@2Coop 4U From my experience, most iPhone users that hold on to their phones for very long time tend to have broken screen glass, scratched body, app opening taking long time to load and the worst of all is horrifying battery life that fairly last even half a day. Totally not a quality experience if u ask me, which could affecting your daily productivity. Yet they holding on to the same phone just because Apple still technically "supporting" them. Same reason why patient with very severe condition stop being given life support because they're suffering even though they can technically stay alive with support. Everything has its age. My 2 cents, cheers
That's my only gripe with this phone and I actually have it. Good luck finding a headphone jack adapter that actually works with this phone also. My car doesn't have Bluetooth so using Bluetooth with this phone in my car isn't an option for me. Surprisingly the only headphone adapter that actually works with this phone in my car is the Apple adapter. The Samsung adapter didn't even work in my car. It only worked for headphones not external speakers.

Incredible video, I haven't said this but I should have. It looks like you put so much effort into it and I believe you do. Love the shots, camera angles, and just the over commentary and everything about it!
@Techdaily i agree! I would only add up some numbers above the image when you say those comments. Love the reviews, but that would make them even better (e.g. some numbers on top in the camera showing them while talking about them) ;)
My S8+ just recently started slowing down. The battery wouldn't last half the day. After tons of research, I decided to purchase the S20 FE and I do not regret it. I thought I would really miss the curved screen, which I loved, but there is so much more to love with this phone. You will not be disappointed. This phone also takes much better astrophotography photos than the S8+. What can I say - I'm an astro-nerd.
I can buy this phone for $369 ($300 for s9 trade in and $30 education discount). This ultimately makes this phone cheaper than what I paid for the S9 a year and a half ago )$400), which is insane to me!
In Norway, right now both phones costs the same, around 825 USD. FE version seems better and there is a definitely huge difference in the front camera, but the size is a problem for me since I have small hands. I still have a hard time choosing between one of them.
I just upgraded from the Samsumg A6 and I'm in love with the FE. It is a huge phone for my little lady hands and feels like its worth something. I got the white phone and it has a silver overlay on the sides. I'm glad I decided to spend some money on myself onstead of this ungrateful child of mine!! Get it...
I know im like almost 4 years later but that S20 FE was secretly a mini s20 Ultra. Not even joking. The zoom was insane for the price and specs of that phone. I feel they purposely made it sound weaker on paper so they can bring price down and get money and compete against other phones. Quite good thinking from Samsung. The s20 fe was a mini Ultra with just a lower res screen
Wow that was an excellent comparison and if I hadn't already decided on the FE, you would've sold me on it. I ordered mine (Cloud Lavender) at Best Buy but it's not $599 anymore.....it's $700 right now. I would've gotten mine at Sprint (online) but they are out of stock on colors and I'm sick of black....I wanted some color for a change. I have an S7 Edge right now and I actually love it but in talking with different people, even though I have a 5G option on the phone, I'm being told the updates probably won't work for the 5G, so I'm having to upgrade my phone, otherwise I would keep my Edge. Thanks for the vid ~ it was awesome!
I mean i noticed the difference in processing and there is a difference in ram and in my opinion thats worth the extras for what I do i also can completelt see the difference in the display being lower resolution i like just how crisp the image is on the s20 on the screen and yes i can see it not many people are as sensitive to that as me since I pay attention to every little detail even how it looks around the apps and if you look the edges are sharper on the s20 but awesome video as always
I don't see how you would notice any difference in processing power. They have the same processor and I would imagine Samsung didn't make a slower version of the mother board just to sell the S20FE. So I would put that down to psychological, unless you actually deliberately maxed out the RAM of the SE by having a lot of apps running then compared to the S20 under the same conditions.
Just upgraded to the FE from a S8+ and the first thing I noticed was the display. Ima be honest here, the S8+ display (1440p vs 1080p on the FE) looks better. Like noticeably better. Colors are more vibrant and clear. RU-vid videos are more enjoyable and you don't really notice the pixels on the S8+ but you do on the FE (because the screen is so big). The only thing is, the FE has the 120hz display and it makes the phone extremely smooth but it isn't life changing. However, you really are getting your moneys worth with the FE but if you're a display guy like me, I would go for something with a 1440p screen and sacrifice the 120hz. I really was, originally, just going to settle (if you want to call it that) for the S10+ from last year but the infinity display was something I disliked about my s8+ and the s10+ has the exact samething. This is why I chose the FE (for its flat screen). I Was also thinking about the s20 and s20+ but the price they're going at just wasnt worth it to me. You really have to sacrifice something in the cell phone world we live in now. Unless of course you have to cash to really go for the high-end flagships and in that case you won't have to sacrifice anything.
the base ram should just be at least 8gb. having it at 6gb only gives you 2gb free to use due to all the background apps that stack up to 1.1gb immediately after clean up in memory.
Just got the S20 Fe few days ago. So far it's awesome phone I love it. I got a good deal with it too. The regular s20 was $999 and FE was $699 so it was a easy choice for me
@@ziadal6998 Thanks man, I think it's time, with the amazing new things the Fe has compared to the S9+. Now would be a great time to upgrade, that's why I did it. Just go for it man, don't think you will be disappointed!
@@BelieveVs does 5 g really make tht much of a difference? Im definitely getting the s20 but not sure if i ahould get the s20 or s20fe. Im leaning toward the reg s20. The screen size doesn't really bother me. I like the more ram honestly. Plus its only 50.00 more than the s20fe. What would u recommend?
@@vperkv6554 Coming from me, its up to your personal preference. Basically the same phone but display and design are different. The s20's display is more cinematic and bezeless while the fe has as much bezel as mid ranges like the note 10 lite and a71. Also has a more "note series" shape to it which im not a big fan of. The s20 is smaller as mentioned unless you go for the s20+ which is the same size and more screen to body ratio compared to the fe. I'm actually having the same issue as you with the 2 phones. My current choice is the s20 but the price is way more then the fe for me. Im only 14 and not working so my father is buying it for me. Its going to be hard convincing him but ill try. Also if you think about the future ill say the s20 as a less of embarrassment for the display. But since itll be hard to find someone to fix it the s20 fe would win. If you dont know why, it is because the s20 is discontinued. This means you have to make your decision fast as they are running out. If you have the money s20. Final answer. Side note: i dont know where you are from but seeing from the money conversation, its not the usa probably. (Please do not bash me for this as im a more mathematical illustrated person, im not so geologically talented). If your getting the exynos version its an automatic pass to the s20 fe. The s20 exynos variant is harsh if you plan to have it long term. The battery will go bad as fast as a lit birthday candle (fast).
@@elizabethjayjay1043 i ended up getting the s10. Headphone jack for me made it an easy choice. I dont game with it, just phone, text n google. Plus the phone size is perfect. Phones shouldnt be tht big, i have a tablet for tht.
According to me i think so Samsung is better for the innovation in the devices I just love the new hardware that they make every year and apple even with good hardware has outdated design
I’m on an s20+ and considering switching solely because of the lack of curved screen. The S20 made the curve less obnoxious but I still can’t get a decent screen protector for it. I like the matte look a lot.
Excellent review. As I write we are waiting for the Samsung rep to come to our house to swap my wife's S9 plus for S20FE.. It's a great phone. Though I have the Note10 plus, I'll be jealous of that zoom. It's great value. We compared against the Pixel 5 and the 20 FE absolutely kills the Pixel. Thanks for all the information. It confirmed her choice was a good one!
After one month: S20 FE: Battery - all day, great. Size- not an issue, got used to it right away. Only downside, maybe the fingerprint sensor, gets finicky. I use a dongle for the wired earbuds I still have, easy.
I will get a new phone for my birthday as a present so cost is no issue. I like the size of s20, The battery of Fe and I hate curved display. I use my nikon Z6 to take pictures. Now what Phone should I get. This is hard.
I have just bought a S20 FE and paid 20 GBP more than a S20 because the S20 felt a little small in my hands. Hopefully the screen on the FE is ok when it arrives as the screen on the S20 looked beautiful
I paid for $500 for my S20 FE.. that's Australian dollars mind you. It's as good as I expected the S20 to be. Best value for money I ever spent on a phone.
The irony is, that here in Europe the S20 FE 5G is actually the flagship, because it is the only S20 series phone that comes with the Snapdragon chipset which is superior to the Exynos one. I am currently watching second hand listings and already saw people trading in their S20 series phones for the FE 5G, you can get the Ultra for 600€, a few months old, already. I probably wait until next year, prices might drop again.
anything higher then 1080 on screens that big is overkill. I have s9, girlfriend has a s10e , running side by side, can't tell, now my dam laptop with a 17 inch I can see the screen is only 1080 p lol.
For your first question, the A71 is the best in terms of specs, but you may find better value in the M31. For the second question, the Note 20 Ultra is much better than the S20 Ultra, and it's $100 cheaper than the S20 Ultra.
I'm torn. Was looking at a Fold 2, like the real estate- but for the 2k I could get an FE AND a tablet for actually settling down and watching a movie on.. otherwise, i don't pay much attention to videos on a phone. Too hard to see. PLUS- like we used to say about our stereo systems in the 70s.. if one component goes down, you have backup while it's in the shop. Hmmm.
why Samsung does this is beyond me. if your gonna make a more expensive phone make all specs equal or better than cheaper phone, the less MP front camera and less mAh battery does not make any sense
this video definitely made me switch over to s20 fe... im happy to compromise on the minor differences when theres otherwise not major difference( minus the ram and camera/video)
8:26 I think now i know more about the silver ring...hum 🧐🧐dont look when the screen if black but instead check when there is something running on screen So immersive that's smart Samsung🙃🙃 👌👌
What I don't get is how so many devices skip over 2K. Shooting choices are likely 1080p or 4K, yet 1440p is a noticeable improvement over 1080p, and not as demanding as 2160p.
Me got the ☁️ red FE 😍. Wow, that 865processer really flies? The 120hz display, speed wise, & the clarity of the screen even at 1080p is excellent. 📷 & 🔋 also very good. Even at full retail, kind of a no-brainer!

Im sick right now. Google fi ran a special spring of 21 and i bought my. S20 for 400 bucks. Brand new not a refurbishment.... A week later i crap you not, it dropped to 300 bucks. The s21 was 100 more respectively. Yes s21 was 500 and 400. So cheap i decided i couldnt affird to protect it or put a big time case on it... Obviously ive broken it BADLY 6 months in and theyre back up to 800 bucks fir the s20. LUCKILY samsung is running a cracked screen special giving 250 trade in towards a refurbished fe pruced at 450. I went into Sam's Club today to buy granola, walked out with an AT&T promotion. I got this phone for FREE with the trade-in of my old Galaxy S9+. @@JohnJohnson-hn9fx both use sony sensors. What makes the difference is the ISP. Both Exynos and Snapdragon have different ISP, hence why both produce quite different pictures
Nice video but some mistakes about the specs found in your video, just a small reminder. 1. S20 is equipped with Dynamic AMOLED and the screen on S20 FE is SuperAMOLED. 2. The Ultrawide cameras of S20 and S20FE are DIFFERENT. S20's = 12MP 120° 1.4um, S20FE's = 12MP 123° 1.12um. The pixel size of UW camera in S20 is bigger but the viewing angle is a bit wider for S20FE. 3. The telephoto camera of S20FE is a real 3x optical zoom camera, but the one in S20 is a '1.1x optical camer' but it can achieve 3x lossless hybrid zoom by cropping the 64MP 1.1x camera. S20FE is expected to get a better result for high rate zoom i.e higher than 10x. But the advantage for S20 is that the 64MP telephoto camera actually kicks in when zooming more than 2x. So the 2x-3x zooming range and the 2x portrait shot would be better in S20. 4. The S20FE 32MP front facing camera is by no means better than the 10MP front camera in S20 in specs perspective. The 32MP camera is for mid-range phone so you can find it in M51, A51, A71 etc because this camera does not have the auto focus capability. Other than that, the optical quality, built generation etc... are better for the 10MP one. 5. You did turn on the filter (beauty mode) for your front facing camera as the magic wand icon at upper right corner turned yellow when you took your selfie. You could click the magic wand icon, then click 'face' and click the smile emoji at lower right corner to turn it from 'auto' to 'on' and, finally, to 'off'.
hey, could you please elaberate on your 4. bulletpoint about the front camera? I dont quite get why an 10 MP front cam can be better than a 32 MP one. It would rlly help me out deciding to buy a new phone (still struggling between Apple or android)
@@alexrantsios8691 the 10mp on the s20 has auto focus while the 32mp is just a regular 32 mp and also low light shots are better on the 10mp camera of the s20
Also point 6 - The cooling systems on both phone are different.... S20 has a graphite pad and a copper vapour chamber system while the s20 fe has only the graphite pad as its cooling system Point 7 - Finger print tech is different, s20 has a ultrasonic scanner while the s20fe has a optical scanner
Snapdragon is the way to go if ya'll game a lot. But if u use a phone in the day to day life then I think Exynos won't matter that much. But I don't have any idea coz that's what I hear from some reviewers and some of my friends tell that too. We always get Snapdragon in our region!

Why does that bother you? I've had this phone since launch. I never notice it. And its really only there on the lock screen. Probably helps in facial recognition.
