I found the american units to be very useful in getting a sense of the thickness. If given the mm measurements, i would just go around measuring random stuff around my house anyway to get a sense of what xx mm is anyway. Slice of butter was the best one.
@@tigo01 I find it much easier to visual what is 3mm in my head or even by doing a visual gap between my index finger and thumb then american units. I choose 3 mm versus 1/8 inch 1/8 inch'ish (or 0.11811 inches) anyday. Except for a few things like a person height. I know what someone 5"10 is approx but no idea how they measures in centimeters without having to convert it haha. Computers too, 120MM fans, 140mm, 280 Rads etc. Everything makes sense. You know that you can fit 2 x 140 mm fans on a 280mm radiator.

@@Kimdah_ thats why i buy android phones flagships a year after release hahah, i got a p30 pro new for less than half its original price, worth it. I wouldnt wanna spend 1400 and it's half the price few months later ouch

Remember how Samsung used to sponsor him and he was pro-Samsung in his videos? Well, guess why he has recently started to make subtle digs against Samsung? Might be something to do with being sponsored by LG.
Stop Media Fakery Not really, he still uses a Samsung as his main phone. I think we was just taking digs at them because of their “glass” that was advertised for the Z flip. Same as he did to Apple for years about their “sapphire”.
@@StopMediaFakery he's just being real. Samsung used to be the best and most innovative Android manufacturer. Now they've gone the Apple route charging $1400 for a phone that should be 400 less.
@@TheCuriousNoob, well it still costs 530$ to manufacture, then pay the workers at assembly line, pay for the research, patents, marketing, offline stores and so much more
It's an apt description - this phone's price point is unreasonable for your average (or poor) smartphone user. But for its level of technology, it's a reasonable price, just made for people with disposable income. ;)
@otakurocks There is no actual benefits to switching to metric units for most Americans. The only benefit to metric units is easy conversions but how often do you need to convert units in your daily life?
Rewatching this on my Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra 5g , 3 years later and it's still a beast, dropped with a belt clip from 43 feet onto a concrete walkway when my OtterBox belt clip decided to snap while doing a roofing job, the phone hit the ground bounced twice and landed on the front of the phone, no damage thanks to OtterBox for making a durable protective case.
Yeah this phone is a beast especially with the Otterbox and still 4 years later flies through anything I do with it and battery is holding up better than any of my previous phones. Worth the $600 I paid in mid 2020 for a refurbished one all frigging day, expect this bad boy to last another 3 years before I'm ready to get the new new.
Im an AMERICAN and im offended by that bit you did with the units of measurements. How rediculous! As im sure you know, we really use Trump stickers, school bullets, and fentanyl pills.
@@HouseHoldAdventures actually it is! XD Having a metric system based on decimals rather than fractions is way easier to use than a fractionary sistem. Yes fractions are legit most accurate (eg ⅓ vs .33) but it's way easier to measure in decimals, or just go down a space to the right for higher precision (.333)
Why wouldn't the average American avoid them its not taught in our school systems. Europeans and Brits and other countries will say anything they can to feel superior. It's kinda sad how long this has been going on.

@@a_shrxydud Yep. And their only excuse was that more 5g towers were built when their phone came out. Can U guess which phone was the first phone with 5g? Hint, it's an android phone.
Jo i changed it yesterday for the s20 plus. I still have a very special relationship with my old phone It lasted 4 years. Dont be ashamed, the latest ipho has a poor resolution. Literally i would not change to apple. It would be like switching from 1080p to 140p in the settings. S7 edge might have been the best phone of the decade regarding price and screen quality.
"I don't recommend stealing other people's phone buttons, but if being a terrible person is your thing, the option is available." I DIED WTF Edit: it's at 2:32 as someone pointed out.
Dropped mine completely naked - phone, not me - without a case, into an empty cast iron bathtub, from 1.5m. Landed on edge, then face down did a few falling leaf slides before stopping on top of drainage hole. Didn't have the courage to pick it up for 5min, knowing that glass is glass and glass, you know... Well, eventually took my heart in my teeth, picked it up, turned around--and surprise surprise, not a single scratch!! Absolutely amazing, just imagine an iPhone in its place... The only problem with this phone is the fingerprint scan reader, hit and miss only works about 3 out of 10 times. Dissapointed on camera and its advertising is an understatement.
And then, right, get this: There’s a Goat government that managed to seize almost all deposits of pyrodinium in the world, become ruler of 32.073% of the planet then banned Goat farming all for the sole purpose of freeing the Goats and placing them to their rightful place as overlords of 32.073% of the world. Most of their territory is ocean and their religion worships slightly burnt carrots grown in Canada. I think the mighty Goat government is currently based in some field in Swaziland.
@@EternalShadow1667 then that goat government becomes goat thanos and collects the infinity grass and wipes out the humans. Eventually the goats are the only species alive on earth.
@@tonywhite5085 i doubt that considering that even famous youtubers who receive phones from company's like Samsung and Apple to review the phone have to return the phone back to samsung/Apple or whatever other company after a certain time with the phone. They don't get to keep it and certainly not destroy them either. Unless you are sayin he is a durability beta tester which would also not be the case since these company's have their own stress test and durability test before phones even become available for the market.
