thank you soo much for making this video because I am saving money to purchase second hand s10e soon and this review is helpful and I just love this phone 😊🤍
